I would give just about anything to hear/see him perform this song live. This song, the way he performs it, is akin to seeing a movie, it gives a life story in a song. He breaks my heart. I've tried to find all the versions he does of it.
I was two rows behind and only got a clip of this performance but it was absolutely magical with the dusk colors, the crickets were starting to chirp and the whole performance was something I could never forget. I am so happy I found a full video of it. Thank you for posting!
Of course! This song is one of my faves and it was worth it to capture it through my screen, so I could watch it on repeat as I drove back to Seattle. Also, there was a moment in the show where he paused, listened to the crickets, took in the sunset, and then went back to his set list. Just perfect!
I love Greg and crew with all of my heart. I’ve seen them several times since becoming a fan almost a decade ago. Controversial/ unpopular opinion: I do not enjoy this song. I do love the live intro.
This is definitely a different song that is not based upon his normal alt/country feel, but I do fear that if you are not moved by this, you may want to check a mirror for your soul... :)

Heard him play it live in Manchester a few weeks ago. It was indeed spectacular
