Lovely to see you again HelloItsKolo. I've missed your sunny face. Sadly the FO4 Update has totally screwed my game and I think I'm going to have to uninstall and start a totally new Vanilla game after 1000's of hours building Settlements and exploring. I know you're going to love this game, but be careful, it's addictive!
There are ways to downgrade your game, I think it involves downloading certain files and some modding to make it work but it would mean you don't have to abandon your saves.
Hey Kolo! Haven't seen your vids since the Elite Dangerous era. Great to see you're still just as mostly unintentionally funny as I remember. The Fallout series is another one of my favourites. Looking forward to seeing you progress on this one. And cracking me up while doing it. 😂
Fallout, i would say is pretty good for people who have adaptive needs purely for the VATS system. I mean, if you struggle to aim manually, the game gives you something to assist with that which is pretty neat.
You are one of the few people seeing and taking that security baton when u first saw that giant radroach ;) Well done... I like how "imersed" you are into the game. Like me when I'm playing it and I do so since release 10 yrs ago ^^
Not a spoiler: At 2:13:40 you seem a bit overwhelmed by the sudden dump of so many quests all at once. Bethesda sort of broke their game a month ago. It used to be you got exactly one quest. Then a month ago they added a bunch of totally optional player-made quests and stupidly set them all up to launch when you open the vault. If you want to know which one is the original quest and what to do with the rest, read on: Spoiler (but only regarding which quests are meant for this stage of the game): You were already doing the "Out of Time" quest. it's the one that updated with "Go home" at 2:13:00. This is the only quest you should be doing - completing it will unlock new quests AT THAT TIME that are level-appropriate. Every other quest that appeared in your journal when you exited the Vault are too hard and too far away to do them right now - they are meant for much later in the game and Bethesda should not have overwhelmed you with all these inaccessible quests at this time. Hope that helps.
It sucks because the Skyrim guys in Bethesda fixed this deal by making the Creation Club content only activate when discovering points of interest. A note in a tavern, a bounty board, meeting a certain person, instead of flooding you with all the quests at the start. Ah well... Ive got most of the quest oriented stuff for the CC in Fallout 4, when I do a new play, after leaving the vault I usually just stand still and let it cycle through before moving on.
Seeing the state of this game post-update makes me mad. I don't know how someone at Bethesda did this and thought it was okay. The whole introduction experience of the game is now cluttered up with junk!
After watching you play Starfield and Mass Effect, you played this EXACTLY the way I expected. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your playthrough!
How COOL! Your blind Skyrim playthrough was pretty awesome--- Fallout 4 has been my literal favorite for years; I'm eager to see you wander the wasteland!
honestly, I don't think it was a "goal", just one of the "possible outcomes". Anything from revolt to suicide to cannibalism, all outcomes that "could" happen from any one of these experiments. I feel so many of there experiments are just "here is a scenario, let's see what happens". literally "bold strategy cotton"

First time finding you as a creator. Im also a British that is accused of being American frequently. I love this. I've played soooo many hours of fallout 4 and it's been fun watching you explore
2:12:40 These quests didn't exist until a few weeks ago. They were added as part of Bethesda's recent next gen patch. I feel like they should have waited until level 5, or something like that, before showing all those pop ups to avoid confusion of what the real first quest is supposed to be.
Bethesda: "Stagger quest triggers? For DLC? Like we did with other DLC in this very game? Naahhh! Throw them all at the player as soon as they start like we did in FO3!"
When you were saying to yourself, “they’re all dead,’ I kept saying to the screen, “they’re all dead, Dave.” Then, just a few minutes later, you said the same thing! Love the Red Dwarf reference, LOL. I live in Alaska, not British at all, but I looooove Britcoms and British period dramas.
justs discovered your channel. You gain a sub immediately i really love the way you play so slow and you take the time to look at every little details in the tutorial. Thats how i also play Fallout games 😁
I mean if you had followed the quest and gone home MAYBE you wouldn't have had to fend off a dog so early in the game :p Also while I'm 100% with you on hating to hurt dogs even in a videogame I would still argue that a wild dog would attack you if he was hungry.
Damn, I'd love to be able to play Fallout 3 for the first time again, what a time ! Watching this video reminded me of when I was in school, you talk like a teacher.

I always cry at the end of the opening cutscene
Welcome to the Insanity that is Fallout where every conspiracy theory you ever thought off is true.
Kolo as a veteran fallout player welcome to the community i hope you will like the series.
ahhh im so excited to watch you do this playthrough. i absolutely LOVED your starfield playthrough
Casually the best verbal "rewind" sound effect ever recorded. 1:55:43
Not a spoiler:
At 2:13:40 you seem a bit overwhelmed by the sudden dump of so many quests all at once.
Bethesda sort of broke their game a month ago.
It used to be you got exactly one quest.
Then a month ago they added a bunch of totally optional player-made quests and stupidly set them all up to launch when you open the vault.
If you want to know which one is the original quest and what to do with the rest, read on:
Spoiler (but only regarding which quests are meant for this stage of the game):
You were already doing the "Out of Time" quest. it's the one that updated with "Go home" at 2:13:00.
@@DraconX3 Yeah.
The bad part is how confusing it is for new players.
Seeing the state of this game post-update makes me mad. I don't know how someone at Bethesda did this and thought it was okay. The whole introduction experience of the game is now cluttered up with junk!
I still remember the joy I felt when I first played this, entered my name and codsworth said it. Blew my mind
Regarding the skeleton (puns) at the vault exit ---- looks like the poor fellow wanted to leave, but just didn't have the guts.
Great to see your first reactions to a Fallout game, cant wait for Ep2.
My favorite game, watching Kolo play character creator.
That inspector gadget tune was instant.
I think Vault-Tec's real experiment was to see if the staff would resort to cannibalism on the frozen residents
honestly, I don't think it was a "goal", just one of the "possible outcomes". Anything from revolt to suicide to cannibalism, all outcomes that "could" happen from any one of these experiments. I feel so many of there experiments are just "here is a scenario, let's see what happens". literally "bold strategy cotton"
Beautiful. You are brilliant at reacting to everything, a genuine heart and emotion and attention to detail that you offer that hits just right. Thank you for being you. I hope you enjoy the rest of the game! Thank you for sharing~
Look who's decided to jump on the Fallout train! Welcome!😄
This is so exciting! I enjoyed watching you play Skyrim in the past, and I, too, know nothing about any of the Fallout games. I am glad that you have found a way to be able to play games☺️… looking forward to seeing how this game goes! hugs from Colorado 🥰
"Everybody's dead, Dave"
Boys from the dwarf!!
When you open youtube while you're on break at work and a new Kolo Video shows up, you know it's going to be a good day =) hopefully I can catch another livestream soon, I miss the Kolony
So, when's the next episode airing? Genuinely can't wait.
It's all on Twitch in a dedicated playlist! Just follow the link in the video description.
Love the commentary! Wish I could play this game again for the first time.
Found you through your Skyrim playthrough! Was the best lets play I ever watched! Lets enjoy this one as well :)
Hi! It's great to meet you! Hope you enjoyed ep 1! The link to the rest of the episodes is in the pinned comments when you're ready too! Enjoy the ride! ❤️
“Where’s the ethics?” Vault-Tec: “Yeah, we don’t really do that here.”
Hey! I haven't seen one of your vids come up in my recommended since the Elite: Dangerous days. Kind of forgot about you. Sorry. lol. Good to see you playing another one of my faves!!!
I've replayed this section so many times, and I've never seen the overseer skeleton do that. I think the game was actively trolling Kolo.
Kolo is far too sweet and innocent for fallout 😍 I feel she may end up emotionally traumatised 😪
First time finding you as a creator. Im also a British that is accused of being American frequently. I love this. I've played soooo many hours of fallout 4 and it's been fun watching you explore
"I don't want to waste my bullets"... Two seconds later : "John Woo mode on"
2:12:40 These quests didn't exist until a few weeks ago.
Seeing you play a new game always gives me so much serotonin ❤
I believe there are mods that replace hostile dogs with something else, if memory serves. If that is of interest.
Can't wait for her to meet a certain somebody 😆
Woman: "Im not gonna attack the dog!"
Dog: "Oh? Fine by me!" 😂😂😂
"No help, no hints, no backseating" Ooohwee im in for a good series 😊😊😊
Only 2:30 in and you’ve already won me over. Subscribed!
Have we said it ALL? LMAO 😂 I'm going to have to try this game out. I too, know nothing about it.
justs discovered your channel. You gain a sub immediately i really love the way you play so slow and you take the time to look at every little details in the tutorial. Thats how i also play Fallout games 😁
I'm watching you from the Philippines, moved here from Boise Idaho,USA
I mean if you had followed the quest and gone home MAYBE you wouldn't have had to fend off a dog so early in the game :p
Also while I'm 100% with you on hating to hurt dogs even in a videogame I would still argue that a wild dog would attack you if he was hungry.
This is just beautiful :>
hey Kolo , new to your channel. enjoying your enthusiasm, I played this game a few times, many years ago, enjoy
The "is that a hotdog!?" on codsworth killed me 😂 if I hadn't subbed before that, I'd have subbed just for that
Wow, at this rate, this is a 1000-hour playthrough.
Welcome to "The Kolo Way" LOL
Damn, I'd love to be able to play Fallout 3 for the first time again, what a time !
Watching this video reminded me of when I was in school, you talk like a teacher.
hey if you ever end up downloading any mods 1 big suggestion i recommend is full dialog interface. changes the short 1-3 word prompts to what your character is really going to say. out of the mods i use it is the only one i consider a must have.
This is a game where you check every nook and cranny for useful items... USEFUL... Items.
I've played this game so many times (and seen the opening even more times) and today I learned there are appointments written on the calendar on the fridge.
Fun fact . When the game first launched you could call the vault tech number on the fridge and get a message saying your wait time was so many millions of minutes
Codswollop come with me, lmao.
