This video was so helpful, many thanks. I have watched it several times trying to notice where you hand (and eye!) moves next. This is often a critical issue for me. Where to go next, how soon to start shading, when to go back and access angles (again and again!) Your generosity and knowledge are deeply appreciated by this novice. Keeping calm and (with your help) carrying on. ❤
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad it's been helpful. You're right, it is a challenge knowing just when to advance to the next stage in your drawing. In time, and with practice, you'll develop that gut instinct that will guide you. That said, there is always that little exhilarating feeling like standing on the edge of a cliff. All I can say is take the plunge, the worst that can happen is you mess up and it's a learning experience 🙂
Really enjoying your videos.
Thank you, that means so much!
