I used to also until I messed around with G Manufactur colour options and immediately fell in love with the desert sand never thought I would prefer any other colour over black its natural colour.
I love this car not only for the looks but Mercedes craftsmanship and safety precautions. They have made it one of the safest cars on the road and it also passed the crash test with flying colours.
I’ve always been hearing people criticizing G Wagons but DAMN this definitely is a must own car for me! Hopefully in 10 years or so they will lose on value and i’ll be able to get one for a decent price. Very good review sir, glad to be subscribed!
Got news for you, make it 20 years, since G Wagons are always hot in the market, thanks to the amount of celebs that drive them. You basically have a 2 year waiting list to buy one new, that's how hot they are

I'm still sticking to what I've been saying for years now. The G-Wagon with proper off road wheels and tires would probably do just as well, if not better, than a stock Rubicon. However, 99.9% of these never even see a dirt road lol. Beautiful vehicle though and it's refreshing to see it in another color besides black/silver/white. The red looks amazing. Definitely the color I'd go with if I were to ever order one....which is going to be never lol. I can dream though.
I've a a 2015 G-Wagon and a 2020 unlimited Rubicon. Both are crazy capable but I would never take my G off-roading. That's why I bought the Rubi...lol.
I was driving through a little snowstorm today and this G-Wagon was behind me towing a trailer and that thing just plowed past me through the snow like a tank xD
I love how MB made all of the necessary changes to catapult this G Wagon into the modern era. I bet those who bought new 2016 and 2017 models are kicking themselves now because the newest ones are better.

Great review! Would love to see you review the 20/21 Range Rover Sport SVR to compare notes. I considered the two heavily and ended up ordering an SVR which is due for delivery next month. Both to me are the ultimate expressions of luxury, performance, and capability in the SUV sector.
