- Telling the story of the Wicked Witch of the West, the musical Wicked is coming to us as a movie soon, and we have LEGO sets! This one Glinda & Elphaba’s Dormitory (where the iconic song Popular takes place) 75683 is absolutely stunning and makes me long for a Victorian-style mansion in LEGO form. It folds up into a travelling trunk, with a hat box on the top for random storage of things, a rose and Elphaba's bottle. If you didn't know there was a whole bedroom inside, you'd still find a lot of joy just looking at the lovely display that it makes all closed up.

I tend to geek out about new pieces, get excited about learning new and interesting building techniques, giggle too much and just generally ramble. I do like the detail of how the set comes with two extra outfits, but it’s just the outfits no extra heads or hair at all very clever idea

Such a lovely set! I seriously consider buying this because the box looks so elegant, so smooth. I love that you can tidy it all up so it doesn't get dusty. This Victorian-but-not-quite style of the build is amazing. ~Wavey ;)

This is my favourite of the wicked set, feels like a detailed version of of the disney flower pots where you have outside display and inside scene. This version is more concentrated on inside but still makes nice display when closed.
You should try to make a Victorian mansion in Lego! You could go off some haunted mansion sets!

I wasn't sure if I'd like this set because it's a box, but it's pretty nice, and it's open and spread out which is good for photos. I still wish it was a building though.

Without the holes on the top, I don't know how they'll enter the world of Gabby's Dollhouse.
On one hand great figs and minibuilds
On other hand bricks wasted on parts that are not for minifigs (That bottle and whole case)
That Beds builds are AWFUL though, WHat were they thinking? They are WAY too tall and you cant even put figs on one of them xD
*cries* you'd better believe there's an incoming ramble! It's so beautiful, just LOOK at it, look at THEM! The outfit could well be Elphaba's dance outfit, I think she does just go in her normal clothes plus the hat.
But - I want ten of these! The rose on top is just 🥹 I need to leave photos of this set all over so when my partner inevitably says "but you're so hard to buy presents for" I can just keep pointing.
The movie is sooo soon (and Moana 2 just a week after - I keep having to pinch myself) and only 💖 FIVE 💚 DAYS until I'm seeing the musical again, which I'm semi worried about because I'll have a fresh baseline expectation for the film but gotta just keep saying it's transformative, not a carbon copy, it'll be fine and the wait for part 2 will be FINE.
Anyway hasn't it been an incredible year for Lego?? Zelda, Wicked, all the beautiful new but also nostalgic things.
