That is why YG artists are so sequestered. They can't get ideas from the music of others if they are not allowed to listen to other music. All they get to hear is what the company tells them they can listen to, and the company prefers if they only listen to what the company has already put out or really REALLY OLD stuff (Elvis, Janis Joplin, Bach, Beethoven, etc). Bitch about SM all you want. YG is worse. Cube is bad. BBC is bad. Stone...meh. Really difficult to find a GOOD company that is actually on top of current things. Happyface and their sub-label DreamCatcher Company seem to be doing well in both areas.
