I used to be horrible about impulse spending! I think I was trying to make up for something I felt lacking in my life. Very honestly since I started watching you and a few others that have taught me about being frugal, I've realized nothing I purchase can make me as fulfilled as Knowing I'm being frugal in order to plan for my future!
You got this!
👏 👏 👏 👏 Bravo!!
Keep it up! ❤😊
I used to go to a café every Thursday for 30 minutes while my son was at his speech therapy session. They had the best Earl Grey tea I ever had (it's called Nunshen) and it cost 3.5 euros. It was my moment and although expensive I didn't mind to pay. Then few months ago I came, ordered my tea and the price went up to 4.5€. It just felt ridiculous and I never came back. Now I'm taking tea or coffee in a mini thermos and wait at the therapist's waiting room. I saved some money ever since, and I happy about it, I'm proud of myself for finding out it was just a habit and I'm not deprived, it's really not important at all. My frugal muscles are definitely getting stronger :)
Glad that's working
This was a very compassionate video, and a good message. I was just saying to my husband i need a line in our budget to treat my elderly parents now and then. The cost of living crisis has really changed what they're able to afford now.
That's a perfect line in the budget
👏👏👏 As someone who was head of a women's centre for decades, how I wish I could have bottled up your message and hand it out for free. It's so true, you are absolutely great just as you are, aging as a woman is a testament to our lived experience and wealth of knowledge. That is to be celebrated, not erased in overspending trying to regain a youth that's past. Fabulous video!
Thanks so much for your feedback
I am aging now, and I watch my friends ( in our 60s and 70s) look slightly ridiculous as they try to 'stay young' with hair cuts; putting on latest fashion make up; buying trendy clothes; cheap fashion jewelry. I feel sad for them. They are lovely as they are and have fabulous stories and a wealth of knowledge to share. When did growing gracefully or, at least, disgracefully, become a thing. Where did this cult of worshipping youth come from? Oh wait! From advertisers for profit for large corporations!
Jane, I really love your attitude towards women's aging. I don't impulse buy trying to look younger but have had a bit of "accepting" to do with menopause. I appreciate the kick in the pants! It's just life and a great privilege to grow older.
It certainly is
I used to be a shopaholic. About 5 years ago I went to the Action and bought a big load of knickknacks and when I came home and sat down for a little while I realized I did it again. The next day I went back to the Action and returned everything. The cashier was surprised to get everything back and asked me why I returned everything, so I just told him that I was a shopaholic and that I had to return it from myself. He just said okay and gave me my money back but I felt so terrible about it that I have never ever impulse bought again. Now I first think about how I’m feeling before going to shop, make a list and keep to the list. Whenever I feel that I’m not feeling well I just don’t enter shops.
I understand that. If I feel bored that can sway me but I get myself back on track
Well done. That is difficult to do!
Hi to you both. I am guilty of buying on impulse . My eldest grandson has just won a place in a prestigious University to do his Masters degree. It has given me the impetus to save everything l can to help him achieve his dream . I have bought a tin that has to be opened with a tin opener, so the temptation to use the money for something that l probably dont need isnt there. It is a challenge .
Happy savings
I used to be an impulse shopper. After getting into trouble with debt, I finally learned to discern between a want and a need. Now, even when shopping at thrift stores (charity shops), I bring a list. It's helped tremendously.
It focuses our purchasing
I love the idea of “I’m having a terrible week at work” budget! Especially since I just had a terrible week at work! Stress can so easily undermine months of hard work so better plan for that moment.
I hope things improve. They employ you, they don't own you.
I have 2 decompensating coping habits: overspending OR overeating. I have to monitor both. I reduced my impulse purchases (allowance, gasoline and dining out) by 21% this quarter. My goal was 10%, and will be this coming quarter.
Tried a new diet and gained 10# in 2 months. Stopped it and have lost 2--ever onward!
Keep on moving forward
Today's video really struck home. I am a terrible impulse buyer. I really need to work at not doing it. I am a charity/thrift store shopper, but also have major depression, which I have been working on for decades. It's hard, but that dopamine rush you get when purchasing something is now switching to a dopamine rush when I bypass the thrift. It's still not quite as satisfying as digging around for treasures (treasures that I forget about when I get home), but the satisfaction is growing. You two are serious yet upbeat people, and I would not have guessed you too have days like my weeks or months. It's one thing to say you're not in this alone, but another to internalize it. Much appreciation to you for opening up and sharing about how you go through these periods, too. ❤❤❤
We're only human. When we're on our 'mental health' walks we remind ourselves that we'll feel better afterwards
I am so sorry you have to deal with that struggle! Your use of the analogy of digging around for treasures for the dopamine hit made me wonder if you may get a similar hit rediscovering things by going through the stuff you've bought in the past by decluttering and organizing. I know how difficult it can be to even consider starting such a project in general, but especially when it's already a challenge to just handle the daily stuff. Perhaps, if you framed it in your mind as each drawer is a treasure chest and you have to dig through the "sand" (stuff to donate/give/toss) to get to the "pearls" (the goodies you really want to keep), maybe it would provide enough of a thrill to get the dopamine flowing. I know, for me, keeping my "mistakes" in the house just makes it worse for me and the clutter they create makes every aspect of my life more difficult as if my house is silently screaming at me everything I've done wrong or still need to do. Instead, every item out quiets my mind, every item given or donated makes me feel good for giving to others, and every organized space feels refreshing and makes the little daily bits of life easier. I wish you all the best on your journey!
Similar here. There’s nothing like a good thrift shop lol. I’ve learned to put the item in my cart and then just before checkout, going through the cart and asking myself if I still need it. The days that I can stay home when depressed and finding something positive to do are growing
We completely understand the feeling blah, the past week has been rough at best. My husband felt so frustrated with a project that he just wanted to cry, and at that exact moment my eye health demanded attention, with a concern, so while frazzled we took a break between 2 appointments we got burgers and root beer and laughed off our rough week, agreeing that we might have needed that time out, more than we needed. We agreed to deduct the cost from our food budget for the burgers and root beer, tightening our belts for the remainder of the month, and consider that a mental well being spend. We reminisced about our weeks struggles and laughed 🤣 😆 and then we let go of the weight of the stress.
Still cheaper than a weekend away
@@FrugalQueeninFrance Our thoughts exactly!
I have it in my budget to head to the indoor mall once a month to walk, have a coffee, and have yogurt, and do some window shopping.
Good for you
What a great video. I give myself $5 to spend impulsively at the thrift store, usually on something I can "play with" by sanding, painting, decoupaging, etc. When you were talking about comparing oneself to celebrities and other influencers, I had to agree. Before hopping on your channel, I had watched a video about influencers misleading and outright lying about their timelines so their followers think they keep superhuman schedules while looking fab. Then the followers think they're falling short and need to "up their game" with products and services. It's a constant battle. I finally backed away from a minimalist community because it promoted a donate-acquire-donate cycle.
I hope you stay with our community.
I definitely will! You're on my short list of frugalistas who teach something new, reinforce frugal habits, and have consistently positive comment sections.
I am ashamed to admit that Impulse spending is a natural reaction for me. I think every reason you mentioned has been a reason for me to impulse spend 😩
At the moment, I'm very aware I'm lacking in self esteem and feeling very insecure so trying my hardest to not go off the rails with spending. However, i confess that yesterday I impulse bought a summer dress. Yes it's beautiful and yes I have accounted it in my April budget so it's okay, but if I'm really being honest, I probably wouldn't have bought it if I was feeling a bit more confident with myself. Going forward, I'm going to try and take on board your tips to pause and reflect before spending instantly. Also work on the confidence and self worth 💪
Chantelle, you have worth, you matter, you're smart, you're important and you make the world better
I 100% agree with everything Jane said in her message to you!
Chantelle, dear, wear this dress with pride! You have budgeted for it and it makes you feel beautiful. No excuses needed.
Thank you Jane for making us understand the origin of our shopping impulses. A good idea would be to agree with a friend, to call on the phone when we have a buying impulse, or when this friend will be in the same case, to help each other through a friendly conversation to share an opinion about a book or a movie or an anecdote that makes us laugh.
This will surely make us pass this impulsive moment, where we lose ground, to better return to the essentials and respect his budget while raising self-esteem. Friendship and mutual aid are priceless, it is precious.
Great tips
Good evening, Jane. Wise words as usual and true. I think there is no human on Earth/ including me/,that didn't have an impulse shopping at some stage. Sadness, anxiety, being bored, trauma, killing time, bla bla whatever the reason. But really, it's not worth it and it's not a solution. It"s to mask the real issue. I think Everyone Can overcome this. Courage to those on that path. 💪🍀
I wish them well too
Thanks for your encouragement.
I used to be a shopaholic especially with Ebay. Retirement was approaching and not long after I started watching your frugal channel..it really has helped me curb my spending. I plan needed purchases and save money now. You and Michael are awesome on your videos. 😊
You're very welcome and we wish you well with your frugal journey
We are all impulse buyers! Companies made us that way. So feel very proud of yourself every time you decline the impulse purchase. Be kind to yourself and don't be upset when you slip up. We learned how to shop via marketing, ads, etc. and we have to take time to unlearn those habits. Every small victory is important and helps you keep more money for other uses.
Well said
Great video today, Jane! Yes, I have had seasons of impulse spending, especially on clothes. My underlying emotion at the time was grief. I had lost a baby and felt absolutely worthless as a woman. Thankfully, I have healed from that and didn't continue in my bad spending habit as a way of coping. ❤
Grief is deep and raw
Recovered impulse spender here! I home educate our children and we focus a lot on life skills. They have a monthly allowance and that’s theirs to do as they wish with. We’re about 3 years into it now and I’m really starting to see the fruits of my labour. The children are able to discuss money and budgeting better than I could even 2 years ago and it’s helped my naturally impulsive son (adhd) in so many ways.
Something I also do is let them know that their wants and needs are important so if they say they’d like to do horse riding lessons every week for example and that’s outside of our activities budget we discuss what we can manage even if that’s a sinking fund for a twice yearly pony trek. Or if there’s a food they like but it’s not something we can have in abundance again we collaborate and see how it can factor in our budget. We don’t have an endless budget AND your wants and needs are important so let’s work it out together…the perfect antidote to parental guilt debt!
I have had a problem with impulse spending but I have done a much better job so far in 2024 in keeping it in check. Thanks for the reminder to be mindful all the time.
Good luck and I wish you well
Last Friday I had a really tough JCQ “exams ready” inspection. As I left school I thought I’m going to get fish and chips for tea. As I traveled back home I knew I had food at home. By the time I got home I had persuaded myself not to get the takeaway and bought a bar of chocolate instead
Great job of talking yourself out of it especially as those inspections are invasive!
@@FrugalQueeninFrance it was brutal!
I have 2 little nephews. I try to send them used books for most holidays and a little cash.
Oh my gosh, I was an impulse buyer, my thinking was well, we may need that... We never did !! In my old age I certainly changed for the better. Wish I had 30 years ago.
We all wished that at some time
I have the habit of looking at photo's of friends on holiday and thinking how come I'm not on a cruise...I've never seen a post where they say we didn't have the money for this cruise and now have to pay interest on our credit cards which are already maxed out with the last cruise we went on haha
Exactly!
A friend of mine has a gentleman companion ( boyfriend at their age sounds ridiculous) and has been on a cruise every year since he retired. This year, they are going on a month long trip - she is having to cut back ( when he isn't around - they live about 40 miles apart) quite drastically to afford the cruise. I'm not sure she really wants to go. It's a bit of keeping up with the Joneses I think. Other people's expectations huh?
Hi Jane, I love your channel! It's like a hug from over the "pond". My splurge was a industrial longarm quilting machine. I started a business with it in 2008 and still going. So my splurge turned into a business expense. I paid it off in 3 yrs. Just as expensive as our SUV 😮!
That is awesome!
I impulse spend when I don't have a clear savings goal. Even if it's only a few dollars a week, mentally, I need to feel like there is a dream in the making bit by bit. I have dreamer art brain, but am quite practical. I want taxes, utilities, food etc. covered. I have saved up for, or sold unused items, to pay cash for another section of fencing. Its hard to feel relaxed in my beautiful back garden where people can see in and then start talking about what I consider my oasis of sanity, not intended for uninvited guests , stray dogs, or opions. 😊 I need about $1,500 for next section. Im so excited to have our garden to ourselves I can barely stand. Will be sweeter not stressing over debt from it but paid for in cash. Dreams can come true with patience.
I wish you well.
When I was younger, I was not good at impulse spending and now well, I am a changed woman! I had a zero interest credit card with a small balance that I just paid off prior to it going from 0 to 27%! No way will I ever pay interest on a credit card. If I can't pay it off every month, they I don't buy it. Now just have a small mortgage I am paying down, then no debt. I can't wait for that day!
That's super
Every morning, while having my coffee is when I connect with almost all of my friends. Best time!
Love that!
Less vanity and a strict budget always helps.
That's great
Thank you for another great video. Some years ago when I was in a very good mood, my friend asked „oh, what did you buy today?“ These days are long gone. Right now, my husband and I are on a nice holiday in France and we enjoy the long walks, riding our bikes and having nice picknicks. Yes, we splurge a little, but we have a budget for it. We are staying in an Air’b’n’b. I prepare food (I love cooking) and we chose to walk 1.4km to park for free instead of renting a parking space for 14€ per day. And I would like to know about your frugal holidays. Maybe one holidays you can „take us with you“ to share your frugal holidays.
Thank you again for your great videos and sharing your thoughts. Take care.
We stayed in a rental just like you do
It amazes me how much I spent on makeup, hair and jewelry when I was still working! Now retired and in my 70s, I feel well dressed if I'm freshly showered and dressed in clean street clothes. And have a bit of moisturizer and sun block on!
Thrift stores were part of my entertainment once. Now I realize I am still over consuming.
I guessed that too
Great vlog, I sure can relate to a lot of the topics today. I have been on my extremely low buy, budget plan, since New Years, and watching videos help to keep me on track. I also read the comments, and that is useful to further understand why we spend, and also that I’m not alone in this journey.❤
Hi Jane and Mike. When in the workplace, the phrase - "after the week I've had, think I'm ready for a bit of retail therapy" was often used, me included. Since retiring I don't seem to feel the same about spending as I used to, mainly because my needs are less now, especially with items such as clothing. Yes, I agree that when feeling down there can be moments of weakness and that having money put aside for such is a good thing. Also, the pause before you buy habit has resulted in me putting certain items back on the shelf and walking away. This has sometimes been something that has caught my eye on the way out of a shop and not what I had actually gone in for. On occasion, I may have gone back and purchased that same item, but by then, I have at least had time to justify the purchase. Other times, I have done so, realised I didn't need it, then later, taken it back to the store. Thankfully this doesn't happen much now and more often than not, I stick to my list. Yes, it is nice to treat ourselves I know, but at the same time, I'd much rather it be spent on something worthwhile. Thanks to you both for sharing another great video. 🤗
Thanks very much
I am not an impulse buyer but have bought things I didn't really need in the past. I am quite disciplined with my spending but you are so right, we can be influenced by how we are feeling but that feel good factor is only temporary and the feelings are still there. Nice vlog, thank you
Thanks so much
Thank you! This was very encouraging and right-on-the-money!
You are so welcome
I used to overspend when feeling low in winter especially since I I tend to have mild seasonal depression. Usually it was books I splurged on. I found a way to feel better without spending literally by accident.
One year I tore a muscle in my back and was told to take a bath daily (I am more of a shower person).
I noticed that it actually lifted my Spirit. 😀 Now I keep a few bath salts at hand and as soon as my mood gets worse. I end up spending 90 cents on a fancy bath instead of 50 to 80 euros on a pile of books. 👍🏻
I love a hot bath in the winter
Thank you - very timely for me!
Adding a backyard deck today, we had saved for it.
How nice
thanks so much again ... Always love the doggie antics at the end. Think i have other impulses like - salty crunchy things to eat !
Glad you enjoyed it
Being good at frugal living.... resourceful, caring, responsible, thoughtful, independent and inspiring people. Just like all of you trying to live frugally by watching this video.
Thanks
Thank you, Jane. You're so inspiring!
You are so welcome!
Happy Easter. Thank you Jane Mike and Puppies.
Thank you too!
I enjoy all your videos, but this one was especially helpful for me. I don't impulse spend often anymore, but this video has given me some insight as to why I get that urge and what to do when it happens 😊
Glad it was helpful!
"Some days you're the dog, some days you're the lamppost".... Love this. I've always said "sometimes I'm the bug, sometimes I'm the windshield". I like your phrase better!!!!
So true!
In Germany we say „Mal biste Hund, mal biste Baum“ meaning „Some days you are the dog, some days you are the tree“. I say this a lot.
I’ve always heard the expression “Some days you’re the pigeon; some days you’re the statue.” 😅
All SO true, Jane! Thank you! 🙋♀️🥰🇺🇸‼️
Thanks for watching!
I used to impulse spend for a few reasons you mentioned: I was frustrated at work or even unhappy with the work I did, so I would go spend. I would also spend frivolously when I felt lonely and/or bored, and when I was stressed with my life or work.
Not good, I know. I no longer spend for those reasons but the impulse is still there. It’s just now I have the habit of waiting, or going for a walk instead or even calling my husband to talk it through/use him as a voice of reason. Thanks for the great video.
Talking it through really helps
I am just the opposite, I can put off buying something I need for months or years. I need new hiking shoes and my insurance company reimburses me for them but haven't bought them yet. The only impulse buy that I can remember in recent times is I saw a jumper that I thought would be adorable on my dog and it was the founders day sale at the feed and garden store so everything was 20% off so on the spur of the moment I bought it, she bounces when she wears it.
Thanks
Bonjour Jane et Mike.
Sitting in the car before I go into any shop😇 I have been using this technique for a while now.
I also pick something up I Think I want and walk around the shop with it for a while.
The just before I go to the till I ask my self Do I Really Won’t This.
The answer nine times out of ten is NO. So I put it back.
As I’ve said before we live in rural France and if you haven’t got in you go without, which can be a positive thing.
Hobbies I enjoy walking , but it’s RAINED a lot here too.
Reading, adult coloring books and cooking.
Exercising from U tube.
Xx😘💜💖
Sounds just like us
This was a great video Jane & really helpful & well put across, thank you for sharing.
Glad it was helpful!
❤️❤️all his so True after the death of my husband I spent almost 80 thousand of money for 10 years in a row just to fulfill the lost on clothes nick nack not anymore pass the feeling now knowing all the emotions around now ❤️❤️thank you love your insight ❤️❤️
Grief is raw.
What a very lovely film.
You are loved for who you are too!! Have a wonderful Easter.
Thank you! You too!
Thank you so much Jane I’ve watch the video wow so much informative some elements I need to get ride off of my impulse buying , much love for you Jane & Michael ❤
You can do it!
Thanks for valuable insight.
Glad it was helpful!
Good afternoon Jane and Mike i am late logging in today. Have a great Easter let’s hope the weather is kind to us.
I hope so too
As a retired teacher I identified with your description of the daily grind of my past life. Fortunately I didn't impulse buy however I did consume more alcohol - my "reward" at the weekends. I don't need that anymore. I enjoy your videos so much
I watched teachers drink regularly to self medicate. No profession should drive people to drink
A great video to help me stop and think before a buying anything unnecessary. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
👍👍👍
Getting so much better at the boredom or impulse spending.
That's good
Happy Easter to your family and the doggies.
Thank you
Great video, thanks for simple reminders. God bless.
You are so welcome!
love that video, some really useful tips there and spoken from the heart, thank you 😊
You're so welcome! I'm glad you liked it
Thank you for your insights.❤️
Thanks for watching!
Very well said, nothing is an impulse buy if it is budgeted for. I like eating out at nice restaurants, getting facials, seeing a movie but it is all budgeted for, there is nothing impulse about it and my one rule is I save into my various accounts first and what is left over is mine 😊
Absolutely!!
Love the dog or lampost analogy - not heard that one before - it did make me giggle! I am never bored - not enough time to do everything i want to do - let alone the stuff i have got to do! Re getting older, some of my friends (60s and 70s) are making themselves look ridiculous trying to look younger - from the extreme of botox ( which just made her look permanently surprised!) to buying trendy clothes and make up ( which made her look like mutton dressed as lamb). This doesnt mean dont be stylish and have fun but be yourself. When did we start to worship youthfulness rather than the wisdom of age? Oh that's right..... when it became profitable for large corporations 😂
I love your comments on expectations of looking and feeling good as we age, that’s so refreshing 😍 am enjoying trying out a few new looks for little cost by buying from charity shops and learning to “refashion” clothes as part of learning sewing machine skills. Within my allocated budget though 👍 Thanks Jane and Mike xx
Love that!
Good better with controlling impulse purchases as I have gotten older 😊
Good talk, thanks Jane and Mike 💐
Thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing
Another fabulous video today. We’re early retirees living in the Peloponnesus Greece. It’s so easy to get caught in that winter trap of shopping and eating out instead of finding new hobbies to fill our days until the beach calls again. But thanks to you guys we’ve broken out of that trap. You’re a real inspiration to us, I really look forwards to watching your videos. Veg patch calling now so Happy Easter fellow frugals 😎
Thank you and warm days will soon be here
Hello, I am watching you older videos and I would like to know what you mean by "No spending month"
What exactly are you not bying? I am just trying to understand your saving money sistem. Thank you!
Pay bills, pay for budgeted items such as a planned hair cut or car service, pay for food. No discretionary spending. That money goes to savings
Love the colour of the jumper on you. In the past, I've spent money that I thought I would get. Usually overtime, at work, that I usually " could count on" then it didn't happen. I've learned my lesson on that one. If it's in the bank, and budgeted for, then okay.
Oh thank you!
We have a Grandies sinking fund for some guilt free spoiling ❤
That's great.
Great video. Well thought out
Glad you think so!
Feeling lonely and trying to fill a void can lead to overspending.
Yes it can
Thank you Jane ❤
Love the video ❤❤❤
Thank you
❤❤❤
Brilliant show
Thanks so much
I love all your videos; this one is my favorite! ❤ I can really resonate with just about everything you mentioned.
I'm so glad!
Thank you Jane needed to hear this video today ,if been struggling recently with grief and being lonely living alone ,sometimes hard to get motivated and spending is like a crutch although I understand not helping anything.,my last purchase a box of crafts mixed from charity shop ,my intention to to this when having negative feelings ,I have enough to keep me busy for quite some time
I’m sorry to hear that
How timely! I was just thinking about this subject today and your message was spot on! Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Great podcast! Loved it❤❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
In retirement now and I don’t need much. I generally shop for just what I go to a store for so I don’t tempt myself to buy things I don’t need. If something doesn’t work out I immediately return it. Takes discipline but it’s my money so I need to protect it. Did buy some seed starting trays at Aldi’s because they were good price and I could save more money starting my own plants so it fit my priority but not a planned purchase. So I allow good buys that help save money
Good to hear that.
Thank you Jane for anither great.video. I have guilty Grandparent syndrome. I definitely more concious today of what I am doing. I will implement a grand child sinking fund for movies, museum or just for the extra gas, take a picnic and go to a provincial park.
You are so welcome!
Thank you for this video, I was about to spend 150 pounds on a pair of trousers that I really don't need x
Happy to help
For the algorithm, great video as always.
Much appreciated!
Do you have any suggested easy materials to read to help guide budgeting? I haven't been very good in my life and at loose ends......probably the way my brain works...... With listening to your great ideas and having materials to read I believe it would help a great deal.....thank you very much and happy day 😊 💜
There are many good youtube videos on how to set up a basic budget or develop sinking funds.
We put out our monthly budget video each month. Next week there will be our April budget video
In the last 5 years I have impulsed bought 2 campers at 3k each, well....ok. Heres the thing. I work for hotels, and at one point for a little over a year I lived at the hotel I worked for. During the first round I wanted a back up in case something went south. So it was a security measure. But I wish I wouldve saved that money. The 2nd time, when I moved, I didnt feel safe in my environment. So again, I bought a camper for 3k. It's a bit of a back up plan of mine, I suppose. I have recovered the money now. But I sure wish I hadn't pulled the money trigger. Until I was for sure I needed it. =/ I am in a good place now, and back on the road to recovery. But its been a long process. I still struggle w/ the emotions. Now, I consider it back up money w/o pulling the money trigger. I have learned, even though it was a hard lesson. It can always be worse, which isnt a challenge. But there it is....I still kinda wish I had saved my money & not spent it based on my emotions....
Thanks for letting me share
You're welcome and you sound that you're in a better place now
I could bring you shopping with me, and you can take items out of my cart and put them back on the shelf.
It’s interesting how millions of people work all week and then spend their weekend doing expensive outings, shopping, eating out, then heading back to work on Monday to pay for all the “stuff”; it’s a pointless cycle.
That’s a good explanation
The music in the background is distracting today. But great video otherwise!🎉
You can always watch without sound and subtitles. We live by a road so have to enhance the background sound so you don't hear tractors and refuse trucks.
I didn’t notice the music until you mentioned it.😅
@FrugalQueeninFrance I usually like your instrumental music in the background. But around the 10:30 minute mark you had a song with a male singer which was very distracting
Would it be subtitles only??
I wish I can give this video 100 likes❤
Thanks
Everyone is aging. It is just that a certain point it becomes much more apparent.
Which is totally ok. 👍
Good afternoon ❤️
Good afternoon to you too
I admit I grocery shop out of habit
Stock check before you go, meal plan to use what you have first and then only shop for what you need for meals.
@@FrugalQueeninFrance Thank you
Gift giving can actually be buying attention from your loved ones.
Oh that's so sad. Just awful. You matter just as you are. You never need to buy favourite.
Oh Jane I got those three quilts finished. I don’t know how people live without hobbies. I may have too many hobbies! I also can like Mrs. Lorie on whipporwill holler. Actually from her is where I heard about you! 😊Thank you Mrs. Lorie!
You’ve helped me use what I have and only buy what I need to finish a project.
I each Lori’s videos too. Congratulations on your quilting.
