TEBDF was not inducted in Indian navy,
Its development has just started, not even a prototype has been made. The plane shown in video was Tejas naval variant which is a single engine LCA and is also not inducted in the navy.
Currently navy only has mig 29, and is LOOKING for approx 50 aircraft for its new aircraft carrier. The 2 shortlisted contenders were f a/18 hornet and rafael m.
TEBDF, AMCA, Tejas mk2 and combat drones are Some of the projects undertaken by DRDO and will take more than a decade to complete.
Actually there are models of TEBDF which are on trial like F21 by Lockheed Martin and F/A 18 Super Hornets as well some indigenous models

When was TEDBF(Twin engine deck based fighter)induced in the NAVY? It’s still in underdevelopment and will have its first flight by 2026/27..
What was shown is also a test flight, yet to be inducted !
I was also thinking the same. But, one can argue that Mig-29K which is in service of the Indian Navy is also twin-engine aircraft. Maybe he is referring to that. He never said "indigenous" deck-based fighter.
Good observation.. My take is.. He is referring to Test flight of HAL Tejas on aircraft carrier.. But certainly TEDBF is under trials and will be inducted in NAVY..

It less army connect to another army so in a time of war they can cooperate more easily

Also it help them to check where they stand and what all type of equipment and arms they should add to their service so they can work effectively

Joint military exercises mainly promote 3 things-
1. Keeping each other updated on newest tactics and strategies in simulated environments.
2. Promote mutual trust and respect.
3. Geopolitical agenda.
Recent yudh abhuyas with us in uttrakhand intimidated China. They objected and maybe tawang face off was a reaction to this.

They don't want to resolve border issues intentionally. And often make gradual advances on border (which is yet to be demarcated) then claim they were there from the start.

Our new generation should stop the tradition of going at each others throat at every opportunity. Instead we should focus on growth, prosperity and mutual respect.
We still have a long way to go before being able to challenge China. Government (Ministry of Defence) needs to lay special emphasis on strengthening our Airforce & Navy. These are 2 forces that can significantly increase India's National Power and Force Projection capabilities.
Army lacks only in 2 areas-
1. Artillery Modernisation
2. Drones reqd. for Surveillance & Attacks.
Infact in Artillery, Indian Army has options in bulk from the Domestic Industry, from Dhanush to ATAGS to Mounted Guns Systems to even Ultra Light Howitzers- Only requires orders to be placed. So over here imports should be bare minimum like K9 Vajra.
However in Drones, we still have some way to go. Tapas BH 201 would to an extent fill the gap in MALE UAVs while Archer UCAV needs to be fastracked to carry out small low scale attack missions. Archer would play the role of Bayaktar for us. Addition of MQ9 along with Upgradation of Heron Drones under Project Cheetah are much required.
It's the Airforce & Navy, specially IAF that needs to be strengthened if we are to significantly increase our Offensive Firepower against China to create a sufficient deterrence. IAF lacks in almost everything (except Transport & Trainer Fleet) from depleting Sq. strength to low number of Force multipliers like AWACS & Refuellers.
Navy lacks in Submarines, Refuellers/Fleet Support Ships, Minesweepers and would be great if Navy can give repeat orders for atleast 3 more Scorpene Subs since P75I deal is kind of stuck right now.
Expecting some major deals to be signed. My top 5/6 weapon deals wishlist for 2023 are:
1. 100 Additional K9 Vajra Howitzers
2. 30 MQ 9 Reaper Drones
3. 26 Rafale M under MRCBF
4. 12 more Su 30MKI & 21 Mig 29UPG
5. 150 ATAGS (LSP)/ 5 Fleet Support Ships
If all 6 deals (including 2 deals in 5th option) are signed, we can expect Indian Armed Forces preparedness to reach a new high in the next 2-3 years.
Further expect induction of multiple indigenous Short Range Air Defence systems like QRSAM, VL-SRSAM & Akash Prime. These 3 along with Akash 1S & Spyder would greatly strengthen our Short Range Air Defence.
Although we would still have a long way to go before we catch up with China but in the short term (next 2-3 years) these would greatly strengthen our preparedness for a short conflict.
India's biggest weakness is the Holy Cows.....

As a former Kenya Army service man who has trained with Indian forces, I can attest that Indian army is largely incompetent. The only competent guys I ever met were US green berets. India and South African forces are all incompetent. Sorry 😔

The most well trained and hardened army in the world is the Colombian army. Colombia trains the armies of more than 10 latinoamerican nations and has been in real combats every week for the last 50 years. The British and Americans learn from the Colombian Jungle fighting experience. Colombia has over 25 guerrilla and terrorist groups dedicated to narcotics, kidnapping and warfare against the civilian population and the state.
Due to the diverse geography in India, Indian army fights in all kinds of terrains. Jungles, mountains, deserts, islands, ocean, marsh lands, villages etc. And also differentl scales, from small skirmishes, to large scale wars. All other armies have their strengths and specialities.
