I was soooooo lucky to shake his hand when he came to Beijing for publicizing his new film 1987, and I still can picture that shocking exciting moment in my mind! He's still looking so young even in his 50s! I have only read short pieces of information about Alain, he was a man who was used to getting his own way. Yes I do believe he was truly in love with Romy Schneider, something that unfortunately he didn't realise until she passed away. He was one of the first actor's to take shares in his film's, which in turn made him more money, than he was actually paid for his part. I saw Alain Delon once in a mediocre Hollywood film "Scorpio", and thought he was the best thing in the film. The fact that he was French and English was not his first language, only made him more appealing.
Delon is not as rich as you say..first he lost quite a lot of money by producing some films which were not successful..that's why he had to sell most of his art collection
