An interesting person. Delon spent much of his youth as a "bad" boy, somewhat privileged because of his looks, but able to candidly admit his shortcomings. As an actor, he's not bad ( depending on the vehicle). He has a good speaking voice and I am always impressed by Europeans who master English so well.
Let’s face it when your genes are that good it’s not possible for one to do many wrongs. Good looks can get one far easier but can also be difficult if you really want to be taken seriously as an artist. I think Brad Pitt and Johhny Depp worked hard to overcome the good looks stigma.

Alain Delon was not a suspect nor was he ever accused of being directly responsible for the murder of his "bodyguard", he was not even in Paris when the murder took place, he was "under investigation" , the Police were convinced he knew a lot more about who was responsible than he was willing to divulge to them so they hauled him in a few times for some tough questioning but he refused to co operate or offer any information. Markovic was found tied up in a sack on a rubbish dump on the outskirts of Paris with a bullet through the back of his head. One plausible theory is that President Pompidou ordered his murder because he and his wife were being blackmailed by him, there is some credence to that theory. The murder remains unsolved.

peter58peter Oh I get what you mean. I think the most tragic part about the guys that hung around Alain Delon and his group, were that most of them grew up on the streets. Meaning they all came from broken homes, so they never knew what healthy love was. They basically used their bodies to sell to rich and powerful people, or to fight with, and get the most money for. So yeah, I wouldn’t be surprised if Alain used his body in the same way to survive as he grew up, and even up until he became an actor to get the best roles :/
