I did the same thing. Had the bike one day and was taking a picture, and it fell over. My heart broke!!! I now always leave it in first gear and no further issues.
I did the same thing. Luckily I was standing right next to it and caught it before it hit the ground. Scared the shit out of me and now it sits in a wheel chock in the garage.
I have this same bike sitting in my garage with ZERO miles on it.. About another 6 weeks till weather here in the northeast turns and roads get cleaned up. I feel like I’ve rode now!
If you gort the exect same bike as the guy in the video i mean 25th aniversary one, never sell it there are only 300 in the whole world i have the exect same one and will never sell it
@@leonmihanovic3426 yes I do got 1500 mile on it now.. the 300 number is suspect though if ya do research.. Pretty sure there are more.. none the less I’m keeping it till my son inherits it or it takes me to the grave!!☠️💀😂😂
I’ve only been a GSXr 750 & liter rider yet have always appreciated the ‘busa for both its historical notoriety and what it is when witnessing a few of my homeboys ride them 🔥
Well … I keep my bike in 1st gear when I cut it off . I push it far as it goes forward till it stops . Then I put my kickstand Down .. That’s the Key .. My bike as Never Fell in 3 months ..
I bought my 22 Busa last September, as I parked it in a decline and got up the bike fell over. Thankfully just few scratches but that was literally an hour after I got the bike. This big boy wants straights only lol
As a Hayabusa owner there’s never ever ever any time I don’t one make sure the ground she’s on is leaning the right direction then check and re check that one the stand is in the correct extended position but as well as leave in 1st gear and rolled foward so it can never have the chance of doing this.. was horrible to see.. sorry for this .. wasn’t a cheap one .. nice bike
You're one heck of a great motorcycle reviewer you have great awareness you absolutely shame professional motorcycle reviews as in motorcycle a motor cycle world and other professional Outlets. I have a Gen 2 bike and within a few days of ownership the bike fell over in the garage. I could and probably did cry my eyes out. However, once you’ve dropped your baby like this you NEVER forget so I am extra careful when out and about and always put her in 1st gear when on the stand. I also carry a small puck to help with any doubtful road or gravel surface. Owning a Busa is quite special. Alongside my 1250 GSA BMW the finish and standard of workmanship on the Busa is in a different league. Like comparing a Timex with a Rolex. Greetings from London.
What a weird problem. I've dropped my Multi twice, not the fault of the kickstand. Both times I was on an unfamiliar road and dumped it trying to stop to take pictures on the side of an uneven road.
wish i kept my 19 busa but im 6ft 1 and wife and I couldnt get comfort on it so now ride a slow harley but its comfort. i do miss the cheaper price for them though compared to my harley
Has anyone found a good alternative to the side stand? I've heard of issues while in neutral on any sort of Incline she wants to go down. That's the first time I've seen it.. that was hard to watch brother. I have the 23 Grey and red one. I'm in love ❤️ 😊
Mine (also a 23 grey and red) went down less than a week into ownership! My tip is to never park it in a decline surface, if you have to, put it in gear and go forward till it hits the gear. Slight inclines are ok.
Nothing wrong with the stand - pure carelessness … dont leave it on incline in neutral and stand not clicked in position . Its bloody common sense !!! i have had 5 Busas ( all 3 generations) - it has never fallen.
There is a Hardly Davisin Dealership representative at Wesley Chapel Hardly Davisin that claims this exact year Hayabusa is extremely uncomfortable, that it causes severe back pain. Can you imagine? These Hayabusas are known for their ability to tour cross-country.
Use your brain. They would have said the same thing about any sports bike cuz they don’t ride or follow them, so Harley riders are not aware of the differences between the models. I have embarrassed a few Harley riders by showing them how to sit on a sport bike properly and to keep their hands (virtually, I’m not a Pro) weightless. Most people don’t even know how to sit on a sports bike properly.🙌🏻🦾☝🏻🏍️😇🙏🏻
My bike isn't quite as fast at the peak as the Hayabusa. My 16 Multistrada makes "only" 150 or 160 HP, depending on whether you believe Ducati's marketing. All I know is it's fast as hell and shifting is mostly about making it more calm on the highway than anything you need to do to keep accelerating. I could pin the throttle and row the gears on a 600 regularly, but on a 1200+, not really. They're probably all just kind of faster than you know what to do with.
Daily Motor, let's say that I wanted to install a 5.5" or 6" TFT display and replace the display that comes with the bike. Is there an actual way of doing that with this bike? Lastly, California or places like it(like Hawaii for example), are notorious for stopping motorcycle riders even if they are riding within the speed limit..
Am so sorry you dropped it. Did you have it repaired? It's an awful feeling. But just that fact makes me tentative about getting one. They are damn heavy and should you park on an incline you also open yourself to not being able to 'reverse'. It's like you need a reverse gear on it. There's one other thing that bothers me about this otherwise astonishing bike. It's that to me it feels like the rear tyre is too small/thin. I think it should be 200. Just makes it look odd from the back being slimmer.
Ho man!.... I felt your pain as your bike fell over.... you poor guy. I to have a anniversary 25th edition also.... Just wondering..... have you had your bike repaired?? Safe riding my friend.
I always keep mine in gear and if the surface isn t flat I keep the front on the incline direction. This bike should ve had a center stand. I NEVER trust the side stand.
Why do you go between cars at stop lights - or any other time for that matter - that is an asshole move and you could get really hurt if someone comes over on you.
It's entirely legal and encouraged in California. It reduces congestion and vastly reduces the chance of me being rear ended, and it doesn't hurt anyone.
What nonsense are you talking- why would anyone “ come over on you “ fonm standing cars?? Of course you pay attention to surroundings like in all other times . As i understand in most USandA this is not legal for whatever stupid reason. Well - in rest of the workd has more important issues to be concerned with - bikes filtering through are good for bikers and society in general in cities as it reduces congestion

Same man smh thought I was the only one
I've been riding for decades and for some reason always leave all my bikes in gear when I park them. My friends hate it 🤣🤣🤣
Excuse me… this is a special anniversary motorcycle and that’s the best they could do for a kick stand 🤯
I did the same thing. Luckily I was standing right next to it and caught it before it hit the ground. Scared the shit out of me and now it sits in a wheel chock in the garage.
I have a 2022 black/gold model. Always come to a stop, put the kick stand down in gear. Never an issue with tip over. That was painful to watch.

That tip over was painful. First thing with this Bike is Frame sliders, lots easier to put on than Gen 1 & 2
And I put about 2000 miles on it before I took the exhaust off. What a huge difference.
I would leave it stock, if I had to add exhaust I wouldn’t put 2 into one for sure. It would definitely be 2 into 2🙏
@runfromdoctors why 2 in to 2? The weight savings alone is worth it
I meant 4 into 2, looks great , I did mine with the youshi carbon
@@Jay_Michael because this bike is meant to have 2 exhausts . With 1 it looks terribly ugly..
@@rolandsv8sure it does. See how it handles and performs without those trash stock pipes.

The kick stand on my V Strom is terrible, the bike has fallen over twice because of it.
What a weird problem. I've dropped my Multi twice, not the fault of the kickstand. Both times I was on an unfamiliar road and dumped it trying to stop to take pictures on the side of an uneven road.
This video has done what it was set out to do .I feel like getting my self a bike like this
That end view was money!
It happened to me the same way. It cost me 1500 euros to fix it. Since then, I never leave it in neutral when it's on a rack.

Great video mate 🤟
As soon as I saw you were in CA I said to myself, dang he better look out not to get pulled over lol then the sirens started.
Do all cops there look like they have just returned from a tour in Al-Fallujah?
jesus man i cant believe you dropped it that hurts to watch
Hayabusa weighs a lot around 264 kilos. One should be more careful when riding Hayabusa. Thanks for the tips, I didn't know the problem of it's stand.

brocks performance billet kick stand
Nothing wrong with the stand - pure carelessness … dont leave it on incline in neutral and stand not clicked in position . Its bloody common sense !!! i have had 5 Busas ( all 3 generations) - it has never fallen.
Here’s the solution: never park any bike in neutral. Always park it in gear, there’s no reason to leave it in neutral… just like a manual car.
Park in gear 100% of the time. I did upgrade the kickstand to the Brocks adjustable one though.
That is a universal issue with All GSXRs. I dropped my 750 due to the same thing. Kickstand rake. My son's Ninja has a gangster lean in comparison.

Where was that overlook and where was it overlooking at the end?
You need a new exhaust on the Busa!
I heard there's a recall for this? Something to do with the brakes
My '22 had the front brake issue and recall. It should be solved by now.
this was a very good video
Hey the location where u r driving is beautiful can you tell the name this locatiob
Ortega Highway in Orange County, CA
😂 did you have to pay for the repairs?
No, dealers carry insurance on test bikes for this exact reason. That's around 3500 in damage. I bought a Hayabusa for that😂
Why are you in B mode and not A mode?
What’s the yearly insurance rate?
Go grab a quote from different insurance companies and see for yourself !
Do you feel this bike is comfortable enough for a long commute? 3 hours a day?
Your legs might get sore from being tucked up, but other than that, yeah.
Put risers and lower the foot pegs and you can do more than 3 hrs
Most definitely, very comfortable. Best tourbike.
which place is it
Which place is this?
You dropped a dealer's 25th anniv???
Yeah that a big ass bike for that little stand lol
