Thanks Bryan and Riki for the fantastic tour and I really enjoyed the culture of Bantayan, and the heavenly beauty of the sacred icons and statues inside the Catholic Church as well. The honor that Catholics pay to an image passes to its prototype and when they venerate an image they venerate the holy person portrayed in it. The honor paid to sacred images is “respectful veneration,” not worship due to God alone. Have a blessed day !!! ❤️❤️❤️

You deep fry the dried fish, you make vinegar sauce to dip it and you eat it with rice. Or you slice one tomatoes to as a sauce.

Cooking dried fish can be fried one or grilled. Make a dipping sauce with tomatoes, vinegar, calamansi, onions and chilli.

Cook the fried fish by either frying in oil or grill over charcoal. We also add these dried fishes in vegetable soups. It's yummy😅

The yellow salad you tried with the tocino pork bbq is called papaya atsara. I find that in a lot of Ilonggo bbq dishes or inasal dishes. It's really good when combined with bbq. Maybe it's influenced by nearby Negros Occidental. They also have a lot of good food there.

Those dried fishes were very cheap. I Manila, prices are golden. Very expensive. It's anywhere from P500 to P1000 pesos per kilo. If you haven't cooked them yet, make sure do it in low fire and heat the oil fully before tossing them in. Don't let them go dark. They burn easily and will become bitter. Dip 'em all in spiced vinegar.
The barbecued egg sack is really good when cooked together with chicken adobo style.
