Carl Jung said: shame is a soul eating emotion."
What does that mean for those who struggle with shame?
Dealing with toxic shame can feel like an uphill battle.
It's tough to even recognize when you need comfort and support, especially when stress hits.
    But why is that?
Well, it all stems from your past, from trauma that etched deep beliefs into your mind.
    “problems are not solvable!”
You end up unconsciously denying yourself the very comfort your mind and body desperately crave.
    So, what happens next?
You repress those feelings deep down, because they are shame bound.
But guess what? It only makes things worse.
We can't address your experiences head-on, and that leads to this constant state of unease.
And what do you do then?
You enter in dysregulation and turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms just to numb the pain, to fill that void of comfort you’re missing which the body and mind is craving to have.
But what if there's another way?
Instead of pushing away those feelings, what if you faced them head-on?
It's not easy, I know. Vulnerability feels like a big risk. But hear me out.
When we embrace vulnerability we start to chip away at the core beliefs we generated from the childhood trauma we experienced in our past, this way we open the door to a new life through healing.
We start to break free from the destructive patterns and reclaim control over our lives.
But how do we embrace vulnerability?
Together, we can unravel the cycle of toxic shame and discover the strength and resilience within you.
So, are you ready to take that first step? I know it's scary, but you don't have to do it alone.

Great video, much appreciated. It's so true that many of the unmet needs remain in the unconscious, so that when they are fulfilled - even for a moment - they can easily overwhelm the persona and cause maladaptive behaviours that strive to re-establish fulfilment.
