I just finished the Eisenhorn books last week, and seeing the arbities and the navy in action was always cool to me knowing there are other factions of the imperium that dont often get the spotlight, but are still badass. I was SO excited to see the imperial navy breachers.
Absolutely brilliant that we're getting what looks like the spiritual successor to the Solar Auxillia and some new Kroot models, I know the Tau players have been waiting a long time for those!
Definitely, my favorite kill team releases are those that cover the lesser seen, sub factions of the setting much like the Rogue Trader set in the previous edition.
I'm pretty happy with new teams. I think the Community article also said the rest of the releases would tie into this. So other teams may come in time.
Really looking forwards to this expansion in Killteam! I am really into the idea of narrow corridors and tight sightlines for Killteam. I tried playing an interior map with a friend and it was tons of fun, so official rules and terrain for it is very welcomed! Also Kroot!?
I was very hyped for kasrkin, and while I was initially disappointed with this reveal I have to admit, it's growing on me. Looking forward to having my legionaries stalking the corridors of a space hulk!
Lol, when I heard about it I thought: “I bet it’ll be something weird like Kroot or demons of slaanesh.” As a joke. But, as a Tau player with a fat stack of Kroot carnivores, I’m down for it. I love those breachers, too.
The models are great aren't they? Although we need to talk about your prediction, that sounds like the kind of foresight that should be investigated by the Inquisition...
Excited as a friend has recently started playing, will be great to split a box and with an extra rulebook in there I think GW are aiming for new players.
I’m certain we’ll get those with this space hulk themed season. GW are pretty good at foreshadowing, wouldn’t surprise me if the space hulk in the votann reveal trailer is the Gallowdark!
I really want to see the new terrain. The naval armsmen & Kroot look good. I do worry about the armsmen having shotguns as their primary weapons - range pentagon is a big handicap on a regular KT board.
Yeah, there’s a few extra models you can glimpse in the video and it looks like nothing has a range greater than 6” on the navy side. I hope this means plenty of ship interior terrain!
this season i think is going to be all about close quarter fighting. To my prediction is that the second boxset will be Voltan vs Nids. The reason i think this is the voltan reveil had a very similar door and there was evidence of dead nids in the vid
I was just discussing the same with Jester. GW are very good at foreshadowing well in advance, and it wouldn’t surprise me if the space hulk the votann board in their reveal trailer turns out to be the Gallowdark. I’m very excited for this season.
I've been heavily invested into deadzone and haven't played or done anything with KT besides except build the octarious set. My God is this box getting me excited! Already sold and hope I can score a box.
very excited, might actually buy ones of these boxes for a change, rather than waiting until the individual teams release and getting the one of those that i want. I am v happy with navy breachers and kroot as opposed to the rumored kasrkin and stealers. Both of those are pretty well served with their compendium teams, so giving the weakest team a better variant for the kroot along with what i imagine will be something between sm scouts, blooded and scions teams for the breaches makes me quite excited. I will admit to a small amount of disappointment in the absence of terminator rules for kt, as this would have been a perfect setting for them. Makes me think they are unlikely to ever come, which is a shame.
The words “primaris terminators” have started appearing in the rumors as of late and with how leaky GW has been recently, there might be something to it…
Looks interesting, shame they didn't reveal more about the terrain!
Think the WH gang for shadespire looked amazing too.
Hell yeah, I will absolutely be picking those up.

That scene in Malleus is what I instantly thought of as well when I saw the breacher team! Very excited for them, I love the sub faction teams.

Sounds like people are going to be able to build up quite the space hulk terrain collection which I’m super excited for.
@@GrimdarkGamers I'm not really a huge fan of loads of expensive terrain as a rule but I did love Space Hulk as a child.

Kroot ! Yeah, having some rules for interior spaces opens up a tonne of possibilities for narrative games!

It’s pretty interesting how they’re making themed Seasons going forwards with multiple releases tied to a similar theme!

Definitely, this will be a great hopping on point for new players.
Wanted Nids v. Squats, but these look great. Will be buying.

Fingers crossed! Games Workshop have been doing a better job recently stopping the scalpers claiming sole ownership of the bigger box set releases.
I do like the boxset but I wish they revealed more models
Definitely, it was quite the tease!

@@GrimdarkGamers that's a good point. Maybe a coordinated release with sm codex 2.0. One can but hope
The expansion looks great, crossing my fingers they finally throw out shapes and use inches like how it should have always been🤞
