This has got to be one of the most underrated movies
Add VIDEOGAME before movies and I agree
Right !! I’m so glad my mother introduced me to it when I was young
Yeah me too, but why many people dislikes it ?
@@ahmarelvirgio823 because it doesn't follows the original story from video game
Don't make them like this no more
1:02 An interesting detail I just realized here: When the Hassassin licked the blade in that scene, he wasn't trying to be intimidating or cool, he was using the Numbing Agents laced into the Blade's Surface to calm himself so as to maintain a level head.
It also made Seso's battle all the more impressive, as Seso was fighting the Hassassin while being Crippled by Numbing Agents.
Not to mention, Seso remained standing for minutes after having the spikes impale him through his bare chest.
Meanwhile the knife Seso killed the Hashashin with was thrown with such force that it broke through the Hashashin's chestplate and reached his heart.
Hassassin are basically assassins a group of mercenaries trained in art of killing.
that doesn't make sense if it's a toxin that has effect when it enters the blood stream through a wound...licking the weapon wouldn't let the toxin have any effect.
@@kuroroluxifer8321 The poison might have different properties depending on the route of entry. Very versatile. In practice, if said poison is used in hunting, it'll incapacitate/kill the prey, but the poisoned meat will still be safe to eat as long as the poison doesn't enter the blood stream.
I had no idea that's why he's rlly weak at the end..
"Have I've told you about the Mbaka", usually you would forget but with this movie, that legendary fight, you will never forgot it.
I hope your brother listens to u, Persian
*Ngbaka
Best character of this movie.
yeah he and Alfred Molina
And best fighter also.
Most badass character of this movie.
Have I told you about the Mbaka?
"Have I told you about the Mbaka" one final time. Made me cry😭😭😭
This scene is unforgettable! They way that dagger was retrieved can only b described as MAGICAL! Awesome movie that has been ridiculously underrated! Looks exactly like the game which was also awesome!
Except none of these characters are in the game except for the prince, the princess(who is named farah) the prince's father and the visior. The sands of time is not a sand storm that destroys the world but it turns people come into contact with it into sand monsters. The game was much better than the movie. I liked the movie too but the game was so much better.
@@MiiPower
Well, it is a live action adaptation.
@@jasoethesentienteyeshapedg4847 I know. Don't get me wrong I liked the movie but it could have been better
A ranged battle in which warriors do not say a single word out of respect, instead they let their skills do the talking, fantastic scene
I remember when I was a little girl, I cried my eyes out when he died. Especially once the music hit higher at 2:20 when the guards rushed in 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Awesome
He went out like a True Warrior, even at his death. Mission is complete, and even though he didn't get to see so...Life and the world was saved😌💯
same here man, i was rooting for the guy and i was so glad seeing him win but then...
Technically he doesn't die.. because everything is reset to zero
.. at the end..they lived happily ever after.
I remember watching this in cinema. Had a great time. Wish we have more movies like this one. Got tired from all those Marvel and DC super heroes. Would love to see a new true adventure movie.
Yeh there should be movie on Pop Two Throne Especially Its Turning into to black guy will be amazing in movie
You can tell both of them respect each other
Fun fact the prince's ally who helps him get the dagger in this scene is lord Corlys Velaryon in the new hit show House of the Dragon.
Really? WOW! :D
These guys would give Marvels bullseye a run for his money
I saw this movie 8 years ago and I could still remember the line" have I told you about the M'Baka and I forget to have lunch almost everyday. That's how good this movie character was
1:37 The look on both their faces says it all. They are both equally matched and there is only one way this is going to end. Despite who they fight for I say these magnificent warriors of the blades have great respects for each other as well as mines.
It’s just a movie u mean great acting
@@harpper9991 nothing is real
Rupesh Kumar the news is real
Ok
@@harpper9991 no it's not
this is one of the best fantasy movies i 've ever seen .
Have you seen that little cinematic thing called... "Lord of the Rings trilogy"?
Then u must play the Game !
@@MizantropMan he did say "one of"
@@MizantropMan he didn’t say THE best dude. He said ONE OF the best.
This movie was awesome, critics have no taste
This is a highly underrated movie
shit movie
Bro literally awesome... Gyllenhaal nailed the role!
@@TabishJamalV ... Why? I know it is shit in some aspects, but I will definitely not call it a shitty movie, and I'm a big fan of the game series
Bullshit
@@nithulnath9331 cause he was a jealous one about a movie of persia .so he left that comment
Every now and then I think back to this scene, and go 'they didn't have to make the fight scene of a secondary character's body guard go this hard' but they did, and are awesome for it.
its good to see a fight where both fighters are equally match with the same skill and weapon, draw
The best scene in the whole film, and the best character as well, Seso.
This is probably in the top 10 of most underrated movies. Terrific cast, acting was great, action was fantastic, story was good. Even if it wasn’t as faithful to the games….it’s still one fun movie.
Listening to some Mook monologing as he blunders around may be fun from a gameplay perspective but they do not usually translate all that well into a full length movie
This is the perfect metaphor for Quantity vs Quality.
Mbaka was about Quality while the Assassin was about Quantity cause of the number of darts.
I get what you mean, Precision also counts in that Quality. The Hassassin can just shoot and kill...MBaka was more calculating in where and what his target was🤔🤙🏿🔥
both are the best .....
A damn good warrior
I love this movie so much...i wish there could be a part 2
Everytime this scene gives me goosebumps
My favorite scene in this movie
Even if you die you have to accomplish your aim
You can see the look in the Hassassin's eyes as he drops. He knew that even though he fatally struck Seso, he knew he had failed his mission the moment Seso got to the dagger's chamber.
The Hassassin's objective was to protect the dagger, and he knew that even if Seso died afterwards, Seso's skill with knives would mean that one way or another, the Dagger is now in enemy hands, meaning the Hassassin failed his mission.
It's why likely died considering Seso a 'Worthy foe'.
Even in 2024, I sometimes visit this link. It makes me still chill to see the battle with throwing daggers or needles because it is pretty rare among other action movie scenes
this movie was much better than i expected.
Hollywood still doesn't know how to adapt a video game... but they already knew how to write an Arabian Nights story, which is essentially what this was.
I remember after watching this movie especially this particular scene when I was only 10 or 11 years old,and suddenly out of nowhere I started swing objects like M-Baku,like juggling things that especially imitate knifes, now guess what I am a perfectionist at this.
I worked on this sequence , appears quick on screen but was about 6 weeks of hell
Had you ever played the game? Or have you since then?
Its like african assassin vs persian assassin from hassansin lair
"Have i told you about the umbaka"
😔
Yes, you did
Even its different from the game.. it still a good story..
Game is game movie is movie.
If u see it as a movie then according to me it's perfect classical story...
Say what you will about this movie, but the fight choreography is _amazing._
UA-cam recommends.
Me: Opens Netflix to see if it's available.

one of the most hearthbreaking death in movies...for me that is...
I understand
But he went out with one last throw that was Metal af
Now THIS is how you accurately portray Hashashins - as silent, agile, deadly hunters, fighting/killing from cover and shadows.
Even this fight is better than night king battle
Good
Knives VS Darts so badass.
For some reason this reminds me of a JoBro fighting one of the last minions to help the main JoJo succeed even if they die doing it.
I can watch this movie on and on and on ..soo cool
Boomerang vs knives
It was just like Sokka vs Mai
Have i told you about the imbaka...
😂
😂😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
M'baka 😅
Have I told you about the dahaka
Anjali shukla no you haven’t
All characters were awesome and interesting in this movie.
The most iconic scene of the most underrated movie
Still one of my favourite movie.
One of my fav movie ... This scene particularly
he was not just his servant/bodyguard who owed him a life debt, he was his best friend
Iss movie ki vibes he different level h bhai or is background sound voh toh alag he level ke h 😮😮😮
Most underrated movie 👍
He still accomplished his mission. He brought you to me
Absolutely one the best fight scenes in this fine movie!!
kinda weird that Seso packs fewer blades compared to the Assassin tbh but I doubt the M'baka need a lot of that since they might need the agility and the sufficient encumbrance for it
The mbaka was the better knife thrower. The other guy shooting stuff without throwing
1:38 they both knew they were going to die here
This is a great Damn movie... But why is it showing up in my recommendations now?
Because we need to go back in the past using the dagger and stop the Chinese from spreading the virus.
I'm ready and only need the Princess to come along with me for moral support.
Because has UA-cam told you about the Im'baka?
Because we are going to the past
2020-20=2000
this movie is shit
@@TabishJamalV says the guy who makes vid about tiktok lol
For me, this movie scratches the same itch as The Mummy.
Good old nostalgia feelings.
This Black guy is Corys Velaryon in House of The Dragon
Aside from dastan, Mbaka was my fave character in this movie....
One of the best movie,
My favorite scene in the whole movie
Ah, the knive thrower was a hell of a cool character.
Still the best scene
He macho like Randy respect! ✊🏾
One of best fight scene
I liked the movie but never played the game I do love this scene though
One of the greatest game of all time
Jake jillinhalll is an underrated actor for sure

"Have I told you about the Mbaka?"
Yeah, you have.
Best action choreography with kapinga sword.
I really like this movie
Still better than the new jumanji series.
A very good movie.
Who would have thought the secondary characters' battle would be this intense?
Anyone else got Deadliest warrior vibes watching this scene lol😳🔥
Oh hey, It's Lord Corlys Velaryon, I see one of his adventures during his younger days lol.
He made the Kpinga ricochet 1:20
This dude was so cold in the movie if i was in this id want him to train me
Lord Corlys Velaryon, Rhaneyra needs you ! ANd you're here playing blades !
Nice scene
This was a very awsome scene they both know there both equal and one of them will die you can tell in this shot 1:39
The Early adventures of Lord Corlys Velaryon !
Sir how are u using these video without any copyright content claim..
Please answer this🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The mysterio was the prince that time ....... it's totally been forgotten.....
Been playing a lot of DnD style classic RPG games, still can't build the proper M'Baka like in this scene... You gotta have good points of Dexterity and throwing skill, and with deadly accuracy in both long and short range combat, means that he must have good points of Perception, and not to mention that the M'Baka can throw not only daggers and knives, even hatchets and small swords or axes, meaning he also has a lot of Strength, and as how he manages to take 5 strikes, means he too has good Constitution...
Good move
And for a moment, I thought I was looking at Orlando Bloom 😂
Mbaka is a knife expert man and the guard given him tough challenge.
one of the best movie adaptation of a game, i couldnt figure out though why they didnt make sequels considering the game itself has other game stories, like "Warrior Within" and "Two Thrones".
That was apparently the original plan (to make it a franchise), but Hollywood listens to critics & accountants, not the audiences. Then because the critics gave it poor reviews, Jake Gyllenhaal said he regretted doing the movie and wouldn't do any more.
Any idea about what blade he used in the last. I love that shape.
I think its called a kota
Dangerous fight
