Thanks!! Ive been waiting for someone to do a really good review of the new clear case. I love the look but disappointed to hear the sides are slippery and don’t have the same grippy feel as impact sheer cases.
Very good review and content as always. The clear case looks very nice the bounce one is very bulky but has great protection. Did you ever get the `Rebel case would love to hear your review on them . Have a fantastic weekend 👏😎🇮🇪
Hi Mary! Lovely to hear from you! And yes...the Bounce is awfully big. Personally, I think the Impact and Ultra Impact are plenty protective for my needs, but the Bounce is going to be perfect for some people. The Clear is lovely, but I prefer the feel of the case sides on the Impact/Ultra Impact/Bounce family. Unfortunately, I've never been successful in getting my hands on a Phone Rebel case. Some companies are put off by my location, I think. Do you have that case? If so, what's your opinion on it?
@@TheTechReviewer yes I did get it for the I phone 13pro I didn’t upgrade this year , I ordered another one from them even tho I said I wouldn’t because the cost of shipping and paying DHL as well, but they have interchangeable buttons on them now. The protection on this case if great and the MagSafe as well. Thanks once again for all the videos and great content 👏😎🇮🇪
Good to know, Mary! Those orange buttons must look great on the case. I love the ability to swap out button colors on cases! You say you prefer the carbon fibre on the Rebel to that of the Pitaka cases...why? How is it different?
wow! i needed this type of review! i was going to order a bounce case... however, seeing this review, I think I;ll try another ( I don't like all the slack on the sides)
Hi @King! Yes, personally...the Impact is my favorite of all four. I think the amount of drop protection it provides is sufficient for most people and it has a good fit on the phone and a nice grip in the hand. It's also not too large...And CASETiFY has just released more colors in the Impact and Ultra Impact iPhone 14 Pro lines, so that's exciting! 😊
How does this case compares to the Rhinoshield clear case? I have the Rhinoshield clear case. The case fell on gravel and the plastic parts kinda chipped away. I am thinking to buy the Casetify clear case, but if it has the same material as Rhinoshield, then the plastic will easily chip too.
Hi Liana! So sorry to hear that your RHINOSHIELD Clear case got damaged in a fall! As far as I understand, that should be covered under RHINOSHIELD's replacement warranty. You might want to contact them: rhinoshield.io/pages/rhinoshield-policy#lifetime-replacement-program-policy As far as the CASETIFY Clear material compared to the RHINOSHIELD Clear, I really couldn't tell you the exact material composition. Comparing the 14 Pro Max versions of the two side by side, they are really similar in size, appearance, and feel. Both have a hard, smooth feel in the hand and have an excellent, tight fit on the phone. Both are pretty tight to install and remove. Both have very good buttons, but RHINOSHIELD allows you to swap button colors, while CASETIFY cases don't have that option. RHINOSHIELD also gives you the option to change the camera rim color. Also, the RHINOSHIELD Clear has stronger magnets than the CASETIFY Clear. Hope this helps!
Hi Everyday Clips! Congrats on the new CASETiFY Clear! As far as a skin, I don't really know. These cases are designed with pretty tight tolerances, and adding anything to the phone can disrupt them. In general, it's not something I would recommend...
Hi! Just wanted to ask if you feel comfortable using the casetify magsafe cases on car mounts? I'm torn between the Rhinoshield and Casetify haha! Rhino has stronger magnets, but not a fan of the removable parts cause I fear it'll break and open my phone to scratches. And the Casetify looks sturdier since it's all 1 piece with no moving parts, but afraid that the magnets arent strong enough for car magsafe mounts hahaha! Btw I love your content, it's so meticulous and detailed. I remember the rhino grip max problem with it showing on the wide cam, not a lot of people pointed that out!
Thanks so much for your kind comments, @therealLOGS! So, I haven't tried any of these cases with a car mount, because I haven't had a car for the past several years (I'm an expat, living in Shanghai, and with the excellent metro system here, have had no reason to get a car). I think partly this is going to depend on the strength of your car mount's magnet, but other than that, I would tend to go with RhinoShield. They have significantly stronger magnets. Hope this helps!
I got the ultra impact first but returned it because it was said on packaging it was wireless charging capable so I assumed it was MagSafe also but there was no MagSafe ring on the back so I got the bounce instead the one thing about the bounce I don’t like is no cover for the silent switch but I can look past that minor issue I’ve had it for a week and so far no other complaints I also put a lens protector on it to protect the lenses from impact and getting lenses dirty also by casify
Hi Jared! Yes, the charging specs can be confusing! Just because something says it is wireless charging compatible doesn't mean it will work with MagSafe charging. You have to have that MagSafe ring on the case. Glad to hear that the Bounce is working out well for you...it's a very good case. And with that additional lens protector from CASETiFY, you should be in very good shape. Enjoy!!
Hi Rayven! I personally prefer the Impact. It seems sufficiently protective for most everyday use, and it is easier to slide in and out of pockets and bags. Plus, it’s also a little cheaper 😊
Putting this here to help people. I have had two matte casetify cases break down on me. The side guards or the rim of the case peeled off and they werent even 2 yes old. A waste of money if you ask me
Hi @daughter! Thanks for sharing your experience. Really sorry to hear that the cases experienced that sort of degradation. Did you try contacting CASETiFY about it?
I have the clear case for my Iphone 14 pro max. Its my first casetify case. They are very tight and secured but I'm having difficulty removing the case from my phone. Any tips you can give me? And will it not scratch the phone?
Hi Jennifer! First, I don't think the plastic case is going to be able to scratch the sides of your phone. However, if dirt gets trapped in between the case and the phone, then that could cause scratches. As far as removing the case is concerned, the CASETiFY CLEAR is quite tight...you are right about that. To take it off, you should probably start on the top right corner and push gently but firmly until the corner comes off and then go down to the bottom right corner and then push that off. The phone should come out relatively easily then. Good luck!!
They are a little harder than CASETiFY's Impact and Ultra Impact, but not too bad. Just start in the top right corner, pop that off, then go down to the bottom right corner. Once those two are off, the rest of the case should come off easily...
Hi Alberto! No, it's an Anker power bank, the Anker 622. Great power bank. I reviewed it here: ua-cam.com/video/xq0VJn3Niw4/v-deo.html There is a slightly different version out now, however...
Hi @crispyduck! Personally, I think the Bounce is overkill. It’s more drop protective than the Ultra Impact, but I find it to be too bulky. The Ultra Impact still provides plenty of protection and it’s not too huge. Hope this helps!

Hi @rayven. So, the back of the cases, being glossy polycarbonate, is going to scratch relatively easily, and it is also going to show fingerprints. If you choose a case with dark colored sides, you are probably safe from yellowing, but lighter colored case sides, being made from TPU, are likely to change color over time. That much said, I think CASETiFY cases generally wear well over time. All other competitor cases with polycarbonate backs and TPU sides face the same issues. Hope this helps! And thanks for watching!
