Dude. Sorry for your loss. Its a sad and beatutiful story. Kindof like this song. Its a very satisfying song to play. Good luck! (Sounds like your Grandad was an cool Man)
Would just like to thank you Andy , I'm a 37 year old man who has never been able to play a instrument . I watched a few videos on here and found yours easiest to follow, I'm now playing wonderwall I know it's the begginers song but I'm one happy dude 😃
Wonderwall too difficult? This song is at Level 9 of my FREE beginners course available here @ www.andyguitar.co.uk/free-online-beginner-guitar-lessons/ Try an earlier level to find songs you'll be able to play easily and improve naturally!!
At 17:00 what chords to play and how to sing along is missing for this part: "There are many things that I" How are you supposed to play and sing that part? The previous part "And all the roads we have to walk are winding And all the lights that lead us there are blinding" Are covered 16:13 with C(a9) - Dm - Em And the following part 17:30 "Would like to say to you but I don't know how" are covered by G - F(sharp) - Em
I'm pretty happy with how I explained that section. The chord sheet should answer your questions www.andyguitar.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/Wonderwall.pdf
Andy Crowley Hey Andy, what is the strumming pattern for the A where you take your fingers off for the signature sound? Is it UUDUD? So fingers off on the down-strokes? Thanks for your videos!

Hi Andy, I just wanted to thank you for teaching me how to play wonderwall. I learned from watching this video as I wanted to do something special for my best man's speech for my best mates wedding. I'd not played guitar before and watched your videos for about 12 months learning a bit of other stuff as well. I wrote my own lyrics to wonderwall and it went down a storm so I would just like to say thank you.
Just wanted to thank you andy, for your brilliant teaching. You have been my on line teacher for years. I play open mic nights and go busking, I love my playing, anyway iv learnt so much, with determination, I can now play my favourite oasis song! Cheers mate 💪
Started watching your tutorials a few months ago when I got back into playing guitar, after having kids and being a single mom, not having a lot of free time I stopped for about a decade but now I'm back at it and I find your voice and your playing especially comforting and I find your tutorials so helpful. You are a rare gem and I'm a forever fan now 🖤
Less than a month into attempting to learn guitar and ive practically got this down.. Cheers Andy. Amazed i can pretty much play along to one of my all time favourite songs..

Finding your tutorials really easy to understand, quite chuffed at myself for learning this one fairly quickly with your great instructions :D perhaps i'm now at the end of the beginner phase ;) Thank you!
I'm loving this tutorial, I picked up the guitar 3.weeks ago, I've jumped in with wonderwall and although I've picked up the chords I've struggled with both strumming and rythem, your tutorial has helped me at this early stage understand the beat. Thank you
Hi Andy. Wanted to let you know how helpful your tutorial is for me. I have been attempting to learn guitar for several years and have tried many lessons (two private lessons too) but it never really took off. I came across your website for 3 months and with practice everyday I have reached this song in your tutorial. Experience and maybe a tip from a fellow beginner: When switching fingers 1+2 from the first to the second chord (Em7 to G), my fingers 3+4 often slipped slightly off the strings and caused a bad melody. Since these fingers stay fixed throughout the song, I started placing them by playing a G first and never had this problem again.
Hi Andy.....never had any music training before and now have been playing and very intensely (8+ hours a day) for about 3 weeks and you are definitely one of the best of on line trainers out there. I am enjoying learning the 16 beat patterns and am striving to get this song down exactly as it's tabbed (with ALL the exact patterns and finger movement). I want to make sure each stroke is exactly in the perfect time. Can you suggest which lesson I missed to understand that? Thanks again for all you do!

My son has bought an acoustic guitar so mine has had the cobwebs blown off it and we are jamming together, what fun. Dave
Great Video, helped me out so much. I'm still a beginner but I learn a lot quicker from your videos. Still struggling with this on some parts but hoping it comes to me!
Good effort Ryan. Try an earlier level of the beginners course to find songs you'll be able to play easily and improve naturally!! www.andyguitar.co.uk/free-online-beginner-guitar-lessons/
Learning wonderwall during quarantine in 2020 👋🏼
Great lesson Andy. Thank you for doing cool classic beginner songs. 🤩👍👍
i got a guitar for christmas, after my brother showed me the one song that every guitar player knew- im learning this for the next time i see him :D
the advantage with getting lessons on youtube is that you can repeatedly listen to the same thing over and over again, but in a real lesson after like 3 repetitions its out the door
Great lesson, great website, great shirt!
