I got mine yesterday and it does a great job getting out some stuff my VPI did not, which wasn’t much. I’m doing 5 records at a time while double spacing the separators as possible. I did take the film protectors off the disks. They may shed plastic overtime.
I clean alot of records with this same set up. Most of the records are 50 years old. I have settled on a solution of 19.5 cups distilled water, .5 cup of 91% Isopropyl alcohol, and 10 drops of Tritton-100 (or your favorite surfactant). I get about 50 records cleaned before I change the solution. I also vacuum off the ultrasonic solution from the record using a vinyl vac attachment, and then rinse the record with distilled water and vacuum again just incase anything was left on the record. I also bought a lower level power supply (1.5 volts?) to slow the rotation speed to about 2 minutes per revolution. I like the record exposure to be more sustained in the solution. Tinker with it and find your own way! Cheers!
I agree that you need a surfactant/wetting agent to the water that will help the water get into the grooves better. That’s all you need. You don’t need to add alcohol to the mix if you don’t want to. Other than that, I’m glad it’s working for you!!! BTW-if you ever want to upgrade, I have a Humminguru and highly recommend it. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s worth the price in how well it cleans your records. Just a suggestion and a FYI!!!
I add Ilford Ifotol and 3 drops of dishwashing liquid soap and some isopropyl alcohol. I don't have to wipe them and just let them air dry. Best money I have spent on audio.

I have the vevor which is the same as this and i finish up with a vinyl vac to suction dry the records. It works amazing.
Nice to know. I plan on doing the same thing
new feature in the channel i love it!
I recommend using a diaper like cloth for drying. It will dry much better and just wipes smoother than a microfiber like that one you have.
Wow thank you for the advice. We’ll definitely try this out. Greatly appreciate it!
I am very interested in getting one these to go with my vinyl vac

Thank for the input! What’s the measurement of the ilford ilfotol?
"not to bad" - is still good for you ?
Ya'll like to talk a lot. Wish you'd get to the point. Video could have been 3 minutes long.
Apologies. Will do better next time. Thank you for your comment.
