It is required for official documents and schooling. For example, it is always attached to newspapers, exam questions, and business documents. On the other hand, it is often not attached to private emails and comments. Young people in particular tend not to put them on.
I have one question: Why did you translate「とっても」as「take」? at 31:50 As far as I understand, the word「とっても」serves as emphasizer for「いいですか」here, like「totally」in「totally okay」 And there is no「take」word in this sentence at all. We should just get it from the context.
that's not 「とっても」 as in "very, totally". That's the te-form of 撮る , 「撮って」followed by 「もいいですか」. te-form + もいいですか being a grammar pattern used for asking for permission politely. And 撮る (to take a photograph), was written in kana because that's an N1 kanji.
Can you write Korean 🇰🇷 words. You have been educated at school. I haven't been educated at school. And I am a foreigner from Taiwan. I don't know your writing. I know English better than you.
Another advantage of learning Japanese is you'll be able read Chinese to a certain extent (1) Today is a special day Japanese : 今日は特別な日デ。 Chinese : 今天是个特别的日子。 (2) Last year, I visited Kyoto Japanese : 去年、私京都に行きました。 Chinse : 去年我去了京都。

先生、今日と本日は何が違うですか。
意味は同じですが、本日は改まった場面で使います。例えば、イベントや式などで、たくさんの人の前であいさつする時などに使います。日常では今日を使います。
As chinese language series.

同じペンを買いましたが、同じ美しいインキの見え方ができません。おそらく彼女が使っている紙の種類が違うからだと思います。
