You only have to remember the words you're interested.
How many times do you think you would use the word "mountain"???
Exactly
The digital notebook feature on the recommended is handy for quick reference. It's nice to see how much you've learned at a glance.
I love the idea of categorizing words into different levels and genres for personalized learning. This Mochi's feature is one I love the most!

Que interesante y entretenido este vídeo de los kanjis, y sobre todo con subtítulos en español, más llamó mi atención!!! Desde niña me ha cautivado el idioma japonés y llevé clases de japonés cuando estaba en la universidad, aprendí un poco de hiragana y actualmente estoy estudiando katakana y estoy estudiando kanji, es todo un mundo!! Pero es algo que siempre me ha gustado!! Me gustó mucho el vídeo, gracias
Many thanks for the useful Kanji lessons
Happy to be of service to you!

I always struggle with Kanji, but your lesson is so easy to understand, easy to learn and easy to memorize.
There are very few videos that allow people to learn kanji in an easy-to-understand way, so I would like to make more and more of them in the future.

Hi.. thank you for introducing me to this app.. I took jlpt n5 once, but I failed it, I am preparing for n4 now, I've been searching for good apps, I feel this is the right one for me, I will install it😊
I am sad to mention this. Because whenever i take some apps for learning some languages, it's always not free. The same thing happened here, this app isn't free and it restricted me from using it on the very fourth day itself.. I'm sad.. Thank you for the 3-day content tho..
For a forgetful person like me, MochiKanji is really my best companion
MochiKanji is a wonderful app🥰!

こにちわ i am from Taiwan
Q - about 98, ive looked and the translation comes up as "former" and "ex", i just wanted to check with you about that one. thank you
The Japanese kanji character "元" (pronounced "gen" or "moto") has multiple meanings and usages, making it a versatile character in the language. Here's a breakdown of its primary interpretations and applications:
Origin or Beginning: "元" is often used to indicate the beginning or origin of something. For example, "元日" (gantan) means New Year's Day, marking the beginning of the year.
Former or Previous: When referring to a person's previous state or position, "元" can mean "former" or "ex-". For instance, "元彼" (moto-kare) means "ex-boyfriend", and "元社長" (moto-shachou) means "former president (of a company)".
Thank you!😄

So l am new to learning Japanese.. and ldk from where to start on this youtube channel. Can anyone pls guide? I am learning Japanese from scratch
Hello! Thanks for finding my channel!
First of all, Japanese language uses Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji instead of alphabets.
The first and foremost thing you need to do is to learn hiragana. (There are (46 kinds of this).
Once you have studied hiragana, it is recommended to learn various Japanese nouns using hiragana.
I have created a video on nouns mainly using hiragana, so please watch it 🥰.

Why is it taberu instead of tabemasu?
"taberu" is the usual word.
"tabemasu" is an honorific.😄
It's as the video author stated, 食べる is dictionary form and 食べます is polite form. They both describe the same action.
Easy part😅
