I am so glad you are going to Greece! I am Greek and I hope you have a blast there! Note of advice - stay off the places that are too 'touristy' , not sure how you can avoid this in Naxos and Santorini which are extremely popular destinations, but there are millions of places you can go without spending a fortune and are not plagued by the 'high prices/big crowds' unfortunate combination. It is not high season in September/October though, even though temperatures are still in the 'summer mode' range, so it is definitely better than the 'hotter months'. Enjoy! And do explore the food scene, Greece is a dream for foodies, again, avoiding the too obvious touristy places. :)
