This playthrough is my editor Hoshi's project, much much more than it is mine: he played and recorded it, wrote the script and edited the video. We're using my channel to get this video out there so more people can enjoy it.

For the record, this is the least amount of fun I have ever had playing a Fire Emblem game. Maybe even any game ever. It was awesome and I would gladly do it again.
You could try it on a more player phase focused game if you ever start craving some extra pain
In games that have abilities I feel vantage would become alot more valuable

Archer solos are basically the opposite of this: you can only attack on player phase, and can rarely enemy phase a single enemy.
I did one w/ Wil in FE7 (lyn hard eliwood normal, because I’m bad) and it was so damn cursed
I love this kind of video format as a way of reaching out to non fire emblem fans

Unless it's a fog of war map where you have to rely on green units to hold off enemies from attacking another green unit. That would be bad.

Honestly not that many. In fact I would occasionally panic after selecting attack when playing other FE games because of this challenge.

You can't beat the game only using bows period as you fail in the first chapter.
Maybe if hack every unit playable on using only bows

Chapter 1 is flat impossible since you have no bows, and several early game bosses have no 2-range, so you can't attack them.

I was thinking of something similar with 3H the other day. I can't imagine not being able to attack and surviving in maddening but some madman would totally do it. This is a fun concept for a video series 👀

I know im late but now that I think about it when using the mine, it would had been nice to trade Linus's Light Brand with an Iron sword to make the whole thing easier to play around (maybe that way you can use Oswin to perma tank 0 damage for example)
I didn't realize you could select enemies behind the fog at the time because I messed up while trying, but that's a good idea. Things only worked out smoothly here because of FE7 enemy healing shenanigans that I don't understand and because Marcus leveled str between battles, so that sounds like a reliable strat.

I wondered a while ago if this was possible in FE8. I wasn't sure because I didn't know if the Gorgon map can spawn Gorgons that only have long range attacks (Shadowshot).
So I guess that means all Gorgons have at least one of the other two attacks?

When you get accused of killing so many people but you had a ace up your sleeves. You then show evidences of both you and all those people showing that they attack you first and how they were after your life, which means you can claim that it was all in self defense. The Judge is in your favor and you get the "Not Guilty" verdict

Kinda curious of trying out Fire Emblem but... I think I'm not THAT great in strategy games though I've played Advance Wars games and was... decent at least, what would you reccomend to start from for Fire Emblem (game wise)?
I get why you didn't play 19x, it's because you needed to face Aion's bolting and wait 12 turns, Aion can be a pain, btw 19x pt.2 would need the mine glitch, even if you get it, the boss it's nastier than Aion since carries a long range tome and facing him it's nerve wrecking

@@BunnyOnASnuman 3H is one of the easiest games to turn units into Vantage/Wrath crit machines so I don't doubt it's possible.

Yea there's no recruitment in those chapters so he can skip it.
All Kishuna maps are optional. You can just skip them and the only valuable thing lost is the Silver Card.
