Thank you for the video I literally just picked up a cabin filter for my 2022 Chevy Trailboss 6.2liter and thus video popped up first thing!! Saved me a ton of time and headaches😂😂. I'm losing my sight and legally blind in my right eye so I can't read the book that came with my truck unless someone is around to read it for me!! SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR!! That deserves an immediate subscription from me!! Awesome video very informative and simple as possible!!!
Got my truck in 2019 new and this is the first time I've changed it 😂 made it really simple but not I see I must not neglect it as much my obs dose not have a cabin filter I always forget about this one having one
just did my 2019 (late 2019 with the 2020 body style) in 6 minutes from time I opened pass door until closed pass door. knew everything before starting except the housing cover latch so watched your vid to refresh my memory. dealt with 2007 to 2013 mostly until this year and this was first time I changed on my 2019 silverado 1500 4r. thanks for good reference.
Easy. I used to work at Acura in the early 2000's. The TL was a pain to replace the cabin filter. You had to take so many fragile pieces off the interior to get to it
F#$€@ me the dealer wants 75 bucks to replace this filter...!! Thank you!! I just spent 190 on the fuel filter! And that is the simplistic filter change I ever saw!,
hey thanks for the VIDEO 📸.. short and Sweet...you would have thought it would have been harder to do lol..😂. please if you have other ones love to see them also.. Great Job 👍👍.
Does anyone here suggest a certain brand of filter being better than another or just buy a brand name? Thinking about one with charcoal in it. Don't know if that's snake oil.
Incredibly simple task that everyone should be running to UA-cam to do for $27 (February 2024) rather than $100 at the dealer. Thanks bro!
So that actually WAS simple! Thank you for the straight forward explanation. I wish every “how to” video was this well explained.
Glad it helped
This was super simple. I’m glad I learned this. Having a rough day and it felt great for something to go right. ❤

Thinking about one with charcoal in it.
Don't know if that's snake oil.
Any idea how to remove the plastic mold behind the glove box? Trying to get to my actuator.
not sure on that
As I replaced this filter that damper latch fell off and went down into wherever, was able to get it out. But how do you attach it back on?
it just pops back on
Grasias
My dampening latch fell off and is in that hole, I can’t reach it
Ok ya le ise el cambio del filtro pero en el tablero m sigue diciendo q nesesito aser el cambio del filtro como borro eso o como lo reinicio
Does that truck model also have a remote start option ?
Yes it does!
Thanks
Easy pleasy
You're Welcome!
Like it
How often should it be changed?
in general its recommended to replace them every 10,000 - 15,000 miles or once a year but I usually just go off of how they look
Dealer tried charging me 180 for both air filters
my entire damping latch fell off & landed on the floor 😱
it can pop back on
Funny Your filter says Chevrolet made in the USA. Mine came out saying made in China!😖
Dometic thermal switch
Thank you for this video my friend.
