Regards animals, and their in built 'codes' of behaviour, especially dogs We have a Jack Russell, he will sit with a dog biscuit beside him, and only eat it when we return home. He also refuses to eat alone, we have to be there. He's a small dog that blends in with the furniture, and when I come down in the morning, most times I can't see him, I call out ' nipper ' ( his name) Now he has taken to running into the kitchen when he hears me coming down the stairs, and makes an obvious entrance I can't miss. I have met people with less reasoning power than him😊
Baboon on a bicycle is very real and a great analysis across both individuals and cultures, geography, wealth etc... Just share some of my study about human cognition. first of all, Baboon and human start living with the same perpetuation. the only difference is that human has vast memory capability far beyong baboon and a fancy organ to dream in order retrieve memories remote so to connect memories together. That is why human suffers a lot and so evolves emotions, hatred, love, fear etc. As for emotions, they are not selected by nature. but by our own capability of memory and dream. so people has emotional span from angel to devil. Finally human intelligence is a complicated tool evolved to geting food instead of geting knowledge. Delicious food is more attactive than reading and remembering a story. Our civilization is created to contain human and baboon.
