Real Steel Solis titanium EDC knife. Available on the Real Steel Shop.
Heinnie Haynes have just got them in stock for those in the UK. Ordered one today off the back of your video, looks like a cracking UK legal EDC.
Just see it on HH. I’m gonna have to wait until after Xmas hopefully it won’t go out of stock too quickly. It does look amazing and if the Gslip is anything to go buy it’ll be worth every penny.

It does look good. Very modern looking and quite tactikool in black! Ideal for those secret missions to pick up some milk from the little Sainsburys Local.

Thanks for the review. Personally although I'm not a black blade fan too tactical, nor am I all that keen on any metal scales or handles too cold and slippery when wet. I agree with you about the Luna's blade shape slipping from the slice, hopefully the Solis will appear in G10 like the Luna Lite. Real Steel seem to make a really good job of N690 I have a couple of (Boker+) in N690 and they are excellent.

To be honest - I've put this away until Christmas to give me something to open and I forgot to try the stud. I'm pretty sure it would fit OK.

Love the Poltergeist Works design, not a fan of the black on black but other than that looks very comparable to the Luna ❤🔪
Great Video, lovely piece, did you get stung by customs fees on this? Would love to see these in g10, I feel titanium is just a bit too special for edc usage

No customs delays or charges on my orders. Not sure of I've been lucky or whether the value is below the radar or something.

Not a modern knife guy but really liked the Luna Lite in D2 so just ordered the Solis. If I was very nit picky I would have said the Lunas back spring was a little wet and it seems they've dealt with this on the Solis. Logically, wouldn't a super steel be a blade that holds an edge well and sharpens easily? Wouldnt a blade that keeps an edge till it doesn't then is difficult to sharpen be a PITA steel? Just a thought?

I got this Solis from the Real Steel website when they first came out. I'm not sure who still has them in stock to be honest.
Love the blade shape on the Solis (would have preferred a reverse tanto but this is close enough). If they do a carbon fibre model I'll definitely be picking one up. I think the titanium is too similar to my Ti Luna for me to legitimise getting a Solis at the moment. Does the Luna thumbstud fit the Solis by the way? Great overview of the knife and side by side with the Luna, cheers for helping me make an informed decision on purchasing!
I can confirm the Luna stud fits perfectly on the Solis. However, the action is much more stiff on the Solis. I stripped it down as far as I could to polish the hinge, but the spring was way more stiff and I was scared to take it off in case I couldn't tension it again. It actually hurts my thumb to open the Solis using the stud whereas the Luna is a breeze. Now, if they released a Luna in the black Ti handle, it would be the ultimate.
@@randomreviewz2628 Thanks for the info. That's a shame about the back spring being on the strong side for one handed opening. A black Ti Luna Stripe would be interesting as you'd get the high spots on the handle wearing faster than the groves giving it that nice two tone/used look you mentioned in this video (I'm also a fan of that look). This is what I wish they did with the Luna, even just aluminium scales would be nice.
Think I’ve said before but my perfect Luna would be all black or at least the scales, screws and pocket clip. (Why you can’t buy these in different colours is beyond me.)
And with a stronger spring, and slightly larger choil.
I’m not a fan of the clip on the Solis, I liked the Lunas one because it looked like a pen, but when I think about it I wonder if having the Luna styled clip in black would have looked like a pen?
Never seen a pen with a black clip before.
And did you have any issues when importing?
There is a few knives I want to get that aren’t for sale here yet, but I’m a bit worried about them getting stopped.

Buying from the Real Steel Shop has always been super easy. Very fast delivery (~5 days?) and no issues with any import charges or customs. However, I have only bought slip joints and one frame lock. I have heard UK customs can be very hit or miss with flipper knives, so I wouldn't try importing those. If the Luna became available with these materials/colours, I would order it in a flash!

It is a nice sturdy knife which maxes out what we can carry as EDC in the UK. Any larger and with fewer legal restrictions, I'd probably look for a locking blade. This black Titanium is great!
