  • Bryan Johnson explains why longevity is here, why super-intelligence is right around the corner, and why when it comes to Blueprint, he is happiest in the trenches.
Bryan Johnson is the man behind Blueprint, a project that aims to measure all of his 70 organs - and then maximally reverse the quantified biological age of each. Described as the “most measured man in human history”, Johnson publicly documents his self-experimental protocols and results, allowing us to be passengers on his longevity journey. Two years and millions of dollars into that journey, Johnson has data demonstrating he has slowed his pace of aging by an equivalent 31 years, and now he is working on rolling out his algorithm to enable his followers to move from passenger to driver, taking up the Blueprint for themselves.
The term ‘biohacking’ could have been invented for Bryan Johnson. The multimillionaire tech entrepreneur makes no secret of the fact that he is spending $2 million a year, not only trying to keep the ravages of aging at bay, but to actively reverse his biological age. It’s no surprise then that Johnson is a featured speaker at this year’s RAADfest, the conference that puts super-longevity at the top of its agenda.

As a vegetarian and someone who is physically active at 63y/o, I’ve been taking supplements and following Bryan Johnson “Blue Print”. The only thing I considered about is running out of money as I reach my 90’s, do you have any advice? I see many health 90y/o at the senior centers and I feel that I will also reach this age.

Yes. As I understand it, the whole idea of Longevity is not just living longer, but healthier, what we call Healthspan.... so, with that understanding comes the Fact that we will continue to work and be productive at an advanced age... therefore, the answer is: keep working, keep investing... you will be a millionaire by then... I plan to get to 150, and I'm not worried...😉

Very interesting, brings up hope and fears in my mind.... all the worst things human's have done to each other and the planet is in the paradigm of Don't die , so i have a few fears around this whole concept. Also will only the Rich be able to attain " immortality " ? If we surrender our will to AI in the idea that it knows better than us , my fear is we are sellling our capacity to think, solve problems etc... Also intelligence without true empathy is terryfying to me ...Many questions come up .

Wave Genetics already offers the best potential for anti-aging by using our original blueprint information to direct the body's healing and maintenance. We still only know a tiny fraction about our biology such that supplements can only ever deal with a very narrow fraction of what is required.

I would like to point out that Don't go Extinct is a vital part of Don't Die!
So, we should also spend some time to avoid nuclear war, and other hazards.
"Don't die" is such an individual thing. And I'm an individual, so let's do that too!

In any case You are absolutely Correct sir... we should definitely invest ALL of our resources to save this planet... from ourselves... sadly, we all know it's not gonna hapoen... humans are a destructive species and we know it... that's why we follow Elon Musk, NASA and anyone that is trying to start colonizing other planets... we know Earth is doomed....😢🤷‍♂️🙄
