Besides the deflection, or rather extension, of Alex spine the stern platform looks good. Could be my welding skills might be lower then Alex's or my monitor resolution is 640x480, my glasses broke so i'm not sure. Any way, as i'm sure you are aware of: “A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools.” Douglas Adams
I'm glad you uploaded, as my paint had finished drying.. Arguably, the most humorous comment? Joking aside, good progress, and I am looking forward to the next one 👍
Did you loctite the crubscrews on the railing? I installed fall protection for years, including railings, and know those buggers get loose. Also with the salt water you might want to seal them with a blood of silicone or some sealant. Or let them corrode in place so they are stuck.
Dave. I edited it down to merely the highlights of the cement drying. I also didn't make you watch me paint it. I feel like I'm being set up here. No gratitude these days. ;)
@@AlexHibbertOriginals My apologies if I came across as ungrateful, I rather like watching cement dry, then again it's a bank holiday friday and I've found the jameson... Many thanks to you and Alan for the entertainment.
One more step closer, thanks for keeping us informed and entertained yet again.
Most kind
Can confirm that 15 is the optimal Lost Crew-to-Surviving Crew percentage.
Only for a ‘lifeboat’ 😂
welding them "solid" LOL another excellent production, Cheers
Chopping up the rubber bump strip looks incredibly satisfying
Smoky, certainly
@@AlexHibbertOriginals hole drilling looks like butter.. unlike the stainless nightmare we all know haha

I'll keep them rolling
Thorough as ever. I like the shrink wrap to protect the bolt-ends.
Can't have bare bolt ends can we....
The platform looks sturdy!
Certainly hope so. THE place to overengineer.
Peak internet. It only goes down from here.
And it surely will

I was number 666 to like this update video 😂 cheers to your upcoming journey
Nice work 👍
Cheers
All looking good.
Nice work ! I was thinking of having some kind of lock on the hinge access flap ? It might make noise in bigger waves banging itself on the platform
It's fairly stiff. Will see how it goes.
15 percent maybe the optimal and acceptable amount of crew loss but you should always strive to get below 10 percent and lead the way.

I've checked the deck ones and all are tight and not corroded. Will keep an eye on them.
2x speed makes my brain hurt.

First!
Welcome. You have questionable taste.
I'm just here to watch cement dry... Thanks UA-cam algorithm
