Thank you for such a cute little dragon. I found your instructions easy to follow and each small detail you pointed out was well explained. How to stuff the little guy was key to having him turn so well.
I just finished the Fierce Dragon (I also just made the Small but Mighty Dragon) and again, the directions were so well explained and the videos were excellent, as well. Thanks again Sharon for this incredible pattern! My dragon is fantastic. I'm an experienced knitter and crocheter but I've had little experience with making amigurumi creatures - each of my dragons turned out beautifully. I'm not on FB, so unfortunately, I can't show them off. I am so grateful for your generosity ... Designing these patterns requires real talent and the work involved in making these videos is greatly appreciated!
Hi Sharon, I would love to say thank you, I have only been crocheting for 12 months and for all of the tutorials I have watched and the patterns I have seen YOU my dear are the only one who have shown me how to get rid of all the hanging tails. So again I Thank You so very much
I am grateful you have shared this pattern, I hope you do t mind but I made my dragon larger using the "complicated knots " instructions my dragon is big stands about 60cm I adore it thank you again ❤
You are the master creator! I just provide the basic instruction to get the dragon shape but anyone crocheting the pattern can improvise as much as they want, that's super fun. I just love that!
I'm so thankful you did a dragon like this Sharon!!! My kids' school shirts have this type of dragon on it. It's pretty cool to show them their Mommie can make one too! 😁 You give so much. I hope you knw, you are priceless to those of us who love crochet & enjoy making these animals. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do Sharon. ☺️ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This was the first one of your patterns I've tried. You did a fantastic job of both written and video instructions. Thanks so very much. Now off to do another so both of my grandsons have one!!
Thank you for sharing your great projects and knowledge about crocheting. I am very new to this and have been wanting to learn for years. I feel that I might be able to make something with your instructions lol. Thank you again!!
Hello Sharon I finished my dragon a couple of weeks ago and posted it on your Facebook page, I had fun making it and my grandson loves it! I wanted to ask you if you could show us how to crochet a horse/unicorn. You're a great instructor and have such a pleasant voice. I'll be waiting. Thank you again for sharing 😊
Thank you dear Sharon for this awsome master piece.. Mine was came out perfectly. I do really appreciate your hard work. 🙏🏼✨ Love from all the way Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 ❤️
I like all your tutorials,I finished my 2 elephants small and other one bigger now I'm crocheting a little kitten next I will make a dragon thank you!!!
Just finished the dragon and he is adorable!! Can't send you pics not on FB. Thanks for making these directions/videos so easy to follow. So far I have made almost a dozen different animals. Next..............
Hello Sharon, I love your videos you are a wonderful instructor! I am making this dragon for my 4 year old grandson, I was wondering if yoy have a tutorial on how to crochet the arms and feet. Thank you for sharing!😊
Miss Sharon i just got done doing the dragon i still need to work more on doing the wings better but i like it thanks a lot for your videos i will put a picture on facebook thanks again
Hi thank you for the pattern that you down on the dragon it was so good I need literally enjoy doing it I just got done doing my dragon and it was so easy to do I love these animals so thank you again for your time and hard work
Thank you so much for working on this project and posting it! I saw that you had pictures of a baby dragon but no pattern, do you think that will be available soon?
When I saw this pattern I knew my grandsons would love one!! I finished the dragon without issues except one....The dragon's neck seems to be too weak for the head. I've already stuffed it s much as I can. Any tips? Thanks in advance😊🇨🇦
so I chained twenty seven then did row across of single crochet, then I half double crochet nine rows so holding tummy patch I've all ready made above this piece there are five and a half stitches in length on each side of twenty one stitch tummy patch. length would be perfect. so how do I decrease stitches evenly so I can then just pick up and half double crochet 9 rows of twenty stitch (3-11)and then just continue using instructions for tummy patch? starting at row3
ok so apparently I am a tight stitch maker. so I have chained 27, and did nine rows of half double crochet. if I was able to add this to the tummy patch I have made it would be long enough. so how do I now ( it equals five and a half stitches on each side off the 21 count tummy patch. how do I take what I have made and make a tummy patch now decreasing roughly five and a half stitches on each side so I will have twenty stitches so I can just use your instructions now, to add to this because then it will be the perfect length.
look in the description box of any dragon video you see. There are links to the written pattern and to the playlist here on youtube. The playlist has each part of the dragon, there's 14 videos in the playlist and the tummy patch is one of them.
I guess tomorrow I'm going to make a whole new body very very slowly. I guess I must have totally messed up the body? since the tummy cover is squarish what should my stitch gauge be?
I wouldn't worry about gauge, not with amigurumi anyway. The problem isn't from tight stitches. I think you're missing a few rows or stitches or the yarn weight is much lighter than what you used for the dragon's body. Or like you suggested, maybe you added rows to the body and it's now longer than it should be. There's a playlist of videos that go through every single part of the dragon. I would visit this blog post, there I tell you which would be the best parts to start with if you haven't made many amigurumi projects before www.amigurumitogo.com/2016/06/the-dragon-pattern-on-youtube-video.html
Merci encore
I tried to post on Facebook but I can not when I try my phone says no memory. even though I have massive amounts of memory I can email you pictures if I had an email
I have a question regarding tummy patch I made two just for practice and my tummy patches are no way near as long or as wide as the ones you are applying in the putting the Dragon together tutorial?if I align the top of the tummy patch with the top of the body neck, I have like two and a half inches of the body at the bottom of the tummy patch? in your video it looks like it should be maybe only four rows left of body front showing? I followed Ali g in tutorial when making it? Plus I read written instructions?
the written instructions say ch21, yes. You have to use the same hook size you used to make your dragon's body with and also the same yarn weight you used to make the body with. Maybe you missed a row or 2? Did you follow the video to make it? If it's not long enough, just stretch it out. Yarn stretches very easily, then pin it in place to hold it there while you sew it together.
Yes I made two for practice they don't look like you tummy patch I used same crochet hook 4.25mm same exact yarn top of my tummy patch only four stitches wide about an inch. I tried stretching it but there is no way it will fit the length? Have about three inches of body showing at bottom? I have sixteen ridges in my tummy patch.
Mine seems like it needs seven or eight more rows to fit. Does that mean I made my body too long? I made everything with the videos counted my stitches
I made your bunnies and my son wishes me to start a dragon too. Since I do not use facebook, I probably can't show you my bunnies. I found the bunnies easy to follow, this seams a little more tricky but good videos.
Alicia Blanco yo digo lo mismo que todos estos tutoriales lo deberían de traducir al español sus trabajos están muy bonito por fiz en español saludos desde el Estado de México 🥺🙋🏻♀️
