The Last of Us Part II's combat OST is unlike anything I've ever heard. It is the most haunting, intense soundtrack that really lets the violence take it's grasp. All in all, it's great. Really fucking great.

When you're in the zone and clearing a room, and some guy kills your friend because he saw a crack of you through a doorway and the track starts really going, it's just amazing. Lol. I remember the first time I played Valley Of The Dolls because the music made it such an intense experience to get through the house. Appreciate your response. It brings the mists of Ravenloft with it, moving unseen, luring brave hearted fools and hopeful souls alike; to a grizzly and agonizing death. The Nevirmoor lurks, hark the call of it’s whisper, the wail of Death comes swiftly. [The players will delve into its lair next week, I’ve been using this track for brief cat-and-mouse encounters leading up to this point. The tension is Thick]
So sorry! Just now seeing this. It is an unreleased track from the scene where Abby is running from the horde. I recorded the song by turning down all other sounds in the game but the music. Bethesda could stand to take a few notes from this series, no pun intended. (I.e. 4:37 - 5:00 ) Fallout is fun but the soundtrack kinda sucks and combat with zombies and psychopaths should be tense and frightening not silly. Just my opinion.
Unfortunately there is no official release for this specific cue. It’s from the Abby’s beginning section with Joel and tommy. I had to turn down all other sound effects in game to isolate the music and record it. There is a UA-camr that uploaded the unreleased tracks from the game. Look up “the last of us part 2 the horde ost” and you should find it there. Sorry for the crazy late reply!

I know exactly what u mean. Never was really able to full immerse in fallout. It feels clunky and cheesy.
