Why don't you have a TV show? I stumbled on your videos by accident. I'm a 60 year old woman, raised in the Midwest. Not an adventurous person at all. Now, I'm wishing I had a life like yours. You're so fun to watch and so damn intelligent, athletic and funny. God got stuck giving you so much talent, son!! Damn!!!

🚂🚂🚂. My gramma carried a picture of my grandpa standing in front of a caboose just like this one. He was a brakeman for years and in a freak accident lost his arm. Took hours to set him free and nearly died. My gram couldn’t handle all the moods he’d have later and while he was out with the boys took her three kids and jumped on a train for California. Before she died she game a trunk with journals he had kept. I nearly cried reading all his feelings as he searched for her and his family. Sadly one week before I found where he lived at MO/OK state line he had died. One year after gram had died too. Amazing stories about the train rides across country and how he loved to wave to all the kids from the caboose. Everything really fell in place for you as you acquired it and sure did a great job redoing it and preserving it too. I could envision him in that seat waving to kids. Don’t know how I happened onto your videos but I have a rough time sleeping at night and have thoroughly enjoyed watching many of your older videos while staying up. I applaud you for keeping up with your comments cuz that’s time consuming. I do hope you’ll be able to read this cuz this video was months ago. I wish to say that your place and all the work you’ve put into it is incredible. Do you have a degree in architecture or engineering? Your home is fitted with details the common man wouldn’t know how to do. And how you blended the ring and hangar is amazing. The security system you designed has so much detail it blows my mind. This is surely a forever home and ranch to be lived in and the land to be worked hopefully by your kids and grandkids forever in the future. So many places are just abandoned cuz it’s too much work. You apparently have lived a full life in the past with dreams of what you’ve created already. And that’s what I always get excited about.....the history and the hopes for this awesome place called home. We trained showed and bred 48 horses and AI was new discovery. Also knew a lady in Maryland that was using zebras and donkeys to clone her famous purebred Arabians from Poland. She kept them hidden way deep on her ranch cuz wasn’t acceptable at the time. When we bred horses it had to be done in a protective area so neighbors or public couldn’t see or county would fine you or shut you down if reported. In the 70s the AI was suppose to help the many stallions that had severe injuries from a wild mare breaking the tie downs and give a deadly kick. But then it was used for other things such as traveling a distance for a costly breeding leaving either horse there until the mare conceived. Always looking for the perfect pedigree and a lot of fails. We had a huge cattle run for many miles we’d always go on from the mountains to near San Diego and that included a chuck wagon like you have. Our dogs were trained like yours and today I still miss them. So many of the videos I’ve seen reminds me of distant time. A life I’d loved until an awful accident. No complaints about hard work and early rising although like you I hated the constant rain and snow and icy winds. A good sweat was better cus knew I’d be able to cool down. Your operation is so much larger but the work is the same. But the joys taking the small kids along like you did with your grandson those are moments never forgotten. Adding your helicopters has to be so exciting for them. In time that little guy will yearn and beg you to teach him cuz the freedom of the skies. The hard winter will be here soon and you’ll wish to ignore that damn clock. Once working and smelling the air and seeing what you own miles of land around you......then you’ll know how blessed you are. I miss that so now I’ll follow you and dream of what I once had and just the feeling of the great outdoors. Sorry this is long but I’ve really enjoyed watching all your videos and those I haven’t seen yet. You have a calming way of presenting yourself and so much to share. I am looking forward to next time and many more. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

You did a nice job on the restoration remodel. As a former conductor I have spent a little time in these. They were already removed from regular service during my career but we did occasionally use them as a shoving platform for taking a train in a reverse movement for a longer distance than one would want to ride the side of a boxcar. You were spot on with your information about it.

We Know a Family In Tx That Has a 200 ft long Building that every 20ft wall section tilts up and open ..
and on one end there's a complete Tire shop and Mechanic shop and fully stocked Parts House for all Equipment and vehicles
They own .. Hoses, Belts, Tires, Lights, alternators, radiators Etc... Its Crazy.. 64 thousand acres They live six miles off of the Highway
And everything is converted to natural gas....Jason Represents Texas Well, Texas Is the best Country on Earth...!! I love being a Texan

Love the caboose. You know how to do things with class and style. It's a terrible waste when trains derail. Even if nothing is wrong with stuff, they won't let you buy it. A lot of trains loaded with new cars derailed in Nebraska. They wouldn't sell any.

My buddy has two, they left one almost all original with the hanging “bunks” built a small porch between the two and the other they put in a small kitchen and a “master” bunk… makes for great ranch weekends and get togethers. I’ve been jealous ever since I seen them!

Brings back memories. My father worked for the SantaFe railroad from prior to his enlistment in the Army during WWII until his death at age 55 due to left over shrapnel. Loved the classic calendars we would receive every year.
