What a find!! Nice stuff for sure
Thanks so much! It really was a spectacular find, sometimes you just get lucky I guess!
That is so true ! One time I was thrifting In a store that I hadn’t ever gone to before and I looked in the jewelry section and I thought what would it be like to find gold or silver. Then I spotted a really nice brooch and looked on the back it was signed 14k ! It was crazy. Very lucky. It’s a circular one with a swoosh in the middle with a pearl
@@keberharkeberhar9067 Wow that’s what the hunt is all about finding gold is the best 😁
Definitely! Its a very nice one. Hope to find more eventually
I'm an old Japanese man, thank you for the good video.
I think the plate written in kanji is probably a plate attached to a small ship.
The meaning is probably
From the top, "Nanki" is the company name (south planning), and "zousen" (shipbuilding). Finally, the ship number 525.
I also saw some nostalgic items. It's "jerricanlighter". This is something I wanted as a kid back in the 1970s because I thought it was cool.
I look forward to more interesting videos.
That sounds about right, my friend told me the same thing! What’s interesting is I researched some WW2 Japanese shipwrecks, and there was a ship that was sunk by a fighter plane called “Nanki No.5” or something along those lines, I wonder if this tag has any relation to that ship or the shipbuilder. Well, thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed it and thanks for subscribing! 😊
it says "gainen" or tanen" no#525
Are you talking about the Japanese tag?
@@ResellingHistoryAZ yes. i used my web translater. on my cell phone- it is not fully correct....
@@soonersciencenerd383 interesting thanks for the info! I actually found out from a Japanese friend it’s a WWII era ship builder or worker tag most likely 😊
@@ResellingHistoryAZ nice!😀
