    The problem with the key is that there are two interfaces right now to a lot of devices. USBA and USBC. However if you're in a managed equipment system, that can be mitigated.
    In terms of theft, it's no different than losing your building keys. Only difference is it's easier to disable a fob's access than to re-key all the doors. And plus with a fob you can see logs of if a fob was used after it was lost and where, assisting with breach investigations.
