Please do not stop doing that marvellous work you proved again to have been doing. The recent four CRTs are (again) blowing my mind. And blow they do, but out of the water, looking at all previous VS fighting games on the C64, now paling in comparison and looking like their only real purpose in the first place seem to always have been to once serve as a punching bag for your game's characters. ;)
simply amazing! i dont think any other c64 game could come close in terms of the features and content on display here. if there were an oscars for gaming you should win it .
Very nice. I like the little guy playing the games in the background at 4:36 in the video. His little head movement reminds of Quagmire in Family Guy.. Giggity Giggity! 😂
Question. I can't get this to run on C64 Mini. That's the background, not the question :) Question: if the MD2 cartridge project is completed, and you get your VICE mod approvedb by the official VICE team, would it be hardware/technically possible for the C64 mini to run this provided the RetroGames Ltd. (Manufacturer of the C64 Maxi/Mini) provide a necessary .bin update? I know you can't speak for RetroGames or the Mini/Maxi but as essentially a VICE device, do you think my scenario would be realistic?
Yes, that's what I hope. If the project will get approved, the VICE team can include it in the cartridge type catalogue and then in other emulators/platforms as well.
@mortenera2294 definitely. Always loved the music on the SF and SNK games, makes a big difference to the feel and intensity. Would also be a reason to mod my C64 with a dual SID!
@@ruvalolowa_2110 Theorically I can, anyway the VICE distribution I made can be approved by the official VICE team if the MagicDesk 2 cartridge project get completed. Honestly I count on this.
You should download the C64 and C128 cores first. Then, for each version of the game, you have to load the relative core and select the .crt game file. Anyway, I suggest you to use the VICE emulator directly, since it is the most accurate CBM platforms emulator that permits you to refine some specific settings.
@@alexgee365 surely it's nothing related to my game, if your emulator crashes it depends only on the emulator itself. Did you tried with VICE too? Be sure to download always the latest version of anything (RetroArch too if you wish to use it).
@@alexgee365I didn't see that your comment was put for the Stronger Edition, I just realized it now 😅 By the way, as explained in the video itself, the Stronger Edition needs a modded version of the VICE emulator that you can find in the description section of this video. So for now you can't run this edition in RetroArch because it doesn't have the right core yet.
