The interior is great in creating a bright space but still with dark elegance. The exterior looks like a suburban setting that does not fit the beauty of the home. In a wooded location like this, the close landscape would look and feel much better if it were much more organic with colorful native plants. Especially in winter the colors of red, greens, white and black make a very stunning view out all of these large windows. The best plant palette will also bring winter wildlife right to the home for an incredible interaction. Lastly, a much more natural body of water will be home to very colorful native trout that can be active all winter. People can enjoy the great natural outdoors without even reaching for a jacket. I know this because I grew up in such a place and it inspires my life's work.
