- In this follow up video to the Arizona Aviary built over old Citrus tree, we find out about the prolonged 2019 winter, the required patience on WHEN you can introduce bird to an aviary, and see the ever changing interior of an aviary in progress, including new perches, solar fountain, hose extender, and sprouting vegetation.
New additions to the aviary...
Rosella Parrots
Button Quail
Scarlet Chested Grasskeets (aka: Splendid Parrots)
English Budgerigars (English Budgies, or Fat Parakeets)
Those are some very happy birds
Wow!!!! Everything is just beautiful 🥰
You do have a nice colorful collection of hook bills. Thanks for sharing
Awesome aviary with beautiful birds, we need longer update videos. Good work!
Very beautiful!
Thanks! :)
Loved it. Live in Chicago. Wonder, how can I make it survive winter ???? Any idea
Are the rosella OK with the other birds?
Why the button quail you said to keep the bottom nice and clean do they eat the waist or just the food that falls over?
They eat spilled seeds and bugs.
😍🔥❤👍
I just found your channel and saw your grasskeet pair as I have been looking to get one of these awesome birds as a pet? I was wondering if you have had any babies and would be willing to sell me one ? :)
Hi Jenna, thanks for watching! I’m sorry, I don’t have any grasskeets available... :/
Thank you so much for getting back to me :). I think I might try the Tuscon Bird expo coming up :) thank you again, Jen
I didn’t know you were local! Keep your eye on Craigslist, there is a man in Chandler that breeds them, and posts listings for them a couple of times a year... Also, The Arizona Bird Store in Mesa occasionally has some, you might also try The Tropic Zone in Phoenix... best of luck, they are a very beautiful bird! Their chip is not very loud, but it can be a little striking in the mornings... when we had them in the house, the male would chirp at sunrise every morning, even when his cage was covered...
Awwwwww that is so adorable. Thank you so much for the suggestions! I'll try to look at those two bird stores. I'm going into Mesa for a doc apt. on Tuesday. Thanks for the city on CL that narrows it down a lot. :) Thanks again for all the help. :)
Them rossellas are stunning when I had birds I had them and all types of birds but I gave birds up now and gone into fish great video tho don't put the rossellas in with other birds because they will rip the beaks of budgies ect
