Thanks Chris for solving my puzzlebox pen. Spoiler alert, I just insert screw into the black cylinder casing and reinsert the pen barrel. Now you have a tool which you can put into the upper pen, turn a few times until resistance is felt and pull out the nylon teflon cylinder, Wallah! Your variation is cool too. One day you may get your hands on my latest ze Tooth Fairy Puzzle box. 10 move sequential discovery tooth looking structure , remove the drawer ( like a bandsaw box). Last step you have to do root canal surgery. A good puzzle for my dental colleagues and puzzle friends, you won't be dissapointed, cheers,You make me famous,,,,Stephen Chin from Sydney Australia
It's voila not Wallah they mean very different things im not sure you knew
Thanks I use wallah like a trademark in my solutions to my puzzles I make
Thats super cool. Seems like a normal pen
This is mine

One of the first times watching a puzzle where I had an idea for the solution before you. I kept saying “put the screwdriver in the end of the pen tube! then put the pen together!”
Yes! I came up with the same thing!
Same. Given a screw you need a socket… why not go look for it?
Well thanks for ruining it for me
@@JamesB-oc7nm That’s your fault for taking the risk reading the comments before the video was over.
I had exactly the same, and I rarely get it.
Super cool! Definitely a small part of me was thinking how it would be kind of darkly funny if you got scammed on it, but obviously the actual outcome was way cooler.
I am so glad you found more of these super well made puzzles. I know it can be hard to but I have never been a fan of those cheaper wood puzzles you have done a few of. This pen was amazing
That went from "I think he got scammed" to " Whoa that is awesome" 😂
The funny thing is that I am pretty sure that this is just a pen. It's been modified to act as a puzzle-box, but I think the plastic plug, screw, and driver bit were just added to normal pen hardware.
Chris would make an excellent programmer! The way he evaluates, debugs the puzzle and fights through to the solve! Awesome video!
If someone hasn't mentioned, the hole in the side of the ink well is for airflow. The ink won't run otherwise as there would be an airlock
Plus pens have to be put in a centrifuge during production to enable ink flow. Many moons ago used to do maintenance building work on a local pen factory CONWAY STEWART and really interesting to see the processes in producing a simple everyday object.
Looks like a foil back, though I might've just been seeing the reflections of light off the bottom facets as silvery. If it's completely clear, you'd have to look at it under a loupe or have it tested.
Fantastic! I was on the fence for a bit about it being just a regular pen too! Such a cool secret puzzle
Very cool puzzle! I love the fact that you have to take the whole thing apart and then build something from the parts to solve it.
That piece on the cap end looks like a stylus so you can reverse the pen and use on your phone/tablet. You asked what it was for and I had to comment my thoughts
The description he read of it did mention that. A pretty easy thing to overlook or ignore.
Glad that you were able to . . . pen 🖊 this into your schedule
😎
Best part is that the puzzle has an actual use other than something to hide stuff in.
As a person who took apart and reassembled pens constantly in school, I love this puzzle, worth the risk of being scammed 😂
I think he also flung the diamond into deep space at the very end
He puts the diamond back into the end of the pen
Don't know if someone else commented it already, but if the stylus part is actually functional then the "screw" is likely made of copper or other similarly conductive material and is what actually "clicks" capacitive touchscreens, whereas the rubber/silicone is there to protect the screen from getting scratched by the metal.
The simplicity makes it the most genius
That was fun to watch, and again your original curiosity to a puzzle comes through again. Whats Me love this channel and ps still play with hour CR puzzle I got from you , can't wait to see if you made another puzzle but also one day soon hope to have the escape puzzle box you have with those cards ❤
Probably one of the coolest puzzles in my opinion
Already loving it Chris! Huge fan of the quirky puzzles!
Cool puzzle, thank you
So many times he said, "This is just a really expensive pen," or "How is this a sequential puzzle?" As an armchair quarterback, I kept yelling, "Check the black piece!" Nice puzzle, and fun to watch someone else be frustrated.
Wait, are all pens puzzles?!
That is a Hot dang ol' good hiding spot! Nice solve! It musta been frustrating fiddling with those small pieces! Thanks for the videos!!!!
I was sitting here screaming at you to combine the small pieces because I use to turn pens into 'dart guns' in high school. Basically you remove the spring from the ink cartridge, put it on the other end of the cartridge where the clicker was then pull down on the cartridge and aim it at something and let go. You could sometimes launch them across a room with the right spring. Got in trouble on several occasions but never kicked out of class. My science teachers loved to hate me for being so creative. 🤣
THE 007 MUSIC during the reveal was perfect 😎
Hey chris i know you dont do magic stuff anymore but.. man your magic comedy skits are hilarious!!..You have amazing humor.
Dude this channel is awesome, but on discovery of you, i have also discovered an apparent anxiety related to watching someone solve a puzzle that I can’t get my hands on. Honestly it was making me itch. I don’t know wether to subscribe or never watch again… argh haha
The commercial at the beginning was a product called la Rogue Pooja and I can't stop laughing
what a genius solution. that is totally like old JamesBond style gadget, where you put the zippo insert back inside the case backwards and it turns into a grenade or something. very cool!
Can always tell when you like the puzzle you’re doing. Awesome reaction at the end
That’s some sneaky squirrel stuff! Very cool!
As a pen maker, this is fabulous and super easy to build.
Cool puzzle pen 🖊 spy design
First time I ever yelled at the TV while watching you lol
Most of the video: "I think I've been bamboozled."
By the end of the video: 😮
Loved this puzzle,
❤
Loved watching you work through your emotion
This was awesome! One of my favorites!
This is awesome!
I first thought thats a joint in a tube 😅
This was a fun one to watch!
That was an awesome puzzle, very different
Very cool puzzle
Lol I find it funny that he has avada kedavra tattooed on his middle finger
avidi kadivi 🪄
I want to get his 3AQ7 tattoo
I figured out the pen screw drifer fittin together im startin to think id be decent at puzzles i may have to get 1
That is freakin' dope!
Had the same idea with the screwdriver lol nice puzzle.
Considering that is a pretty basic puzzle compared to your other bigger ones, this is one of my favorite ones I think its just very unique
Now that’s cool
The *PEN* is mightier than the *RAMSAY,* at least for the first 15+ minutes
Cool! And when you mentioned "lock" puzzle, I was reminded of all the lock puzzles you once did. Any chance of a new lock puzzle?
That is a brilliant idea for a puzzle
❤❤❤ love you Chris keep it up!
Not dang! That was fun to watch you solve! :)
That was a cool puzzle! Especially because everything about it looks like a normal pen except the last piece 👌
Awesome vid, as ever ! tricky little bugger tho' 😀
And now, we watch Chris take a pen apart
That was awesome. I want one so bad! I think he just used a normal pen kit and did some awesome mods to it. Wow!
Been watching your videos for almost 3 years, love them all, any labsterium project coming up soon
That was sick. I like these.
I get such a giggle talking and tapping my screen pointing at things to try :D
Been watching your channel for a while and this is the first time I’ve caught one of your videos so soon after you’ve posted. Really awesome work Chris! You’re a master at your craft thank you 😊
HAHAHAH that was the greatest puzzle solve ever!!!
Very interesting!
The rubber on the back of the pen is a phone/tablet stylus. More precision than your finger, though not quite as much as a pen-stylus that uses a pointed tip
Desde Guadalajara de España soy Carlos me ha gustado mucho 😮😊
That is such a satisfying solution!
what a elegant puzzle.
Chris на "Стиле"🤘
that is awesome!
The film burn transition made me feel funny inside.. I like it
Very cool!
I'd love to see your friends trying to open this one xD
I love your videos but I get so frustrated at times! "Use the screw! No, no there! Of course it's a flathead! Ugh!" 🤣😅 Too bad I can't afford any of these puzzle, I'll stick to complain through the screen lol
this is one of the coolest puzzles i've ever seen! honestly, i'd have gave up and thought i got scammed 🤣😅
This was cool 😮
The music on this video is everything love your vids!❤
I once bought seeds online and they mailed me a pen with the seeds wrapped in plastic lined up in a row and hidden inside the spring of the pen! 😄😇
They were AMAZING seeds! 💨 😂
I would've loved to have this pen in class lol
imagine the precision design it must've taken to create this thing
I have a habit of taking apart (and reassembling) pens. I feel like this one might actually be one that I could have solved!
thats really cool.
lol i felt like he was gonna stop
@ 08:14
Chris: And really, like, not much else to look at.
Me: Jeez Chris, you’re starting to sound like my wife.
I was like “this one’s going to be good” and the poof, it was!🤘
Hehe was thinking of the solution the moment you removed the pen cartridge and had the loose screw
Im making my prediction at 12:28 seconds take screw place inside of black screw cap that was on the ink cartridge place cap back on ink cartridge replace back inside of pen casing so the screw is protruding through the small hole in black cap reassemble to line up screw with hole open pen which should screwn in the screw a bit remove ink cartridge then finish screwing in the screw to open end cap
Edit: IM GLAD I PAUSED IT WHEN I DID TO MAKE MY GUESS CAUSE I WAS SPOT ON WHOOOOOOOT
that pen has a great vibe lol!! coolest pen ever!!!!!!!!!
Oh man I really thought you got taken for a ride there which made the solution all the better.
Beautiful! Very elegant strongbox.
Best diamond storage pen since Hotel Artemis :D
that was dumb but those yuu asaka type puzzles are awesome
Nice!
Stick with the puzzles dude! Its your true calling! You are a Puzzle Master!
Of course, if you really wanted the diamond, you could just destroy the pen... :)
surprised you didnt spin it or beat on it.
Great vid.
Be right back, gonna go start taking random inkpens apart in my office.
I'll be darned, I was skeptical for a while... 😎
I started thinking after he was taking it apart that the joke would be on us if we are just watching him take a part a pretty but normal pen. 😂
Dude this whole time I was like... Yo it's straight up just a pen
Dunno why but this is my favourite puzzle to date
My neighbors think I’m nuts. I’m yelling, “Put the screwdriver in the end of the pen!!!! THEN PUT OT TOGETHERRRRRRRR!!!!” Lmao!
