The production and the quality of the content in this video is compared to big TV channels in my country.😍
What an AWESOME compliment 💫🙏🏼 Wonderful to hear from you @amiramnoamdoron, thank you for reaching out
Your production quality is astounding!
Thank you Sir very much appreciate the words of encouragement💫
Always great to read your comments @checkmate8015👊🏾
Durian from malaysia is the best in the world especially musang king. Every variety taste different. Best place to test durians is at Durian BB park. SS2 is outside kl called petaling jaya. Durian BB park puts several varieties on a long plate with a cute small flag to identify it. Thai durian taste different coz they are harvested half ripe. Malaysia let it drop onto nets.
Thanks for this Keang…. Next time I’m in Kuala Lumpur I’m gonna have to get you to host me😎🤔
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector lol i live far away sir. Anyway if in season, you may get to taste several varieties in one place without buying the whole fruit at Durian BB park. Well known varieties are:
Musang king - a popular variety
Red Prawn
D24
Teka
101
Black thorn - most expensive
Kampung durian or village durian, not so glamourous
Thank you my friend👊🏾
i really liked this one, who would have thought that one can go on a fragrance journey in malasia!!!... thanks for the video,- and excellent production values as usual
I love that 'smells' are everywhere and Malaysia is popping when it comes to smells that are throughout the city...it's the heat that makes everything come alive!!
So happy that you enjoyed this episode; was so much fun to run around with Leila, she was an awesome host💫
Great to hear from you Philip👊🏽
I love travel videos and Kuala Lumpar looks amazing. Leila also seems like such a nice person and also a very good host, travel mixed with fragrance, what is there not to love haha.
your initial reaction to durian 😂 something i need to try in the future.
Leila was awesome to hang out with. No matter what question I asked, she always knew the answer
And she was totally in love with that Durian….whereas for me, not so much😒
Thanks for reaching out and jumping into the conversation @VideoGameGuru1997👊🏾
Hola Marcelo!.. great video. Love following the adventures. Cannot wait for more.
Next time around this side of Europe, let me know!..we can have some Mate together ;)
Un abrazo gigante
Ricardo
Hola Ricardo always good to hear from you my Homie👊🏾
Yes, the plan is to be in Italy in March… So definitely will be planning some fragrance adventures around there.
I’ll announce some dates in the coming week as I plan to be in Milan for Exsence🙌🏽🔥
Would be cool to meet in Sempione Park for a mate altogether!
Great to hear from you Ricardo, looking forward to possibly meeting with you face-to-face next year💫😎
Frigin love this video!! Love the comic book vibe you had going on
Super cool adventure! Not so sure about that durian though
Boom Baby!!⚡️ One day you have to try Durian....that way you can enjoy the rollercoaster of flavours😋🤢
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your explorations in KL.
You're welcome!!! In truth I had an awesome time filming and creating it😬 Thanks for reaching out, wonderful to hear from you
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Thank u too. 😁
For your information, the guide to durians in south east asia is written by american lindsay gasik titled 'the year of the durian'. She is based in penang island i think.
The next time I’m in Kuala Lumpur I am going to do this again… I actually wanna fall in Love with Durian🥰
Killer production!
Thank you Sir💫🙏🏼 very much appreciate you reaching out @DCMetroGecko
Wow just amazing. I like ur stuff
Thank you Jashandeep! Appreciate you reaching out… thank you for the support👊🏾
Love from Bangladesh 👉🔔❤️🇧🇩🇧🇩🇧🇩
Thanks for reaching out! Big love back to you for Australia 🇦🇺 💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector brother I want to Go Australia please Visa information
I have no idea…my best recommendation is to visit the Australian Government website. I’m sorry that I don’t know anymore regarding this
That was one cool video, Marcelo. Thank you for sharing it 👊🏽
Glad you enjoyed it Juan! Was a fun experience and Leila is super cool to hang out with....thanks for reaching out homie👊🏽
Glad you enjoyed your stay! Would be great to see you visit Thailand and all their niche houses.
Regarding gentle fluidity, they’re supposed to be genderless. I heard and interview with Francis where he said the original name was Gender fluidity, but executives were concerned about distribution. Awesome thing was that he used the exact ingredients in both but different proportions to project warm and cool. Turns out the cool feels more masculine, but that wasn’t his intention. I agree the Gold feels quite feminine, but I’ll give it a go as a guy. It’s dna reminds me of Montale intense cafe.
I love this insight into Gentle Fluidity and this makes sense. Francis is an incredible perfumer that he can use the same notes but managed in a different composition to create 2 unique fragrance's...I love the thought and mastery of this!🧡
Greatly appreciate you reaching out @lansvale28 and yes I will need to visit Thailand!! Would love to gain your recommendations on some Thai niche houses that you love.
Hello this is Latonya love when you take us around different Niche stores and taking us inside love your Channel I am new to Niche keep coming out with the great videos
Always good to hear from you Latonya, and so happy that you’re enjoying these episode’s…they’re fun to make and it makes me happy that others are enjoying them.
Thank you for your support my friend, very much appreciated💫👊🏾
that looked a fun day out, that street food looked nice but that smelly fruit is a big no! never been to mayaysia but it looks a very nice place, take care Marcelo
Malaysia is awesome. And Kuala Lumpur is an exciting dynamic big city. The food in this town is amazing… So diverse, so cheap, and so so good😋
And yes durian is also a big no for me too😂
You'll have to try Musang King, rated best durian in the world. Also the most expensive durians in the world are in Malaysia.
Actually we did order the Musang king… Leila mentioned to me that this was the best, so I only want the best😬
The problem is, this was my first time tasting Durian and I wasn’t ready for its awesomeness⚡️🔥
Great to hear from you my friend
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Sure, great that you got the best. Stay safe. Cheers!
Thank you, same to you 💫
The stones give out energy. In order to clean it, you must go to the speciaty store. They will put it in a very large bowl. There is a tool whereby it will be rub inside the bowl around the side of the bowl. There will be a sound, a vibrating sound like a gong.
I love this Keang, The next time I am in Kuala Lumpur I’m gonna have to do this do you know any good places?
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Crystal corner@suria klcc
Crystal corner has branches in malaysia. I went with a friend who came back from japan once to "clean" and restring the hand band(bracelet). That was near my house. You can try at suria klcc. It is more convenient for you. The shop that sold you the hand band(bracelet) doesn't do cleansing? Yes you need to restring after awhile as wear and tear will make the string degrade overtime.
Thank you Keang for sharing this…when I return to KL I’m going straight here⚡️
Thank you my friend 🙏🏼
❤ I thoroughly enjoyed the cultural trip to KL! Leila seems like a really cool tour guide. Haha, your love-hate reaction to durian. 😂 There’s a place called Davao in the Philippines that’s famous for it. I remember that most hotels (if not all) there prohibit bringing in the fruit for obvious reasons. When I was living in the Philippines, my mom used to visit Davao once a year and sometimes bring me back durian. Mine came already cut up and packed in takeaway airtight containers. It tasted like the creamiest ice cream when cold and I loved it, haha! Apparently the locals know how to pack it really well so it doesn’t stink, but I think the Davao airport also makes some exceptions on bringing the whole fruit subject to certain packaging requirements(I forgot now). Curious how did the camera lady find the durian? 🤔😊
I really feel that I need to try durian again… This is something that I need to conquer as so many people have written in about their love for the fruit (The truth is it took me by surprise😵)
In the end, the camera lady did not try, I did offer her some but she was like “no way!”😂
Good to hear from you my friend
Iove these adventures! I don't think I could eat something that smells as bad as Durian apparently does. I think the clue it shouldn't be eaten is in the fact nobody's making a killing selling fragrances with a Durian note.
Can you imagine a perfume with a distinct Durian vibe?? This would be the ultimate in beast mode🤢
Actually the only one to pull it off with be Alessandro Gualtierri….even then it would be unwearable (but very chic)
Great to hear from you Lee👊🏾
Love it mate! I have grown up with Durian around me but I cannot get passed the smell 😂😂 So well done on trying it.
The smell is something that needs to be experienced, because "how bad can it really be??" Right???
It's stinky! And then you get that flavour profile as you're eating it🤢 Sometimes sweet and fruity...and sometimes like you've got a spoonful of vomit😑
But it was fun! And I would have to do it again! Leila was loving it! She ate most of it, so it must be good!
Great to hear from you Michael👊🏽
Mate I know exactly what you mean. My Nan and Mum love it. Just thinking of it now makes me feel sick! The soft texture doesn’t help with the pungent smell… but its funny looking at peoples reactions… 😂 you did well to keep it alive
I didn’t want to overexaggerate the intense flavour and pungent smell that this fruit has… Plus I didn’t want to be rude next to Leila who incidentally loves durian… But the flavour on this thing was crazy bizarre and wild 😖
But I have a feeling that I need to try it again, maybe next time it won’t be as bad🧐
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector good luck bro.. Trust me its really not worth it..🥴😂🤣
I feel that I need to ‘conquer’ this😂 at the end of the video Leila says “defeated”…. I have to change this!
Nice vídeo
So happy that you enjoyed this episode Irene! Thanks for reaching out💫
Very cool, living it up.
Yes Sir, living it up😇 Great to hear from you Jae
Nice editing, I remember being on a trip and you couldn’t even take durian on public transportation
Thank you Sir! Glad you enjoyed this episode💫 BTW that's still the case in KL. There are signs around the place that say
"NO DURIAN"😆
Come to Indonesia !!!!
Yep, totally! Any recommendations? Especially when it comes to some local niche fragrance house's...?
Great to hear from you Satria👊🏽
total useful ~ amigo!🖖
Grazie 💫🙏🏼⚡️👊🏾
The first time I had durian, it was creamy and sweet with an underlying gym socks flavor, lol.
Mmm, my favourite flavour profile🤢 This is why we all go back for more! It's that contrast of flavour...both creamy and sweet, mixed in with the putrid and vile (yummy😂)
im malaysian. i dont like durian. but there are 5,000 other tropical fruits we can enjoy. life is rich 😁
And I think that I ate just about 4,500 of those😋 I couldn’t stop eating mangosteen and rumbutan 💫❤️
And then there is the local food!!!!❤️🥰 I had a wonderful time in your country Macd
Great ;)
Thank you❤️💫
I have heard many comments about durian from westerners. Here are some:
1. Eating cherry in the toilet
2. Smell like hell, taste like heaven
3. Blue cheese of fruits
4. Wet gym socks
5. Sewerage smell
6. Rotten onions
7. Custard
8. Methane gas
For me it was a mixture of point number 3 and point number 7…. With point number 9, a sweet very intriguing fruit
I’m gonna have to do it again, I need to dominate this fruit…. So far it’s
Durian 1, Man 0
During my childhood I'm not like eating durian mostly especially their strong smell always keeps me dizzy & the texture looks a bit disgusting for me that time. Throwback, while during my childhood...most of my family especially my parent, cousins quite big fan excited.. love so much when during durian season come. But remembered that time me and my sibling (my brother too) is just not the durian fan yet 🤭😅.But after long time, getting older now I've would say that finally I'm feel OK with the 'durian' . Allahuakbar..Terima Kasih Allah SWT, Alhamdulilllah 🙌 appreciate them. Finally couldn't insist now when grew up.. laterally becomes fans 💜 durian today 😂, King's Fruit of Malaysia🇲🇾.Just very Proud of Malaysia 🇲🇾 Durian👍😆😍.Malaysia's 🇲🇾Pride🤗💜👍
As we are mature and our taste buds develop we become more appreciative of the things that our parents enjoyed when we were children.
There are many things that my parents ate when I was a child that I was disgusted at the time, which I now love and enjoy🥰
I know that when I return to Malaysia I will try durian again! I know that next time I will enjoy the flavour more…. I hope 🤞🏼 😅
Wonderful to hear from you and so good to hear your love for Malaysia and also the king of fruits 💫❤️
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector yes agreed 👍 🤭😅
Chad
Thank you....?
Looks like you two had a fun time! I've always wanted to go to Malaysia, but may give durian a hard pass! Thanks as always for sharing your travel adventures, great and small. And congratulations on the steady climb to over 12k subscribers. Seems as if you're adding about 1k people every six weeks or so. Good job.....see you next time!
Thank you Fred! Yes this was an awesome adventure, and Leila is super cool to hang out with💫😎
I too am excited to see the steady climb with subscribers, grateful for the support from everyone🙏🏼
And as you know next year will be in the USA… So looking forward to doing a fragrance adventure in your part of the world, maybe you could host? 🤔🙏🏼

Great to hear from you Julio and yes this was a lot of fun to experience and bring to life…. It is a lot of work but in the end when I watch the fun vibe of these episodes, It’s worth the energy💫🎉
By the way your scent of the day is one of my all-time favourites! Great to hear from you my friend
👍
Thank you🙌🏽💫
Durian is the only fruit that's creamy and delicious but smells like a shitty diaper.
Still amazing but DEFINITELY an acquired taste.
You've just described it perfectly. Totally weird that it can be both of those things!
Was a fun experience, and feel that I need a Round 2 with this...now that I know what it's about. Great to hear from you @WireHedd
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector It makes an amazing ice cream honestly. Give that a try for round 2 if you want to take the experience up a notch.
It's a unique flavour in the same way Indian Kulfi (Tom Ford Extreme note) where you get these tangential flavours that you would NEVER expect to be good yet they are.
Gave your channels a plug during the Real Men Real Style live stream yesterday too. 👍
Well god made the best stuff to be nauseating to avoid being damaged by animals (protective thorns and pungent smell)
@@keangwooichoo6138 Tell that to the squirrel that will poke a hole just the size of the durian seed to feast on it.
@@MM-tj3ko i know worms do that. Squirrels never seen.
The street boutiques that sell all those designer frags are they knockoffs or the real deal?
Hmmm, I wonder🤔 my comment at the time was very much tongue in cheek. I think the only ‘real thing’ in the area was the good local street food😬
No. Fake
