Thank you for your splendid videos. Watching your wolf video i wondered why you first fill in the underlyer with strokes of pastel pencil and than cover it with pan pastel.

I've been watching your tutorials for past few days and I'm going to invest in some pastels and give them a try. New to this so thank you for such great videos. I'll see how I get on before committing to patreon.
Ps do you work flat or upright on an easel?
