Hearing Sugita talk like this it's no surprise he chose to start his own agency, I think he'll really help a lot of new voice actors make it into the business.
Sugita loves his job and care deeply about the industry. Its kinda refreshing seeing that kinf of person

But even then, I don't think Joseph is Gintoki at all. Joseph is way too passionate and cocky whereas Gintoki would avoid all work in the world if he could. If Joseph and Gintoki faced a problem, Joseph would try and fix it but run away if he fails, and Gintoki would avoid it until the problem shows up at his doorstep. The only thing similar about them is that they put up a face of being idiots, but are actually geniuses.

@@Alberich_Prince_of_Dwarves I can hear it, but I cannot at the same time. Polnareff’s VA fits him so well, and Joseph seems too aggressive at times. Though Sugita would’ve done well, and he did as Joseph, and I like it.
@@Swagmaster1102 Truly, the voice cast for the japanese dub of JJBA is amazing. I do like Kamiya Hiroshi as Rohan better than Sakurai-san, but it's a very close tie and both have their merits.

Sugibro's really deep, almost philosophical way of thinking is something I respect for.

Sugita-san strikes me as the kind of person who is a senpai to everyone, regardless of their actual age. Like a mature, sensible man who puts out this aura of "let's get along and do our best" for every role he plays. I was pleasantly surprised that he really puts in so much effort and genuine care for his fellow seiyuu.
His oji-san persona doesn't fool me anymore!!! He truly is a reliable guy!

Sugita san always messes around and is generally a very comic guy, but when it comes down to it he really REALLY cares about his work, and I have such immense respect towards him and his work attitude.
I.e he's literally gintoki.

This channel was pretty much the only place to get consistent subbed sugita content too..
Now that Sugita has the Agrs channel, there's a bunch of content that can be subbed from that. One more reason to actually learn Japanese I guess. There are so many visual novels i'm missing out on and it sucks having to wait for stuff to get translated.
