I came to her channel for acting advice a few months maybe even a year ago... but listening to her speak on lives and in videos, she has much, much more information and wisdom to offer I hope one day she will just make a video about her goals/ambitions I would love that as I have much of the same goals and thoughts as her!

Man, Dolin gave some really good advice. It was a good wake up call for me. i Think he's seen a lot of talented people who struggle with issues of not being able to say no and stuff.

Question: Most actors that book a lead role in a popular tv show, they don’t book anything in between the filming. What I mean is they will film the show then the whole year that they aren’t filming they don’t book any jobs, is there any reason for that? If they have some type of contract then how do they make money during that year if they don’t book anything/audition for anything? Love your vids!!
Most likely because they wont have any time. When you are filming a tv show, it is very time consuming, and you are likely on set almost every single day of the week (with some days to memorize, rehearse, etc) :)
there are some exceptions to this, but generally when you're filming a project, you will work for very long hours, so there isn't any time left to work on something else. It is common though for actors to shoot a different movie straight after their previous one's finished. I know the question was for Makayla but I hope to have helped lol.

Well mainly bcuz just in case the show gets a Season 2 and well bcuz Ur the lead they need the lead to be open and not booked but that mostly on the first yr later on they can book movies bcuz they film faster than shows but yes that's just one explanation there's more
Since they are popular, they are most likely being paid really well. They could probably afford to take long breaks. (There could be other reasons too why they don’t work)
I wanted to become an actress, but is quite far of reach because my country is not that supporty for acting, but I really love this channel, love your work Makayla, keep doing it ✨️♥️

You can do anything it doesn’t matter where you live or who you are ! The United States might be more popular with This type of stuff but that doesn’t mean you can’t pursue your dreams without living there :)

I just got my first headshots done like 2 weeks ago, waiting for the edits to come back... this would’ve been sooo helpful because I felt a little tense like I had to look perfect. Although the makeup artist I booked and the photographer helped me to relax a bit more. I was in my head a lot 🤣
