This setting really brings you back to the 60's and 70's, the golden era of psychedelic music. The beach, the mountains in the background, music lovers grooving along with the tunes while rolling a joint. Whoever took the time to record and upload this: thank you so much!
Have loved this band for a while, I sat on them too long, should have listened to them a lot sooner, I Don't mind the talking, kinda adds to the atmosphere, great sound, the bass could level mountains, such a great band, please come to the UK 🇬🇧.
Dear Anieckele, I'm sorry if my comment hurt you. I sometimes forget when I'm writing here that the author of the clip is also reading the comments. I'm just another spoiled user who rarely if ever contributes. My comment was based on having just heard the Colour Haze recording at the same place and I honestly thought it was the same people behind and also that it was semi-professionally done by someone from the festival or something. You're right that I (or others) shouldn't comment in this way when it is people like you who make this possible in the first place. So I apologize for my lack of manners and instead I want to say thanks for having given it go and shared it with the rest of us!
Minute long piss starting at 50:30 - 51:30! Between the bass stack and the drums. Great sound and recording. Saw this on the side of a Cosmic Dead video. Great band that I'll be listening to now!
Anieckele this recording is awesome man! As a sound & image technician and entusiast I can say that the image quality is really great and the sound is better than zillions of others that I've seen on the web. Voices are, of course distorting the perfomance but even though thank you so much for this recording of an amazing band in this beautiful place. This could be my everyday wallpaper.
Hi I'm from 2023 and a bit stupid. Hahahaha 2nd time I tried to type this. What's aud rec? Hope you are well. I was sent from 2014 by THE ALGORITHM LOL😊
I love the whole idea of this. If I make the screen big enough and hold up to my eyes and crack a beer light a j I'm fucking there with these people, yes I am.Love it. Great job.
Given how Dunajam is rather exclusive (< 150 spectators), you'd think the people really would come for the bands and chit chat less... Funny how we hear the spectators less when in between songs, confirming the microphone is close to camera in the crowd. Nonetheless great show!
This band has potential. They are very thought full in their compositions. Guitar player needs to improve in time sure he will. That drummer & bass player are grand. But have to say drummer in this band is very impressive! Also hope in time keyboards are used more. All in all hope this band continues to work at their sound. I enjoy these guys a lot.
Chill the fuck up guys. People are there for the whole experience, the bands are not the 100% focus. It's smooth, relaxed and full with life, but you fellows at home are craving an experience that you're clearly not a part of. Just enjoy this footage for what is is.
Very good live performance but I don't understand why they always miss out that one melody in the intro of "Soledad" 13:52 when they play it live. There is that one melody that joins the intro at around one and a half minute in the studio version. Yeah, they only have one guitar player live but the guy on the keyboards could play that melody. Synthesizers have many options to make all kind of sounds. I love this melody because it adds so much atmosphere to that intro.
Is 'Homage' a tribute to other songs? @3:25 sounds like 'Cherub Rock' by the Pumpkins, the earlier part of the song sounds familiar but I can't place it. Thanks!
On the island of Sardinia. This is the Dunajam Festival which always takes place on the beach. It takes place every year. At least until last year. This year obviously not because of the global circumstances.
This was the first concert I ever recorded in my life. I'm not a professional sound engineer or something like that, I'm just some guy who always dreamed about going to Dunajam and I was always appalled at how hard it is to find decent footage from the event. So when I heard I was going, I bought a bunch of used camera and audio gear and went for it. I wanted to share these beautiful moments from Dunajam with the rest of the world... I know how frustrating it can be and I wanted to "ease the pain" of people, so to speak. Anyway, like I said, this was the first concert I ever recorded and I quickly learned a lesson about microphone positioning. I placed all the gear in the middle of the crowd, which is a good angle for the camera but unfortunately that means the mic picked up a lot of chatter from the crowd. All the other videos are shot from a more distant position. But apart from the voices, I don't think the recording sounds so bad. I am old enough to remember trading live bootlegs via cassette tapes, and this sounds very clear compared to that. Keep in mind this is not a soundboard recording, but instead a microphone recording. I believe you can still hear everything very clearly. Sorry if it's not 100% crystal clear - I tried my best. But thanks for approaching the issue in an honest and respectful manner. I don't mind discussing the quality of the recording, but you won't believe how many comments I had to delete so far because they were incredibly offensive and disrespectful. Stuff such as "This would be listenable without all the simpleminded morons with verbal diahrea in the background", "I wonder what those fucking cunts in the background keep talking about" and "Well, I really wanted to listen, but those idiots talking ruined the whole vibe. Guess I'll just listen to albums instead" (these are all real comments that I deleted). Really sad and ungrateful little people... I even had to ban some guy from my channel because he kept making several offensive comments. Anyway, sorry for the long rant, this was just a good opportunity to vent a little bit about the extremely disappointing attitude of some people on the internet.
anieckele I got on the email list to go a year or 2 ago. How much did it end up costing you in total? Are you European or from the US? I am from the US so my travel expense would be much higher that if I already lived in Europe. Was it worth it? I too have been dreaming of going.
This band should be waaaaaaaay more well known. What a landscape :o

The golden era of psychedelic music will not end as long as I live. And as long as bands like Causa Sui, Earthless and Colour Haze exist.
@@martinparidon9056 Great taste, I agree about all three.

perfect vibe to roll one after another and another, and another...brother.....

This is unique laid back footage of a great band. As someone who listens to a lot of AUD recordings, I don't mind the chatter at all. THANK YOU!!!!

Amazing!
What is your problem with the background noise of the crowd? This is a pure live performance. Listen to the studio version then. This is great!
La Vie Avant..! Le Monde de Demain...
*Merci !*
Great concert, a real shame people wouldn't shut up, or the microphone wasn't well placed.
your second answer is correct
I think the output sound is ok its close to studio version
If they are going to keep talking, they should leave and let other people enjoy it. People are there for the band.

beautiful psychedelic music
Those guys that wouldn't stop talking kind of ruined the trip for me.

probably cause its too guitars in the studio version, one for chords the other for the melody. since its only one guitarist live they gotta choose.

Why are those people talking all the time during such a set??? Go sit somewhere else when you have a life story to tell... :)
Was going to ask the same - why the fuck anyone will go to a concert to talk about bullshits and not listening to the set.
Nothing is more disrespectful to a performing musician than audience members who won't stop talking or texting.
its placing of micriphone. its were tbe camera angle is. was there
there are always the typical ones in every concert
Dries De Roey Boils my piss when people do that!

Is the guitarist playing Rutger Smeet's tele?
Rutger was still around in 2014. And Jonas from Causa Sui had been playing that same tele for many years ‑ I think they just had the same guitar.
@@anieckele knew he was still around… was just wondering if Rutger had loaned it to him or something
They could record another album with lyrics!=/
T Corleone aaaahhh they have
I mean a new one. They have "Causa Sui" and "Free Ride". Since then, it's only instrumental. Actualy, I'd like to know if they still play together.
