Sweet video! How big of a difference is there between Obliterate and BoS build in raids? Wondering if the steep learning curve is worth it atm! Been thinking about unholy too because of its ease of keeping the damage spread. I just love obliterate so much lmao
I can’t seem to get breath above 30-35 seconds, I keep trying new stuff in the target dummy every once in while but doesn’t seem to be longer than that, any advice?
It shouldnt be longer than that unless you are in a raid with PI and Bloodlust, youre lucky if u can make it last to 30 on a dummy so youre doing everything correct
You should never need that extra 20 rp, properly balancing spending runes and spending runic power means you end up just having a larger bar for no real reason, you could use this if you arent as comfortable juggling your resources yet and probably feel very little downside, as you advance as a FDK player, you can outgrow the need for this talent
@@obliwow I'm not sure i agree, at the very minimum it's an extra second of breath every breath, at the most its an extra second of breath every time you cap on RP and when a good breath and a great breath largely come down to rng everything else being equal it definitely always has value imo
i checked the sims because i was curious, for me it puts +20RP above 20% FS dmg but its so close it's really not even worth talking about lmao preference i guess
@@washyb Since you said this, it got me curious to try it out myself and I can say that I am enjoying it! The extra runic power does allow you to cast certain abilities when you want to maybe to upkeep buffs without overcapping runic power as much. W Spot my guy

Hey mate, Ive been looking for some reasoning or comparison of BoS to DW obliterate because I currently run shattered frost and shattering blade with DW and I sim 200k more (1,7m dungeon slice), and I just feel like you need to be coordinated with your team, pulls etc. in order to run BoS and also as @6931tedikura mentioned, my crit so far is only 21% I havent been lucky enough with my drops (615 ilvl). but I wanted to ask, from 11-12 perspective, me doing 7-8-9 PUG 2,2k rio, do you think obliterate build is more reliable? I feel like it is and I'd just struggle doing BoS. I also only PUG. I'm also looking to maybe switch to 2H for the build. PS: I tried 2 10 keys and I was doing loads of dmg there as well, we just haven't timed it, cos.. you know, maybe me, but people just leave and all that shit around PUG
@@robo7856 my imho , is sf , untill you learn thw dungeon very well , is pretty safe , breath ..requres timing , knowing of all things,. No tard tanks ...for like 200k more overall dps , thst even in plus 10 ..is irrelevant.

Breath is definitely better in my opinion and from the logs, worth it!
After a while i try out BoS, cause mates say it is cancer. And now i love it 😅. Only Think i hate is, when a Tank run around like a headless chicken….

Im doing the exact rotation but i find it hard to keep the resources up. My obl proc doesn't proc enough and seems to be on a cooldown too much

Is 20% FS damage really better than +20 rp? FS is so little of my damage is swapped to +20rp and it feels nice
