You're a genius, XJ Jesse! I regret not having auto mechanic courses available to me because I would love to do this as a hobby (and save myself mechanics' costs).
Kudos to Jesse to make such a big repair on the side of the road! Also Jesse, make sure to hit the 10 minutes mark when doing a video, as YT algo really prefers it, then it'll get much more views. It's how the system works! With a big job like this, it shouldn't be too difficult.
One time use, but you won't find a new one, so you have to re-use the old one. Many many people have re-used the old nut with zero issue. The helicoil on the nut of a wheel on my XJ40 has come out, and I used a 3/4 inch fine thread bolt with a ton of loctite, to make sure it never comes out, and I check it periodically. The best way would be to take the nut on another XJ40 at the junkyard.
THANK YOU! and a huge thank you for saying the torque specs. My jag needs this done and i read a few threads about it, but your video will helpany people for years to come.
Oh man Jesse you are definitely the man..I can tell that is a very hard job. My back passenger side is loose now thanks to you good buddy I will know how to fix it thanks brother 🙏. I dreading it though.
Jesse you’re goooooood but someone gotta teach you how to pack a bearing! Put a wad of grease on your palm, and scrape the open edge of the bearing across palm and the grease. Rotate the bearing and keep doing that until it’s packed on the inside. Super simple.
Hey Jesse love the helpful content I’m trying to figure out if I should change my lower control arm or just the bushings the bushings are toast I can’t seem to find any control arms on the market what should I do ?

Really well presented, no fuss, no music, just easy to follow. Hoping my x308 is the same as your x300 back there when I tackle it next weekend.
Looks like my next repair on my x300. Getting noisy back there. Thanks bro.

Very resourceful.
I think the spindle nut is one time use only.

I did wheel bearings on mine and reused the nut and drove 3000 miles zero issues
