Thanks Chuck, I was an IT Network Engineer for 25 years, 3 years with the British Army, Now I am an on-Call Firefighter and a full time Bee farmer here in the UK. (Growing Zone 7b) I run between 150 - 200 hives depending on the time of year. I love it cos everyday is a school day. Oh, and I'm crap at making you tube videos' even had to force the wife & kids to subscribe 😆

Like I have been saying to you ... I feel you are a technical beekeeper. I can see you love that kind of stuff. Me too. Thanks for all you do.

Hey Chuck - I’m in south Texas with a similar climate. My bees, like your bees, never shut down like up north so I appreciate your channel - very different challenges and opportunities.

Hi Chuck ! I thought I saw a Drone yesterday, today as I walked outside, that sound we sometimes don't wont to hear . Yep one of my hives swarm today. First swarm of the year, 20 foot up in a cedar tree Feb.26th. Levy county Fl. I have swarm boxes out also along with brood boxes set up for swarm boxes. All baited, but yet they still left 😭😭😭. I was in the process of getting my bee vac ready, but before I got set up those little girls left. Thats ok ! the way of life. Now Ill be looking forward to catching their swarm here in about 4 to 6 months. I really enjoy your videos.

Swarms are challenging to avoid, fun to catch, but also part of the natural cycle we as beekeepers try to manage.

Hi Chuck! We’ve been watching since the first video and have appreciated all of your information! We’re located about 45 miles to the NW of you in Baxter FL which is right in the GA/FL state line! I was raised in Cedar Hills, from what I can tell not far from where you live! We’ve been keeping bees for about 8 years now! We’ve met some awesome people who just happen to bee beekeepers!! We go to the Nassau county beekeepers meeting usually, we’ve also met some great people at the Jax meeting, one being Myron Beachy which I think you may know…we actually dipped his boxes for him! Really want to thank you for sharing all your knowledge..it’s helped us out a ton! Great job on your Master Beekeeper Certification…from what I’ve heard it’s a booger!! Good luck my friend!!

Thanks, Chuck…… I’ve been looking for someone on UA-cam that does beekeeping in my zone…. I live outside of Newberry Florida.

Hmmm…I’ve been thinking that you must have an engineering background based upon your attention to detail. Never considered you might be a pilot too though your love of flying insects-aka bees-should have been a clue!
