We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this UA-cam channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! You are expected to use your own funds to settle in Canada that is why you need the POF. People on welfare often depend on food banks because welfare won’t cover their expenses. You would be better if with any minimum wage job.

If a person landed in Ontario then he/she can get OSAP. If landed in another province then he/ she needs 1 year residency in Ontario to get the provincial grant

I feel like you can go for other courses which will help you enhance your field of work such as marketing. I say this because if this is just the first step to becoming an immigration consultant them there may be other steps that might cost you money later. However, doing a marketing course will give you some Canadian education and that will further increase your chances of getting a good job in your own field. This is my personal view because I feel like you should do what you love and invest your time in upgrading your skills in that area. Love you guys. Thank u for this info.

Hey guys, while looking into OSAP I came across a requirement other than the status eligibility (ie PR) which states that you must fulfill the residency requirement(resided for a min of 12 months in the province). I would request you guys to please go through and throw some light on it. And by the way, you guys are doing a great job👏🏻.

Just go to AOL missisauga's website (or any other college in ontario for that matter). Almost all the diploma courses are covered. You will have to call the universities and ask.
Really like all your videos! What if I enroll for OSAP and while the course is on, I get employed. Am I still eligible to keep the grant + loan and repay the loan later?
You should go for it. I know few people here Saskatoon they are earning lot by immigration process knowledge only. Please take a step forward.

I was going through it to check out the different jobs available for which the govt provides training ( like you mentioned about immigration consultant) but I am not able to find the training provider link. If possible, could you please tell me that link?
What's the training provider link? Just call the university and ask if they accept OSAP for the course you like - try with Humber college.

FYI - You can still be eligible for OSAP if you have a part time job. Even if you have low income and it’s not sufficient to to cover your college/university expenses, you can apply for OSAP.

If you planning to do it go for ielts academic so as it should not a prob in your path to sit for ur iccrc license exam. As it’s being a prob for me as I completed my course struggling with ielts at present and getting my license exam delayed .

Are you sure you will get that much in OSAP grants. The program has changed with the Conservative government. If you can easily pay off the loan part you likely have enough foreign income before you arrived to Canada.

Personally I believe your knowledge has already outdone the info the course could teach you except certain legal procedures that maybe involved in certain cases. This is a passion you guys chose to pursue and may not quite enjoy it as much as a full time profession though it eventually gives you quite an income but don't think that is your intent. The best thing about you two is the intent is only to selflessly help and guide others who are in a similar phase as you were.
