Health care is horrible here.. anyone who had been to Brampton civic for any emergency or any treatment can very well understand wat I m sayin... People cry with pain in emergency but no one even listen to them..
The struggle is temporary. Even if you move to some new city for work in India, you will face similar problems. We feel comfortable in India because our parents have created a fortune already. The decision of going to any developed country should not be solely based on self but rather on coming generations who will be better off in those counties
And, to top it all, these guys haven't spoken about mortgage stress which is a life long affair and becomes unbearable when someone looses his or her job, which is frequent here. Driving a car can not be the reason to migrate to a foreign country. Ask any experienced real guy who has settled here for at least 15-20 years and who is truthful, to get a real perspective.
Friends, I lived in Toronto for 10 years. Went as an immigrant I can tell you that there is no need for us educated Indians to go through this kind of struggle. I have seen friends who came as engineers from India to Canada break down and live in basement and work very very hard to buy that one house. They left their fully paid off houses in India to go find a job in Canada. If you have a high paying jobs in India or asia no need to uproot yourself and move. You move when you have made money in India so that you don’t have to struggle there. They are saying temporary what is temporary ? 5 years is a long time. House is only one aspect, promotions and same salary as India is another aspect that they haven’t touched on. India is the melting pot of start ups and multinationals now. unless you are sent to Canada or U.S from your company. My advise don’t chose the struggle voluntarily. Go visit Toronto have fun but move when you have a job in hand or money to outright buy a house.
Thanks Guys.. i’ve been here for nearly 6months yeah life is hard but the first reason “Everything is Temporary “ was like a hope of light...we all fight an uphill battle everyday things like these keep motivating to fight hard instead of giving up ✌🏻
Been here over 10 years... I still don't like the health care system here. I'd rather save that money myself instead of having the gvt. Take it out of my taxes. U know that u still have to pay for medicines right? Unless u have insurance from your company
Very well explained and convincing video highlighting realities and the patience needed to navigate to success in Canada which many people don't understand. I moved to Toronto 3 years ago after leaving a well paid job in a multinational company in Middle East and after 1 year of the move, I was able to find a job in my profession and now well settled.
Reasons why not many want to move to Canada? Germany and many other EU nations hire expats for well paying job positions and don't use the excuse of local European experience while hiring unlike they how they use Canadian experience excuse to not hire expats to well paid positions. Quality of life in EU countries is way more higher than that in Canada. The health care and job security in EU countries is unmatched anywhere in the world. I EU countries they work strictly for 8 hours. They can't call you to work over time. And they need to give you three written warnings before they fire you as you have full rights even as an expat to take your employer to court if they fire you in haste.
What risk are you talking about my friend. Risk is staying with family and growing more , if you feel living an mediocre life in canada is risk thata bullshit
@@samarocks131 sorry I didn't get you. My point was that without taking risk one cannot grow. All of us would have taken some risk at one point of life.
Interesting, for the enjoyment that would come after 5 years one is ready to let go the enjoyment for the first five years! Age would be another factor to consider. On the other hand, if one can maintain a status-co then it doesn't matter where you live. Its not that I am being pessimistic, it just that, I realized this after not clearing my IELTS!! Wish you both luck!
That's the spirit guys... Admire your on screen chemistry and the positive mindset ... Only prayer is you guys achieve anything and everything u had in mind before coming to Canada
Everyone has different reasons to move to a place. I live in the US. Both my husband and I are physicians and we make decent money and live in a decent house. But I don't want to live here forever. I want to go back to India. India is my "final home/real home". Money and lifestyle are not everything. You may realize in the next 5 years and may want to go back to India..Or not..Either way, be happy wherever you are!!

I am an aspiring Canadian and The fact that you said... ‘we came to Canada to make it our home’ gave me goosebumps That’s exactly what i want... A place thats a better Home 🏠 🥰
We moved to Canada in 2017. Our reason for moving was almost similar to yours. We wanted a good life for our kids and most importantly quality of life. We decided to move to a small community called Morden in Manitoba. Being in a small community has its own pros and cons. We were able to buy our first home within a year, my husband and me, we both have good jobs ( although he was running his own business), I was able to sponsor my brother and his family and now he’s here since December 2019. We may not find the perfect jobs but there is so much mental satisfaction and we are enjoying our lives thoroughly.
I'm thinking about moving to Canada for a better life for my kids and family . It's hard because I don't have any funds saved up no job due to covid . Hopefully things goes well for us . Wish us look guys , just thinking positive .
Wonderful video guys. Welcome to Canada!! Its nice to see the positive attitude. I will second to all the research you have done. Agree, its temporary phase and by the time you settle here, it will be over. I came Canada for many reasons(very similar to what you addressed) and it didnt disappoint me in 10 years.

I worked in india for 10 years in hotel industry working as server to Manager. After coming to Canada I understood what is respect at work place and work life balance. My wife works for the government and there are numerous social service programs to support people. No one judge you here except Indians. I can say in 10 years and initial 3 years struggle I can say 🙏 Canada is my home. Living in Alberta and going trips to Banff is a dream come true, there is so much to do outdoors. I'm living my dream and I can't trade this country for anything else, rest each to his own karma.

@KS PRADEEP I have to leave my house and then find mountains and then practice peace and tranquility. India is just overpopulated too much for any peacefulness or spirituality. If your neighborhoods are not doing bhajans then the sunday morning walk by parade of loud shenanigans. Privacy and personal reasoning has never existed. The only thing I miss about India is my childhood and food.
Let your dreams come true...❤️ I was also in Delhi, came two years ago in Toronto,Started a business....bought a small house a month ago..enjoying fresh air😍
Canada might be a heaven, I wont say anything on that, but for me, I would love to work and die in my own motherland. Canada can be onmy list of vacations.
At the end all it matters is money, if you rich you can have lavish life in India, you get fresh air you have more luxury than any other country. If you are rich enough why do you even consider moving to another country, no one would!
@@nikhilmylarapu7349 well there are many other reasons like the air we breath is below the air quality index (if you research you will find out )& getting stuck up in 2-3 hours of traffic jams consuming most of the time, which is totally not good for anyone ! the concept of Rich is different for different people . So ,everyone's views are equally respected.
@@aasthadeshpande7085 I totally respect, think again if we have enough money we will buy a new house close office where you don't have to commute, for air if i am rich i will have a huge garden, all I am saying everything comes down to money. Money comes down to make luxury life which every in need and should realize money is not the only factor. Moving out of country for sometime is good you earn more than what you get in India. If money is not the factor there are lot of places in india where air quality is good and move to those places, india offer wide variety things which we don't realize until we are in abroad. All I am saying money matters at the end of the day. Iot of people would come back if they were given pay what they get in abroad.
Mortgage payment on a $800k worth house with a minimum down payment of 5% would be around $3100 and assuming property taxes around 4-5k a year your total monthly payment should be not more than $3500 and usually if you rent your basement average rental price is around $1500. So if you are a family of 2 even doing survival job or earning minimum wage of $14/ hr and working 40 hrs a week can very well afford a house in Canada, and average house price in Ontario is still under $500k. It’s actually easy to buy a house here than in India.
Hi Navjot & Simran, This video really hit me close. Most people who want to move to Canada think about earning more and having a luxurious life compared to what they're currently leading. I hadn't come across anyone who took the courage to move to Canada knowing that they might have to make a lot of short-term sacrifices for a better quality of life. I've been in the same boat over the past 2 years and was in two minds of moving out of India(in spite of having a PR for Canada and Aust) as it'll be extremely difficult to replicate my current lifestyle in Canada as well (especially of letting go of my Kara walli gaddi and using public transport 😭). But this video really helped me overcome that mindset and hopefully, I and my wife will catch you for a drink sometime in the near future. Keep up the great work. We really love how effortlessly you guys talk and wish you all the best.
Many people are demotivate for new comers but you guys are really good and you giving positive way for people to come Canada and your each and every words are really motivated thanks 🙏

It depends on your choice. Many people are very happy in India even though there are many problems. Canada may be good to settle down if you have a lot of friends and family already settled here. Else, you will soon get bored as there is nothing much to do for at least six months in winter. In addition, lockdown made things much worse than that! Job is also not so easily available and most of the time it is clearly written on the advertisements that Canadian citizens and permanent residents will get preference, in that order. So, it does not really matter how much skill you have until and unless you have that "Canadian residency status". In short, if you are rich, you can buy whatever you want - fresh air, job, or residency status! Skill or talent matters much less than that!!

Been living in Canada for 20 years now. Moved here with my parents when I was 13 from UAE and I will tell you it has been an amazing journey. First 3-5 years is a struggle for all new immigrants. My wife and I make over $140k even with that income we couldn’t afford a home in Toronto. I started off by making $6.5 per hour back in 2003. We live in Calgary, Alberta now...own a big home and drive our dream BMW SUV. We work incredibly hard, pay a lot of taxes but I’d rather live in a country that treats me respect and appreciates my talent. Best of all free education and healthcare. As a Bangladeshi Canadian I encourage new immigrants to be patient, consider upgrading your education from local College or University to compete in the job market with Canadians educated in Canadian Universities and has Cdn. work experience. Also recommend learning about North American culture to better assimilate in society. Your prior education and experience may have brought you to this country but that doesn’t guarantee a well paying job. You gotta be humble and get your foot in the door and work your way up. This country gives everyone an opportunity and if you want to succeed quickly and have your own house one day then leave a Toronto for other Cdn cities. You will never get ahead in Toronto due to high cost of living and home ownership.

Living in Canada more than 6 years now, My reason was clear that I found big struggle to get decent job in India so I moved, if I say I wanted good quality life well, you can get good quality life in India also if you have money. And now same goes in Canada also. I have seen so many Indians working two shifts 12-14 hours a day just working to pay off bills because getting high paid jobs in Canada is very hard. You say clean air then definitely you have don't have reasons. You moved here just because there is big time craze in North India to move in Canada. I am immigration consultant in Montreal so I can say how much craze in Indians for Canada. They don't even know why they want to move.
Nobody is crazy for no reason. Moving to canada is worth if you struggle in india. People in india struggle throughout life for basic needs of food clothing and house

Happiness comes from inside a human. One needs to practice it everyday. Place doesn't matter. May be after 5 years you don't feel happy in Canada and again you will search for a new place. I have met so many people in Punjab and Delhi who have lived all their lives there itself and are so happy and cheerful people. Full of life and big hearts. Only thing they focused was humanity and purpose to serve. They didn't care about Money, House, Lifestyle, Car, Savings, Health care, etc. It's a trap my friend. It's all material my friend. It will be left here only.
Well, it depends on what you want from life. I have my own home in Bangalore. I would like to travel the world but would always want to come back to India and probably live in God Own's Country post superannuation. Superior public healthcare, low levels of pollution, the verdance and the fact that Kerala has good sanitation are some reasons. In general, I would attribute it to the higher levels of HDI. There are great places in India itself for a post retirement life. Mysore, Kerala, Goa, Chandigarh have extremely low levels of pollution. Kerala's healthcare is comparable to the best in the world. People in Punjab have a fetish for Canadian. Chandigarh is not like other Indian cities. What India misses is an NHS kind of agency. This crisis was an opportunity to create something like NHS but the government has missed the bus.
Hi. Absolutely agree with you about places with less pollution. But as you said everyone wants different things in life. For me, I want to move away from India because of too much social pressure. have a child, do this, do that relatives on your head all the time, the safety of my future children with increasing rape cases, the ignorance of people in India is to a level I cannot bear. This is absolutely personal. In fact, My husband and I took the decision to move after a friend passed away in a road accident becuase of rash driving. Ofocurse this can happen anywhere in the world but if you see statistics it is so much more in India. Also, my husband has a very profitable business in India and we end up paying loads in taxes. But in this lockdown we have not received any respite from the government so basically our taxes are in vain. I do understand that other people need it more (migrant workers ) etc but as an economy, it is the government's responsibility to help both. Anyway, agree with you as well.
Agree. I have homes both in Bangalore and Canada and I feel it’s all about what you make of your particular situation. You can lead a fantastic life in India, outside of the metros, that more or less match western countries. And you can lead a fantastic “Indian” lifestyle (food, friends, culture) in many western countries too now a days (A Punjabi will feel at home in many places in canada). At the end of the day jahan raho desh ka samman karo aur bus khush raho!
I was living in Bangalore too. I was not in the IT area..and the cost of living was comparitively less. I decided to move to Kerala as I got a job in tech park Trivandrum. Here life is so chill if you enjoy the serene nature, very less traffic. less pollution, big household, clean well water, fresh veggies with better savings. But if you enjoy more of night life and stuffs..it is not a place for you. I have my own homestead where I grow variety of fruit trees and food crops. I enjoy working in the farm every day morning which gives you mental and physical exercise. I would suggest everyone just to explore opportunities your country has to offer, it takes a lot more struggle to shift your roots to a completely alien place. Job opportunities in Tvm and Kochi is much better than before .. particularly for tech guys. You don't want to spend a life time savigs to buy a land plot or property here.
I am in a dilemma from 1 year. To whether choose Canada or Germany (Taxes even higher than Canada) for Master's and then settle. Being experienced (5 years) I am always in a dilemma. But your videos always gives me a motivation that there is not a better place than Canada to live and retire. Keep up the great work guys 😋
decent life assumptions are only possible when both works and that too in IT....so everyone can not afford that life...so if you are not IT person like Mech/ Civil/ Electronics and you are only single earning guy then think 10 times before taking big step..
I had the same situation, i was in Bangkok for 4 years and now working as a temporary worker in Montreal. Condo is way different than Bangkok, but for future of my daughter i want to stay here permanently!!
Thanks for the video, it's very motivating for the new joiners of the express entry. All the best for your job search and bloom forward for more videos

This nation is for those who don’t want to get judged on the basis of Color and religion. This nation is for those who dream to have a business without paying money to local MPs and police stations. This nation is for those who want respect no matter they are cleaners or bankers. Not many people can afford to migrate to a country as a couple and stay idle for months together. Many people that I have asked in india between the salary bracket of 15-40 lakhs and having either own house or parental house are not interested in shifting to Canada or Australia. If one can afford private schools in India, along with maid and lives in a place with no weather problem then nobody will want to shift. Now coming to advantages of moving to Canada according to many people: 1) 5 years in PR allows Candidate to be eligible for government position. 2) Canadian citizen can easy enter and access US. 3) PR to Citizenship track is easiest in North America. 4) Family immigration possible with many programs unlike other countries. 5) Canadian University cheaper than most countries.
Everyone in Canada will have their own life story so nothing can be generalized. I appreciate the way this couple described the information. You guys look lovely together and I wish you all the best. But a few words of advice from my side as well ( been in Canda for. 2+years) 1. The total year's of struggle that you are willing to put in is very much dependent upon how much savings you have already. If you have already earned handsomely in India or elsewhere, you would be okay, otherwise may be rethink your decision. 2. Choice of profession- There arelimited professions in Canada where your household income after taxes would be 8k as suggested by the video host. So his statement is neither completely right nor wrong. In my opinion, the self- employed, truckers, doctors, dentists, lawyers and IT professionals earn this kind of money. So again, your area of expertise will determine how much you are going to earn. You can google the per capita average income of households in Canada for more clarity 3. Career switch- Many immigrants coming in as PR have a lot of work experience and satisfying careers behind them. Another challenge that you need to accept is that you might have to work jobs which wont provide you with the same level of work satisfaction which you left behind. Some of you might say that if it's paying, then why worry. Trust me when I say this, many individuals in a year or two start to miss the work satisfaction associated with the previous jobs. I can go on and on but it will bore you all so bailing off here. Before you like or dislike my thoughts, please remember what I said in the beginning. Every person who comes to Canada will share his or her unique life experience and so should not be generalised. Wishing all of you happiness whichever country you decide to call home :-)

Hi Navjot & Simran,
This video really hit me close.

Hey .
Yeah iam coming in January
You both are very genuine and amazing....lots of love and respect.
Exactly,to continue to your comment,if anyone who is really Rich, why Abroad?
I agree with you...
U cant buy residency status easily if ur "rich", read whats happening to chinese desperate millionaires trying to escape china...if ur ultra rich(>20mn usd) maybe yess

Money is not everything.
@@talktomohammedkhadim9842 money is everything looser poor people
Well, it depends on what you want from life.
@@ishwaripatkar1839 , I agree. I would love to live in the high mountains of Idukki if it was not for my career.
@@amithpallavoor still you can if you get a job in Kochi.

Now coming to advantages of moving to Canada according to many people:
1) 5 years in PR allows Candidate to be eligible for government position.
2) Canadian citizen can easy enter and access US.
3) PR to Citizenship track is easiest in North America.
4) Family immigration possible with many programs unlike other countries.
5) Canadian University cheaper than most countries.
Great points.
Finally, truth has been spoken. Don't come for money, come for something much larger. Loved the honesty you guys share, keep it up.
Everyone in Canada will have their own life story so nothing can be generalized. I appreciate the way this couple described the information. You guys look lovely together and I wish you all the best. But a few words of advice from my side as well ( been in Canda for. 2+years)
You can google the per capita average income of households in Canada for more clarity
Keep it up guys, you people seems genuine and your way to present is pretty attractive... keep going!
Nice guys you guys are awesome.all d best
The best case scenario is that you earn lots of money from abroad and live a lavish life in India...
Worst case scenario- if the same party continues..you could again go back.
