Great work. I wish you would explain which paint caused the cell formation and what they were mixed with. I'm about 3 weeks into learning how to paint as an escape from the cancer I am being treated for. Acrylic painting takes my mind away from it all. Thanks
Thank you for watching and the kind comment! And I wish you well and good luck on your journey! I believe the cell formation here was a combination of using a soft body white acrylic as a base and covering over the puddle pour. This was before I started experimenting with any types of cell activators so I'm pretty certain that there was nothing else there. If anything it possibly could have been silicone oil but I don't believe so with this one.
The "soft body" acrylics I've used and what I believe contributes to these cells is a pre-mixed product by Artist's Loft. Comes in a variety of colors, but I've only used white and black for the base such as this. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!
The colors were done with a PVA glue (Elmer's) and water mix as the pouring medium. I typically use a 60/40 ratio. I believe these cells came from using Artist's Loft soft body white as the base and covering the colors with that same soft body white. Sadly this was before I began keeping good notes on exactly what I did though.
I appreciate you watching and commenting. Sadly I didn’t keep great details of exactly what I did early on. I believe it’s because I used a soft body white as the covering layer along with the PVA paint medium. It’s actually something I need to revisit and confirm though.

Beautiful! Did you need to add water to the paints you used for your art to make the cells?

Wow, very impressive. I have to try it now. Artist Loft soft body white?
Absolutely correct! Thank you for watching and commenting! ❤️
@@PaintOfArt you are welcome.
The final picture, you showed you gave no explanation how those cells became cell like, eg it becomes like that after half an hour or more heat etc
