I have only begun to realize just how much we owe to the hard work of these storm chasers. Without them, the National Weather Service wouldn't have a fraction of the detailed information they pass on to us, giving us valuable time to get to safety. Thank you so much for the work you do. These videos have taught me so much about how much of a service you all provide. Stay safe, Daniel.
You're quickly becoming my favorite storm chaser. I've been a weather enthusiast since i was 7 back in 1989. I'd leave The Weather channel on all day. Warren Faidley was my hero in the 90s. I envy you (in a good way 😊) because I always wanted to be a severe weather chaser. Thanks for what you do.
Amazing storm, amazing footage. On the plain, without trees, you can see the whole huge storm, and your speeded up view shows it roiling and spinning like a live thing. As always, you are on alert and ready to pass vital info to the authorities and weather service, warn locals, and to assist local first responders with search, rescue, and emergency medical treatment whenever needed. You are an vital asset wherever you go after these storms.
Hi Daniel. I'm from Adelaide, SA and have just recently found your channel. I've been watching storm chasing videos trying to learn about weather patterns and tornados ever since Adelaide was hit by mini freak tornados in 2021. The very first video i saw of yours was the lightning storms in Sydney. I've gone back to watch your channel and found all your videos to be quite informative and a huge learning experience for me. I cant thank you enough Daniel. From one aussie to another, onya mate be safe out there. 👍💪
I don't understand it too. Maybe they don't know about it? But its Nebraska and they see giant mothership cloud. And tornado warnings on the radio? I live in Poland and I understand that behavior here. But at Nebraska?!
This was cathartic to watch. Watching this storm live via Vince and Brandon was so incredibly stressful... That thing was terrifying to see, and I thought they were gunna get caught. This calm summary recap really helped relieve that stress, thank you.
I like the lack of screaming over the wind. It’s refreshing. That storm was gigantic and it looked like it was just taking it’s sweet time. I think the slower moving ones do more damage because they just sit there. I hope everyone is ok!
Thank you for sharing this with everyone! I grew up in Eastern Nebraska, and it can be hard to describe the scale of the storms to someone who has never seen them in person before.
It must be so scary to see and witness the devastation I’m from Minnesota, I remember seeing my first tornado when I was about 10 years old. I felt safe because we had a basement, and my dad assured me that the tornado would lift because of Lake superior. And he was right. However it scared the bejeebers out of me 🤬🥹 BTW, I binge watch these !
Thank for sharing this amazing Intercept ! Seen on Stream Live this was an experiance. Directing the Cam , navigating around ,staying calm and focused just amazing Work.
7:35 That must've been an anticyclonic tornado! I was 2 miles north of the wedge and caught it with just enough contrast. At that moment there was a tiny couplet on radar just right of the main circulation.
You go some amazing shots. I love how you always prioritize the safety of the locals and taking the time to warn people vs just going for the chase and the video. I'm in southern California and I know here, they would have just filmed people in trouble and keep moving. 😜
certain stages of the tornado gave me el reno vibes, not really size wise, bit visibility (lack of) and the rapid changing of morphology. The similar landscapes also helped.
You can see in 1:27 the down draft is pulling the funnel down towards the ground. Next to the down draft is a up draft. It could also be the downdraft is too weak and the tornado cannot form due to perfect conditions not being there
Great video, I often enjoy watching the strom-chasing videos of these terrifying but also beautiful tornadoes. In my homeland there are just boring typhoons, always heavy rain, strong wind, and that's all.
Awesome video Daniel here in Canada our storm season hasnt started just yet we're are ready to chase though when they happen. However right now we're dealing with out of control wildfires. Here's hoping our storm season starts stay safe and happying chasing.
One time 40 yrs ago I was visiting my husbands family in Norman OK, and said "I'd like to see a tornado"! The whole room of people went dead silent. Obviously I had said the wrong thing! Being from Idaho, I had never seen one before. They all had witnessed the destruction and loss of life 1st hand. They couldn't believe I said that.
You're awesome Dan... love ya work. We've had some pretty violent storms here in South West Sydney and I'm in the penthouse and get to see everything... it's so beautiful.
I was watching this monster on Radar scope & my jaw just hit the floor when I saw the size of it at it's largest point. I had to come looking for live footage & sure enough it was a monster hiding in rain!
Daniel I was looking for a live stream for you last week during the days everybody was storm chasing And do you not live stream during the events? I’m just curious because I really like watching your storm chasing
i do not understand i set my alarm to get up at 10:40 for the 11 am stated time and this has already run? 100 minuets ago how is that even poss. why do you set a vioewing time and then just blow it out the door i work nights i set my alarm to get up for this kind of thing!
@@karenkilner1090 that is not the point i am trying to make here. the point is for whatever reason the last 2 live streams have started at 2pm my time and so i had to wait til i got hime and the video is just gone for both of them. and so i set my alarm to get up at 10:40 for this video and its chat. And it had already aired 100 minuets before 10:30 am, and todays live stream could have just as easily again been at 2 which would mean i would not get to watch anything much again today.
I realize we all have to live somewhere and tornados happen all over. I'm just thankful I don't live or have to travel to these areas anymore! I wonder if the people who live in tornado alley areas get additional mental health assistance for living and working in these areas
mental health assistance? us folks that live in rural areas dont need mental health assistance, thats reserved for the city folks lol we dont care about trying to fit in with the world like yall do LOOOOOOOOOL
The warm moist air from the Gulf of Mexico meets the cool air from the north, and where they meet is in plains sandwiched between two mountain ranges. It's a unique setup that makes tornado alley a Hotspot.
What if all those clouds just fall on the ground surface all at once and nothing happened but all covered in thick clouds no wind no rain or hail. Just clouds. It be fun right
Like mist again but actual tornado clouds. Atmosphere got tired of all the tornadoes winds rain hails and just fall to the ground all of those clouds. Can happen right you never know it be great though right no tornadoes no rain hailstorms just covered with clouds that huge

I can’t believe people are driving towards the tornado. I understand they might have family that live that way but I drether have my family stay away.
I don't understand it too. Maybe they don't know about it? But its Nebraska and they see giant mothership cloud. And tornado warnings on the radio? I live in Poland and I understand that behavior here. But at Nebraska?!
They likely don't even know. It being rain wrapped makes it difficult to tell cuz some rain storms look very similar.
It's survival of the fittest in action.
Sometimes you don't know its there or you're not from the area and driving through you have nowhere to go and don't know where to go.
It's mostly bad judgement,, there is alot of people that don't know or don't care of weather conditions.
This was cathartic to watch. Watching this storm live via Vince and Brandon was so incredibly stressful... That thing was terrifying to see, and I thought they were gunna get caught. This calm summary recap really helped relieve that stress, thank you.
The whole Intercept and approach was very focused and great directed with Cameras. Very exciting

Thank you for not screaming and yelling!
Thank you to all the STORM CHASERS who help keep the public safe and give the location of these dangerous storms. You guys are our true heros

8:25 Oh my god... I grew up in Lyons in the mid 90s and when he drove around that corner into Oakland I felt like I phased into another dimension.
Some of the most stunning storm video around. You are a “storm” artist. Can’t wait for more. Great shoot.

Thanks for the live stream Daniel. Have safe travels today.

Hi, Daniel! Incredible footage. Keep up the good work. Thank you for being out there!
Wondeful work as always Daniel, this was a fun stream to watch live!
This is great video coverage and awesome that an Aussie is in America !!!

I love your videos! Stellar work!
I love the filters you are using on your cameras to bring out color and contrast.

Daniel, I always enjoy your videos, keep them going!!!
Incredible footage sir! I always enjoy your work and learn so much! Thank you!
What's. Your. Cell. Phone. Number. Ill. Call. You
I tracked this cell on NWS Radar. It started in Spalding, NE and just kept spinning up tornadoes all the way up to Oakland! An incredible storm cell!
Nice. Once I get some time I'm going to catch up on what you've caught so far this season
Some awesome footage Daniel.
That's not too far from the town of Pilger that got devastated in 2014.
he posted footage of the pilger tornados.
Great video, I often enjoy watching the strom-chasing videos of these terrifying but also beautiful tornadoes.
In my homeland there are just boring typhoons, always heavy rain, strong wind, and that's all.
Thank you for warning my fellow Nebraskans.
Thank you for the great footage! 😮😮 💚
Rain wrapped tornados are the scariest. People dont know what they're driving into...
Awesome video Daniel here in Canada our storm season hasnt started just yet we're are ready to chase though when they happen. However right now we're dealing with out of control wildfires. Here's hoping our storm season starts stay safe and happying chasing.
those sirens send chills through me!
I love how this guy warns the worker at the gas station to prepare and keep him safe but if I was a that station my eyes would be fullly on the storm
Great commentor, I like these shows😢
I like that you help people after a storm like this… Thank you
(I really like your accent)😅

Great video guys.
😮Man that's soon crazy cloud formations. I live in eastern Canada and luckily we never get tornadoes. Great work man.👍✌️
I'm the storm chaser who called in to get the sirens to go off in Oakland , Close call!
Beautiful views of the storm.
Good job and stay safe 💖💖💖💖👍👍👍💖💖💖💖
You're awesome Dan... love ya work. We've had some pretty violent storms here in South West Sydney and I'm in the penthouse and get to see everything... it's so beautiful.

The sirens sounded like creepy music in a horror movie
Awesome Tornado.
