You should also check out MesoHunter. He's not crazy like Timmer or some of the others, and he's really calm most of the time. He doesn't try to get right up in the tornadoes face either if you know what I mean.
I watched this on Patreon stream. As a Career Firefighter/Medic (retired) I instantly went into 1st responder mode mentally. It was intense to say the least. Good job documenting and S&R.
Subscribed after watching the Pilger 2014 video. Love how you are genuinely interested in the welfare of the victims of these natural beasts. Stay safe dude.
Man after my own heart. In another life I'd have been a storm chaser. I like how you get out the SLR and start grabbing detail landscapes. You must have some amazing shots over the years.
Good to see you and the little white RAV back in action. Some gorgeous footage of the tornado, and heartbreaking footage of those impacted by it. Thank you for sharing these experiences with us.
Have you thought about getting an LED sign to mount to the back of the RAV so you can display "tornado ahead" or similar to passing traffic? Might prevent a few people blindly driving into a rain wrapped tornado.
Thank you very much for being there and being prepared. Your knowledge and expertise is really appreciated. Also your being so conscious of safety. We couldn't stand it to lose one of you guys. Thanks again. And the cloud structure at the end was eerie. What a year so far and I am just waiting for our turn in Michigan.
12 hours ago Greetings from Killeen, Texas. You're just a few hours away from me. My gosh, I have a splitting headache and my blood pressure is way up just watching this! I cannot imagine being in this.
The storm was so strong and what could be possibly be safe beside safety first.Yet the courage of wanting to witness what happening to the world surrounding us is what the chase about.Stay safe guys.Gid bless and thank you.
Daniel, the sequence you end this video with, the massive storm cloud with all that electrical activity inside it: awesome, spectacular, stunningly beautiful. My heart rate right up - all that beauty alongside the emergency and the awful damage. You said yourself cruelty and beauty. Stay safe.
I truly love how you center yourself. You exercised great calmness. You are a proper and smart chaser. Definitely, will subscribe for future content. Safe chasing!
i hope to see these streams more often. caught one last week or so and been waiting for another. ive clicked on some other channels that stream storms but they just dont compare to an aussie chasing em. lol
The first 15 minutes can't get anymore textbook than this. What a beautiful structure. You really have a lot of luck to see such a huge textbook structure with large hail and nearby lightning strikes, all at once. This tornado was beautiful. Brilliant work throughout the whole video, Daniel!
Dan, those last few minutes of silent lightning were so surreal, reminded me of the lead up to Close Encounters. Good to see you back, safety first brother.
Hi Dan, Good to see you live! Looks like this year's La Nina won't disappoint us here in Australia... But I wonder, Does this year's La Nina affect the U.S's tornado season?
Big hail seems to bother me more than news of possible tornados anymore. Back in 2017, we had softball-sized hail wrecking a swathe of North Texas that did massive damage. Our house took a significant hit, but luckily from the direction the storm came in, it shielded the cars in the driveway from being total losses. Can't say the same for the roof, which is why I remember the year so clearly. Roofers were Everywhere the rest of that year. Shingles and roofing nails in the roads became a big problem. The worst bit of that was the local weather stations completely missed the ball on forecasting it. One of the meteorologists (the chief at the time) called for pleasant sunshine and zero chance of rain. Not surprisingly after the event, he disappeared and was later found broadcasting in Chicago.
Hi Daniel , wow mate great vid , though felt for those who lost their houses but pleased no one died. Wow what a great tornado perfectly formed , you will have some great pics from that. thanks for taking with you
He should, with all the thousands of $$$ of electronics he has. Why he went to Patreon. To support all the $$$$$ video equipment. Most US chasers aren't in it for the video quality, they're out there chasing reporting conditions to locals in the path and render aid, regardless of color saturation and pixels and other "camera" stuff 🤷
At 54:10 as the tornado touches down if you tilt your Head to the left you can see the stretched out mouth of someone screaming in the clouds, eyes, nose, mouth, forehead and cheeks 😍 it's as if the sky itself has come alive and is screaming in pain at the sight of the destruction in its Wake..I've seen nothing like it in all my life but once you've seen it you can't unsee it
I watched this happen on a few different streams and caught Freddy McKinney's rescue of a family just after that thing chewed up their home. It was genuinely distressing to watch from halfway across the country. I can't imagine what it was like to be there.
Daniel I love ❤️ Watching your Tornado 🌪 Chasing UA-cam Videos and Tornadoes 🌪 are Fascinating and Scary at the same time Do you Ever Take People out Tornado 🌪 Chasing???? Keep the Tornado Chasing UA-cam Videos Coming Daniel 💯💯💯💯💯❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
At 41:43 is that a Dog on the right, in the grass. At that point it sounds like Dan is trying to lead a dog or some animal into the truck--- Doesn't it??
Hey, Daniel? Did you happen to hear about storm chaser Freddy McKinney and how he rescued a family whose home was demolished by the tornado and they, especially the kids, were seriously injured?
"I cant believe cars are just blindly driving." Believe it, friend, people dont drive safely in clear and dry weather, they think nothing bad will happen.
I thought I'd heard an Aussie last year...now, why would you come up to see our breezy weather?! Good footage, except why do you film the foliage??? 😂 We have cow!!!
ORM!!! (Operational Risk Management) Running across a major road to brace on a miles long barbwire metal wire fence under powerlines to watch a tornado. If something went wrong you have multiple dangerous hazards between you and your escape vehicle. Is a pretty picture of a tornado out in the middle of nowhere worth that risk?
Be mindful, my guy. You're in Texas in the spring and summer... Keep an eye out for random rattlesnakes. Especially around fence rows and tall grass. Texas is littered in them, so please keep that in mind. Don't lose focus on smaller dangers and have tunnel vision 💯 Remain safe 🙏 😊
Epic dude!
Thank you for helping people in trouble and thank you for teaching us about the weather ☁️
I was watching live! Hero for a family in need!
Thank you Daniel for all that you do. We are very blessed to have our brother from down under chasing storms in the USA.
Thanks for sharing Daniel. Great job done by Vince, Corey and yourself during the S&R. Stay safe out there.
Merci Daniel pour cette magnifique vidéo et bravo pour l'aide apportée aux victimes
Brilliant work as always Daniel. With the chase, S&R and the edit, you truly encapsulate the range of emotions from that day. Well done!
Here in the States, we call em windshields(and tbh, the term works out so much better, as a screen allows things through yet, and a shield doesn't!
You and Pecos Hank. Only two I watch and respect.
Same here. The amount of tornado tourettes (and complete lack of self preservation) on most other channels makes them unwatchable.
You should also check out MesoHunter. He's not crazy like Timmer or some of the others, and he's really calm most of the time. He doesn't try to get right up in the tornadoes face either if you know what I mean.
Real good to see you back Daniel 🌪️🌪️🌪️

This one was beautiful, literally brought tears to my eyes. Tornadoes are fascinating and frightening. 😖❤️

Daniel. Not another Windscreen ! Looks like the Hail guard is in need of some repairs too .
Thanks for doing what you do !
Good work Daniel catch more of these awesome video's prayers for the ones that were effeced by tornado
I truly love how you center yourself. You exercised great calmness. You are a proper and smart chaser. Definitely, will subscribe for future content.

Thank you for your insight on search and rescue with Vince.
Amazing footage and not yelling thankyou so much⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😍
Amazing work and footage. But I’m not gonna lie. That close up shot of that destroyed house brought tears to my eyes. They lost everything.
That smooth channel strike was an absolute belter.
I though the same thing as well
Thanks!
Thanks for this great video. Informative and worth seeing!👏
Great job 🌪️🐨
Dan, those last few minutes of silent lightning were so surreal, reminded me of the lead up to Close Encounters. Good to see you back, safety first brother.
Wow I am so glad that I found your channel! I am a lightning and wildlife photographer in Florida. Your footage is breathtaking ❤
Great captures. Gorgeous work.
Great footage Daniel, great catch.
Daniel! Starting the season off right! 😀
Welcome back to Texas!
Love your videos and thank you for doing them . I know all the storm chasers do this for a good reason . Please be careful.
as an aside ..wandering into the roadside scrub in TX and other states in the us wher you generally chase a set of snake boots might be in order.
All of that multi - vortex action at 7 mins in. Wow!
How can something so incredibly beautiful be so destructive?
Hi Dan, Good to see you live! Looks like this year's La Nina won't disappoint us here in Australia...

Fantastic!! Kickass!!

Well, today's gonna one for the record books, potentially. High risk day! Good luck out there Daniel!
Hi Daniel , wow mate great vid , though felt for those who lost their houses but pleased no one died. Wow what a great tornado perfectly formed , you will have some great pics from that. thanks for taking with you
Thank you for we can see you sometime 🥰👍
You always seem to publish great quality video. Excellent job

Daniel is going to get fired because sandra has to pay for another windshield
😂😂😂
Haha
Lol
Collateral damage when storms throw golf ball hail at you😛
I was wondering when you were going to show up this season mate, it's been popping off
Watching from New Zealand very interesting
Dammm thought you were live now with the grapefruit hail expected 😊
Go Daniel !

As I watched Corey's video, I saw old men's faces, an angry llama, a pig, a kitten, and more. I also thought I saw a monster's face too.
Why was there a Minecraft pig dying at 4:30 though?? 😂😂
I watched this happen on a few different streams and caught Freddy McKinney's rescue of a family just after that thing chewed up their home. It was genuinely distressing to watch from halfway across the country. I can't imagine what it was like to be there.
Yess! My favorite Aussy
You and hank always have the best footage while staying calm, cool, and collective. Not like reed timmer, he's always screaming for no reason.
I mean, Reed IS chasing tornadoes lol. The fact this guy and Hank can stay calm is unusual
@@catpoke9557 it's professional. Not unusual
@@catpoke9557 yeah but there's no need to be constantly screaming obvious things that anyone with eyes can see
That’s why I can’t watch him
@@tmmtmmthen don’t watch them. It’s honestly more entertaining. Then this
Wow, that's huge!
I watched this tornado form live on UA-cam. It was a puny thing at first. I had no idea it would become so destructive. Surreal to think about
15:48 It was terrifying to see the whirlwind coming. it's big and despicable 😰😰
My favorite chases are the ones when you use the ham.
Great video of tornado.
Daniel
I love ❤️ Watching your Tornado 🌪 Chasing UA-cam Videos and Tornadoes 🌪 are Fascinating and Scary at the same time

Keep the Tornado Chasing UA-cam Videos Coming Daniel
💯💯💯💯💯❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Note to self, never buy a used car from a storm chaser lol. I remember seeing this live on Vince's stream.
I almost got one too, It was raining very hard and there were lots of thunder, Almost causing a tornado which makes me scared.
If you pause the vid at 10:18 the tornado fills with lightning and it is pretty amazing.
At 41:43 is that a Dog on the right, in the grass. At that point it sounds like Dan is trying to lead a dog or some animal into the truck--- Doesn't it??
what a place to live be like living in another world
Hey, Daniel? Did you happen to hear about storm chaser Freddy McKinney and how he rescued a family whose home was demolished by the tornado and they, especially the kids, were seriously injured?
How fast is that going
It's really strange how some tornadoes can look so nasty and then some look peaceful and calm. but all dangerous.
"I cant believe cars are just blindly driving." Believe it, friend, people dont drive safely in clear and dry weather, they think nothing bad will happen.
Using a different Vehicle? What happened to your hail shield? Nvm Just got different camera angles. Nice!
Smart idea having that brain bucket!
Hi Daniel shaw I want to meet you in real life I'm your biggest fan and I like watching your videos 😊
Daniel when you replace your car, think about a Lexan windscreen yes a little pricy but $ 500 for one that wont break
Huge
Please don't stand near a fence during a storm.
Wow
Radio guys are hilarious
❤
Windscreen broke, -$500 Hail
It’s playing hide and seek with you
wooow i see no bot comments here 😱
how much km have you car know 😅
Dang
