Enjoyable, apart from the obligatory, forced and unsubstantiated attack on "colonialism". If you are really so bothered about it, return the object to India.
This response puzzles me, as the negative space alluded to by the presenter does not obliterate the view of the conserved carpet, but is actually an integral part of its design. Furthermore, the restored elements that partly form the negative space actually support the carpet's exhibition.
A wonderful presentation. Thank you for providing insight into the origin and use of the carpet. Wish I could visit in person!
Enjoyable presentation of an area of art I know nothing about. You gave me the incentive to learn more. Thank you!
have always wondered about and enjoyed this carpet at the frick. thank you for the history and context.
Very good presentation.
Thank you so very much...this carpet is so beautiful, and I love hearing its history!
Loved the presentation! Great work!

you give a nice example of "negative space" obliterating the view of the carpet all the time...

well if you are satisfied with the important curator half the time obliterating the view of the carpet while explaining him...@@barrymoore4470
@@barrymoore4470 I think you missed the point.
