    Enjoyable, apart from the obligatory, forced and unsubstantiated attack on "colonialism". If you are really so bothered about it, return the object to India.

    you give a nice example of "negative space" obliterating the view of the carpet all the time...

      This response puzzles me, as the negative space alluded to by the presenter does not obliterate the view of the conserved carpet, but is actually an integral part of its design. Furthermore, the restored elements that partly form the negative space actually support the carpet's exhibition.
